Cheap Hotels in Minho

Albergue Casa do Sardão is just one of those great places. You stay there a night on your way, and you just have to stay another. The calm, the energy, the love is so present in the whole property.

This has been my favourite hostel on the Portugese path. Alex and Milanda who work there are extremly friendly.

We had a great, restful evening at this albergue! Food offerings were very much appreciated, including homemade meals that we could eat on our schedule.

Enjoyed this hotel very clean! Very conveniently placed and has good parking. Good facilities tea and coffee available 24hrs at the entrance. Breakfast is a little too expensive though.

This was one of the best places I stayed on my Camino.

Staying at this hostel was a truly special experience for me and really enriched my journey along the Camino. The owners, Anna and Pedro, are such warm and wonderful people! It felt like coming home!

It's in a quiet area, it's well located, they have a fair price for what's in the area, the rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is good and not to mention the friendliness of the owners to top

Everything was perfect. The food choices were great and the Albariño wine went perfectly with our choices.
You can see the staff working in the open kitchen, which was interesting.

A pleasant, tourist oriented restaurant used by some locals. Higher than average quality. Perhaps we chose the wrong item. The hake.

If you are lucky you will find a parking place close by but the restaurant is a visit worthwhile. Nice service and very good food.

We now call this simple but charming hotel “home away from home”. Paula, the manager, always greets us with a smile and a quip. Everything is clean and proper.

I highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Camino and want to stop in Caminha or Seixas. The private rooms are small but very nice.

Patricia is an amazingly attentive host, her place is spotless clean, kitchen was the best we experienced on our Camino and the Sunset on the patio was icing on the cake.

Quiet location in the historic town. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast included and pleasant staff.

Nice little hotel right in the heart of town down a quiet street.
The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and we received a turndown service for the two nights we stayed.

I stayed here in Barcelos during my Camino and it was wonderful! The staff were incredibly kind, they let me into my room early when they saw I was soaked from the rain.

I stayed there with my wife and kids during our camino bike trip. Great host and friendly staff! Even helped us store our bikes inside. Definitely recommended.

Amazing hostal!

Joanna was an amazing host. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent and great coffee. Great place for a family and really close to everything.

Basicly the best small hostel I have been to. Very tidy and cozy rooms, super friendly and comfortable owners, the kitchen is top aswell.

Friendly stay, I had 1 of 8 beds in a room. Still did not feel crowded. Location is very good many restaurants near by and close to the pear where I took the water taxi to A Guarda. Recommended stay.

Such a pleasant play to stay. Evening host was very helpful and morning host was incredibly helpful by helping me get to Tui. Location was excellent for food and community information.

Lawrence and Casa Gwendoline is the definition of hospitality and a true gift on the Camino. His home is the perfect resting stop before making your way to Valenca or Tui.

Nicest staff ever. They were very helpful on anything we needed and could help to find nice things to do around.
Also even if we were in front of the train station we could not hear any sound.

For the price, very satisfied. Room was on the fourth floor, great view. Aircon was so powerful and heated up the room in seconds. Breakfast was standard continental.

Room — Good sized room, interiors are old fashioned but have a nice appeal. Clean and well maintained.

A superb hotel in Barcelos. Great views over the bridge and old town, excellent breakfast and spacious rooms.

The owners are lovely, the attention exquisite and everything very clean and comfortable.

It was a perfect place for a rest day after reaching Santiago and then arriving in Valença to walk again. Cosy, comfy, peaceful and a cocoon bed to snuggle up and sleep.

The perfect hostel in my opinion, it has everything you need, beds with curtain, clean rooms, showers and toilets, lockers, good location, good vibe, kind staff.

I recently stayed at the ibis Guimarães Centro and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the experience.

For basic hostal accommodation this place ticks all the boxes. Our small but adequate on-suite twin was clean with comfortable beds and fresh sheets. White towels and a good shower in the bathroom.

Reasonable price, Very helpful staff, clean rooms, hot showers, has Aircon, lovely breakfast, easily one of the best stays in Portugal.

This place has everything you need for a great stay. It is very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen — including a blender! There is a nice big fire for cooler Winter nights.

I stayed in this guest house for one night while walking the Camino with my friend! What a gem! Bright, clean and with amazing facilities! We had a lovely view from our room with a little balcony.
