Our stay at Quinta Jardins do Lago was truly exceptional. The property is stunning, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens that create a serene and unforgettable atmosphere.

We came for a week and have been totally impressed with the hotel. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The food is good. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding.

We had a great stay at The Editory Garden (formerly Hotel do Carmo). The rooms are clean and quiet with comfortable beds and large balconies.

What a fantastic hotel… my wife and I have travelled extensively and stopped in plenty of hotels. The savoy palace is by far the best and we have been I many 5 star hotels.

Stayed at the Savoy Palace in Madeira in May right at the peak of their annual flower festival. The pool and grounds were immaculately maintained.

Amazing hotel with free breakfast! Our room was pretty average but had nice toiletries and stuff for free which I appreciate.

Location wise recommended. You are in the center, walking distance to most restaurants, markets, atms, supermarket, caffee's. The hotel looks pretty good lobby, elwvators, hallways, roof top.

2nd time here. This hotel is spectacularly clean and has warm, friendly and helpful reception staff with humour.

Everything went super smooth, check-in and check-out. The apartment was very clean and every day the cleaning staff would come and clean! The parking is small but we always managed a space.

This is a lovely old-fashioned hotel with real charm. Yes, the rooms need refurbishing-at least ours did — but the grounds are lovely, breakfast very good, and the reception staff kind.

This is a beautiful old finca which stands out from all the surrounding modern hotels in Central Funchal. It has 2 swimming pools with salt water which sit in tropical gardens overlooking the sea.

Nice hotel with good views over the bay of Funchal. 3 free shuttle buses each way and regular buses costing 1.95 euros each way. Breakfast is good. Pleasant and friendly staff. Good rooftop pool.

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. As it is a little way out of the main town it is quieter. Six of us have just enjoyed a really lovely stay for a week.

My daughter and I spent an amazing week in Madeira and at the Greco hotel. The hotel is located right in the centre of Funchal, next to a Continente supermarket — very handy.

Central location in Funchal close to the sea, the most central parts of the town and two good supermarkets. We stayed on the highest floor and had a big balcony with nice views, very sunny.
