Machico Hotels

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a walking holiday with Headwater.

Very peaceful location up in the hills and ideal for walking and relaxing with excellent food and sizeable spa.

Hotel Costa Linda exceeded our expectations, and our stay was truly a delightful experience. What impressed us the most was the breakfast, which was varied and always fresh.

A clean, quite and comfortable hotel in Porto da Cruz with a breathtaking sea view and delicious breakfast. Not expensive at all.

Machico! So lovely. This place! Smells as good as it looks. It's so well cared after, and the recycles wood brings an immediately apparent warmth to the building.

We booked a beginner course that ended up taking place in Machico due to the conditions, and everything was smooth from start to finish.

We stayed for a full week and enjoyed it very much — the surfspot was great and our instructors did a great job, were super friendly and helpful.

The place to stay in Machico. Modern and great organization. I arrived at the airport at night, so I arranged the check-in beforehand without any problems!

The rooms were clean and quite lovely. The location could not have been more perfect! Central to all of the action in Machico and an under-10-minute ride from the airport.

The apartments are comfortable and clean. The owner is very friendly! A nice view on the ocean and the village. In the garden, there are many banana and papaya trees.

This was the second time we stayed at this fabulous wee apartment, all ya need for a few days in Porto do Cruz, the town is a must see if you visit Madeira, the views are spectacular, wether you want

I had such a wonderful time at Jaca Hostel in Porto da Cruz. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, they’re friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about their guests.

Oh how much I love (d) this place! My plan was to travel to spend some time alone, but I realized very quickly in the hostel, that the only thing I need is the company of great people!

Good room, very spacious. Near the sea and the airport!

Canical has everything you need for a perfect vacation. The whaler’s houses are located near beaches, restaurants and shops where you can buy inexpensive local food.

We did not stay in the hotel, but we had breakfast inside the hotel's restaurant. It was super, the ladies were helpful and smile all the time. The view was super even in rainy days.

I did not stay in the hotel, but had breakfast at the seated outdoor area. Great food in a picturesque setting. Lovely clean, paid swimming pools nearby.

A beautiful place for those who love to be in touch with nature. Peacocks and chickens accompany your breakfast. It was great to start the day with fresh eggs and breakfast products every day.

A lovely spacious room with surrounding farmland. Up in the hills but with a short drive to Funchal. Very beautiful place with a very lovely host. I would love to visit here again in the future.

I absolutely loved staying in machico. The location of this hotel is perfect. Beautiful views, quick walk to the beach, delicious breakfast. I loved interacting with Antonio.

Everything was perfect!
A cozy, lovely small family hotel. The location is superb! The beach, restaurants, shops — everything is nearby. The airport is close, 7M car rental  in the same building!

I had the pleasure of staying at this guest house in Caniçal and it truly felt like a little paradise.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment is modern, cozy, and welcoming, with a pleasant scent inside that shows how much care the owners put into the place.

Good stay. Nice owners. We were in room 12 on the 3rd floor. It has a nice balcony where 2 people can sit comfortably. The hotel is clean and very well-situated.

The hotel is integrated with the restaurant, which doubles as the entrance during opening hours, and the staff are all friendly.
