Everything seems so new and fresh. Beds were. Lucious. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. The location is short downhill walk to town and short uphill walk to Pena Palace.
Just an amazing place, truly magical! If possible, choose this hotel when you go to Sintra. Staff is so warm and loving, they will take good care of you. Everything was perfect: room, breakfast, service etc. Wonderful, charming hotel.

Stopped in here on our honeymoon and wow, this is a stay we will not forget. The grounds are beautiful, the Biesters knew what they were doing and had some serious cash at the time. Theresa is chalk FULL of local knowledge (history, palaces, restaurants) and so quick to share. The room is everything you need while touring Sintra, and the two local towns are just a short walk, albeit one way is inevitably uphill ;) Close to everything and hey — when’s the last time you shared a house with a horse?!
