We found the staff to be inflexible and unaccommodating. The room was in disrepair with inoperable a/c, lamps, and outlets. When checking out (which is at 12 noon), we asked to hold on to the parking pass until 12:30 while we hiked around town. We figured it wouldn't be a problem since they had our 60 euro deposit AND we paid for 24 hours. Bottom line? DO NOT STAY HERE unless you like being treated rudely…

Not up to the standard of charm the website conveyed. Staff was extremely friendly but owner did not seem to agree with our concerns and was very defensive when I alerted her to the issues. It has a wonderful location with stunning views, however much of the landscaping in the front was dead (appeared to be lack of water? ) and overall the building seems to be suffering from deferred maintenance. It is tired and needs some TLC. Oddly, the building has a strange, offensive smell, which is worst downstairs where food the is served. On the plus side, the bathrooms were clean and the bed linens were clean and fresh.

The Owner, Charlotte, is one of the most rude woman that I ever met.
I spend 3 night in this hotel, with NO hot water, and the only think that she does, was asked me to open the water 40 minutes or more before to take the shower. At the beginning, that petition sounds very weird to me and also very inconsiderate with the embaiorment, but then, and considering that I had to take I shower, I did it, but the water still being cold.
Also the Wi-Fi was damaged and the most amazing thing is that I asked her for a descaunt, showing that she didn't wanted to fixed anything and she just called the police to resolve the problem. I can't believe how someone can't talk with any respect and needs the authoritys to resolve very simple issues.
So here is the point: if you want to spend a very quiet and beautiful days in Sintra, you can choose any other place that give you the basic services and the basic treatment that you deserve.
I Hope nobody has to live this on their hollydays!
