Hm: long list, the most unfriendly staff ever, from the reception to the waiting staff at the pool, for a 4 star this is unacceptable. They are just being there to click the hours except one single waiter there which I did not get the name.
there is no customer service, they just inform you that you can't do this or that (one woman dared to sit on a sun bed without asking for a towel) we'll there was nobody there anyway :) ) but there was no offer from that staff member to get get one.
their main focus is to serve only if you are buying from their bar but they never come back to clear those glasses, bottles 2 different people came, took orders and completely ignored the dirty glasses sitting in the sun for hours. Sat there 4 hrs! nobody cleared no glass, and by the way they don't know what tray service is, your glass of wine is carried by hand. Shocking service!
there are no trash bins anywhere and also no shower at the pool, you have to go down somewhere, the water in the pool is freezing cold because its not heated. And omg if I keep go on and on… just stayed there because I was trapped but never again. From location point of view in the middle of nowhere to the construction sites that made me feel I was somewhere in a war zone. Center is far away you have to get the metro because the pavements are a disgrace… that's it!

Good treatment all very clean and the amazing double bed of luxury the buffet all rich and well served swimming pool and playground I recommend.

Attending a conference in Lisbon and this hotel was arranged for me. Big clean room with a very comfortable humongous bed, so although only a short sleep but the quality of which appeared to have made up for lack of quantity, and feeling very refreshed this morning. Reinvigorated further by a fantastic shower and an excellent buffet breakfast that has everything you would expect and want to eat! In bus on way to conference…

Great service, good restaurant, modern style, pools for kids, ideal fro family, close to downtown and airport also, good breakfast.

The worst experience of my life! The manager was dishonest! A lot of staff for not to much …

Very understated hotel without too many frills, basic, modern, with comfortable bathrooms and large bathtub.

Wardrobe in uncomfortable position behind the front door.
Hearty buffet breakfast with everything you can like: sweet and salty; hot and cold. Great.
Hotel restaurant with appreciable food. But we had a hard time having a simple burger for the kids.
We dined a carte and the prices seem right for the place and since it was New Year's week.
The location is great because right below, in the street next door, there is the city subway that takes you in all directions. You can make the weekly or daily family card and you are ok as many times as you want in all trips. Even out of town.

If 0 star was available, I would have selected it because it is a maximum 2 stars hotel. Nicole at the reception and another one were very rude and did not want to help (too long of an event to write). Most staffs are very rude making you feel uncomfortable. For the price of this hotel, I would expect some toiletries but they do not provide, you have to ask everytime and they r not pleasant abt it. There was some dirt on the sheets and they never changed it. The pillows are the most uncomfortable ones and the rooms are small and not that clean. We drank in a cup and left it on the table on our room and the next day IT WAS STILL THERE, a dirty cup! I DO NOT recommand this hotel except if you have very low expectations.

If you are travelling for business or any events that need ironed/ pressed clothes, don't count on this hotel to provide you access to ironing equipment. I repeatedly asked for it over 2 days to no avail. They said they can't track who they loaned it out to and just shrugged their shoulders saying they can't help it if they can't locate it and customers don't return it (? ). Maybe they should consider tracking who they issue the equipment to, or have customers come to a communal laundry room with the ironing equipment? Breakfast spread was nice though.

Fairly basic hotel. Decent sized room, small TV, good pillows. A bit far from the city center but still located in a nice area. Taxis are fairly cheap and it costs about 8€ to go to most places.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a great time there. The only downside is Wi-Fi. For those who like me have a PC operated by a master defined by their box, can not connect. I have to during the entire stay connect my PC to the 4g of my phone. When we come to work it is very embarrassing.

Hotel is good and clean. Close to airport and downtown. Breakfast is free for kids (only parents are charged) and is very good for a family holiday. Receptionists and internal restaurant waitress at the entrance could be a little more kind and tolerant.

The hotel is a great place to stay in Lisbon. The staff is not at the height of the Novotel standards… Disappointed.

Was there a week at conference. The room had great views. The bathroom was freshly renovated and the mattress pleasant. The breakfast buffet is really delicious! You walk to the water for about 40 minutes.

I have visted a lot of Accor hotels over the years, but I have to say that this is one of the worst I have visited. Unhelpful staff, Breakfast area that is so not logical, rooms that are very high priced but maintenance hasn’t been done for years. This novotel is like an ibis old style and I would not suggest anyone to this hotel!

Nice place and near to mosquito de lisboa for take and pray, delicious breakfast and dinner with a typical portugal menu.

Unhelpful staff and in my opinion scam artists. I had tried to make a reservation, received a message via booking that my card was not valid and that I had 24hours to use a different card. I was away that day and by the time I saw the mail 24hours had passed. I had no reservation in booking so decided to drive home on that day instead instead of staying the night. 2 days later a charge appears on my statement from novotel who apparently say fit to charge my according to them non valid card again to see if they can charge me for the room they led me to believe I did not have. Did not send a receipt, did not send a confirmation nothing just told me that I had no reservation and then charged me anyway then on the phone tells me that I should have somehow know this would happen.

Very nice hotel. It's a classy place.

Great hotel, staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet was fab, many options and till 11. A liitle out the way from tje centre attractions but metro very close by.

Very hot in room, conditioning system wasn't working well. I ask to open window and had to enjoy departing planes from airport. Hotel on their route. :). I can tell for sure last departure of the day is around 1 am. :). Food is ok, nothing special. Expensive breakfast. Staff is friendly. Despite hotel is no smoking I had some burned marks from cigarettes on the floor.

Good hotel for its restaurant, and rooms… The only problem is that it is a bit out of the historic center.

Nice hotel. However, the breakfasts are very boring. Absolutely no fish. Service is good. When you are in hotels of 5 stars, all local workers Hello and smile constantly. And here without glitter in.

Good Novotel with gym pool and ample places to sit to relax or not…
Very decent rooms especially on the 10th and 11th floors. I recommend. In addition if it rains perfectly correct restaurant with a very good home and a note moderate.

Good value for money and convenient location near Metro. Good restaurant formula at 16 euros 3 course. The staff is nice.

Nice establishment. Unfortunately, despite what we were told during the reservation, the staff did not master the French… little problem of comprehension: the time to do the formalities we parked right outside the hotel. The police came and dislodged us without trying to understand. No reaction from the hostess of the hotel to explain to us clearly where the parking was. Fortunately the rest of the stay went well: Nice family room, good breakfast. The pool is small.

The room was pretty tiny for a family and the restaurant a little limited. It is a passable stay for the price. It's easy enough to get to and from.

Nice and clean hotel; very friendly staff. Food and drinks are very good and I've got a beautiful room. One tip for the breakfast: please serve the cooked stuff HOT.

The hotel was ok. However the air conditioning is a real problem: a shot it is hot a shot it is cold. Breakfast was really good. The products are fresh and many lisbon specialties are also made on site. The hotel restaurant is a horror, the food is tasteless, infamous.
Plus, the servers are really incompetent. You have to wait a little over half an hour to be served and even if the dishes are ready, they continue to chat with each other.
The rooms were clean.
I advise you to look for a hotel other than this one. Because of its many flaws, but also because it is not ideally located.

Decent hotel and well placed a few steps from the subway station. Breakfast varied and delicious. The staff are smiling, available and competent. You can go there with your eyes closed!

Excellent hotel, the staff was corteous, helpful and very nice. We stayed here after our flight was delayed and they have a restaurant downstairs. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Bathroom was really nice as well with a rain shower head and full tub. Prices are not outrageous, but it's not the cheapest either. Would certainly pick again.

Functional. Room cold and noisy (flight noise, street, window barely insulated), bathroom is clean but shower/bathtub faucets are broken, breakfast buffet is amazingly good.

Hotel of the note chain, placed well logistically with tangential close to exit from the city by car and Metro stop to 5 min walk to go to centers.

Hotel Right Although some rooms need an urgent renovation, if you find good price it can be an interesting option.

Our room had the old and dirty carpets, the bathroom went bad smell, the sink was clogged and the walls with old paint.
We have to queue for breakfast.
Breakfast is complete. Friendly staff. The small areas for children are very pleasing.
One night we took the BUFFET dinner which comes out 39 euros per person and the food is really poor in variety and quality.

Negative points: Old room carpet dirty windows are not opening hot water is limited and takes really long time to come TV bad quality Service. If you ask for something you better go get it yourself : — We asked for lemon slices = 4€ — We asked for iron box they don't want to bring it to your room you have to go get it. Positive points : good Bed location lots of activities for kids.

Good hotel in quiet and well connected area.

The hotel is great and clean. The staff is very nice, specially in the Restaurant. We had dinner three times there and the meals were fantastic, Aldo the treatment by there staff. Definetely I recomend It!

Great place. Spacious room and bathroom, clean and comfortable bed but cheap management. … One small tube of shampoo for a couple!. Every morning we had to ask for more. At the bar, we ordered a smoothie they brought us a liquid watery mix. We learned that their mixer is broken for a month.

Good hotel in Lisbon. Nearby (5 min walk) to a Metro stop that leaves you in 3 or 4 stops in the center. Clean rooms with all the amenities. Good restaurant. Very full breakfasts.

Very well. A very comfortable place. The only "but" is the parking, which is a real waste. It has air conditioning ducts at the height of the head, very narrow parking spaces and the entrance is Asquerosita. A Little big cars are going to be a bit bad to get in, park and/or leave. But in favor you have to say that there is plenty of parking around the hotel. Otherwise the hotel is great.

I always love Novotel, very good rooms following their standard. However in this hotel I had many issues with the Wi-Fi, always unstable. They said it's normal and like this in all rooms. I ended up buying a 4g internet card to be able to do my work.

Overall a very good stay at Novotel Lisboa. Quite big rooms, well equipped and excellent breakfast. Only thing I missed was English newspapers and bathrobe & slippers. Tried the today's dinner package, price worthy and good.

Good experience pity that there is no corner for smokers neither terrace nor balcony.
It was a very nice room.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Cold breakfast choice was was good but the cooked food ingredients were of poor quality. Main reason for giving a low rating was the poor condition of the hotel. There were so many problems with the room due to wear and tear and poor maintenance. None of these individually were worth reporting as they did not affect our enjoyment of the stay but the overall shabbiness could only be rectified by major refurbishment. The hotel had the feeling of a poor quality budget accommodation.

Some long lines at reception, but as a club member, I got priority. It could be a better experience for others with more staff working on reception. Hotels forget their clients sometimes — with staff preoccupied with back-office excuses and shift change.
Strangely waiters do not see you waiting for a table and then do not understand that an aperitive is just that. Drink before eating and perhaps be offered the menu and suggestions. Not the best dining experience.

The hotel was everything you need to explore Lisbon and surround areas. The staff were friendly. The only annoying thing was everything came in twos in a triple room and we needed to keep asking for the third of everything. The breakfast was really nice, a lot to choose from. Very yummy.

The restaurant is a little small but it allowed us to discover the Super Restaurant the Mediterranean in front (and I think we have not lost in exchange). Parking is not suitable for family cars. On the other hand, room and breakfast impeccable.

The lobby of the hotel is nice and cozy, everything looks very nice and pleasant until breakfast time. A long line not acceptable for a four star hotel.

Hotel like all those in the chain, with strong point breakfast. Pity that to reach the Metro, in the air line very close, it is necessary to make the tour of the building through a light area and little visited in the evening. In the end we used Uber, which being in 4 is also more convenient.

We spent 5 nights in a 4 star hotel but away from a 4 star French. The room is cramped for 4. The carpet hole and in the bathroom various broken elements prove it. Otherwise we dined 2 times and when the entrance does not arrive at the same time as the main course it arrives after. Moreover, despite a large number of servers, the service is very slow and is more focused on the game than on the clientele. Fitness room with broken down appliance and empty water dispenser, swimming pool which opens to 9 instead of 8. A paid parking but cramped attention to scratches and quickly complete. Breakfast room too small.

This is a great hotel and highly recommend. It is family friendly. Staff are amazing and helpful. Convenient location to the subway.

Staff are courteous and professional, breakfast very good, great restaurant for dinner. The policy of the Novotel chain in favour of families is also appreciable.
Although the location of the hotel is not central, the proximity to the Metro allows easy transfer to the city centre.

— Wait + + to have the welcome drink. We felt like we were transparent… And when our choice was made (Fruit cocktail) : machine down!
— On arrival in the room: wide open door and open window.
— Evening Buffet: No refrigeration system for exposed foods (ice cubes or other)
-Surprising POINT and SOURCE of discontent: woke at 8:30 by the maid who knocks once at the door and immediately returns to the room!

First of all I was positively surprised for good options offered for families with small children. No need to book 2 roomes to lodge family of 4. Location is rather good, close to centre, hop-on-hop-off busses stop in front. Good breakfast, with the only but, breakfast-room gets very busy in the morning. Bathroom is big and bed comfortable.

Great service. Clean and tidy. Room and bathroom great. Would be good if traveling with children. Room service meal options limited which is a shame given hotel caters to travellers who like me mat arrive at 11pm and be exhausted.

Novotel Lisboa has a convenient location with reasonable distance to a metro station with the connection to downtown Lisboa. The building and the facilities appeared well maintained. Front desk was helpful and efficient. The room was decent size with reasonable closet space and generously sized bathroom with a bath tub. The bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi was easy to access and worked well with multiple devices. Buffet breakfast has good selection and quality of food and beverages.

According to arrived, leave the car in the parking and to the upload to the hall main, takes, a panda of English drunk giving the note in the Hall and nobody said nothing, is shooting by the soil e went with a dog, incredible, xq already it had paid q but out of there immediately, the relationship of 4 star, will be in the price, xq otherwise not be that.

People is very friendly and make you feel welcome, but the hotel needs an update urgently starting with the room and the air conditioning. You can park for free in from of the hotel from 8 pm to 8 am.

Good hotel for a city trip, good transport links by Metro and bus, very very good reception staff, aircraft noise is very distracting and you can not properly open unfortunately the window!

In line with our expectations. On the circuit of the line of the yellow nozzles (line double-decker tourist bus, with comments and stops at points of interest) even though eccentric, so quiet.
Restaurant satisfactory and no big surprise. OK service.

Rooms are in great condition and the staff was very kind and happy to help with information about the city. A bit far from the city centre, so there's no big buzz at any point of the day. It's well connected with underground and bus services.

The pool is good because there are not too many people but noisy aircraft passing just above.
Parking and costs € 12 part 24 hours.
Avoid the Yellow bus that stops at the foot of the hotel because he rarely respect slots morning. Prefer instead the Red bus also stops at the hotel.

Hotel super nice quiet location metro bus pr the yellow bus stop nearby (city tour) so ke aerobus from and to the airport just in front! Room super clean nice and well equipped staff. Breakfast around at will (self service) nice and super happy

Clean, quiet, very good breakfast. The perfect service. Close to el corte Inglés. Suitable for families, although it is apparently a the business hotel. It has a swimming pool.

Pleasant hotel. Connection to the Metro is connected well, but with a 15 minute walk.

Good hotel. Novotel, group Acorr chain hotels, its online, well, reception and breakfast very nice staff. Free Wi-Fi in the has limitation. The only downside, that be something far from the Centre, otherwise fine.

Or a parking area free in km to the round and the hotel charged € 12 per night for parking. In addition the price of breakfast (€11 / person / day) seems abusive.

Very good hotel, could need a window wash, a mite quiet ventilation system and also a English interface on the Wi-Fi. Good noise isolation blocks out sound of landing aircraft, you can barely hear it even if you see it directly above you. (Don't know how this is when wind direction changes hotel to be under take off direction. ).

We were a party of 20 people. Treated very well. Excellent cuisine. Maitre dear. Free Wi-fi. Cheap beer. Metro access to 500 mt. Sao sebastian. Restaurant with 16 euro you eat very well. A bit expensive breakfast but nobody says anything if you take away the stuff, sandwiches and more.

Up to two children in the same room, being four stars and the buffet breakfast per room; make it the best quality/price. Something away from the Center.

All as expected for a 4 *. Just 5 minutes from the PC. Spain, where Metro to downtown Lisbon
The only but is the taste of the Portuguese in the blue area. In any case we leave one day the car in the parking of the hotel (€11).
