4-Star Hotels in Azores4*

This hotel is so nice that I walked around Ponta Delgada feeling sorry for everyone who wasn’t staying there. My room was spotless and the space was stylish and serene.

The hotel, the location, and the Azores in general all exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with a group of 8 and we were all perfectly accommodated. Always a friendly face on staff.

I booked a spontaneous 7-day birthday trip to São Miguel with almost nothing planned, and choosing Nine Dots turned out to be the single best decision I made all week.

A 4-star hotel with truly 5-star service.
From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed.

The hosts were both very friendly and had plenty of suggestions of what to do in our down time. Breakfast was delicious and being able to enjoy it outside on the terrace was lovely.

Our stay at Bella Casa Bed & Breakfast was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip to São Miguel.

Best small hotel ever… I travelled w child and see how happy he was in photos but basically makes sense for anyone, any couple with taste. Restaurant and room service amazing.

This was the perfect oasis for our honeymoon retreat! Solar dos Cantos offers a charming atmosphere that is the perfect mix of modern and historic. Every space is perfectly thought out.

Fabulous place to stay, so much charm. Staff is fabulous and breakfast each morning was absolutely GREAT.

The charming house has been more than amazing. With our flight being canceled due to fog they were able to accommodate us last minute when almost all the hotels were full.

This is a lovely, well-kept place in a beautiful setting.

Really special and beautiful stay! The tent was very comfy and heating was available too.
Only the sunny rooftop terrace was not to use on the mainhouse due to maintenance.

Staying in Casa da Cidade was an amazing experience.

This review is long overdue. This bed & breakfast is the perfect example of why my wife and I prefer B&Bs to hotels.

Outstanding in every way. Staff are amazing (Especially Anna & reception team). Their advice made the holiday. Seaview rooms incredible, we could hear the ocean. Highly recommend.

Vinhas do Calhau is one of my husband and I's favorite places we've ever stayed —five stars without a doubt. The condo was stunning, with the best ocean views in the middle of vineyards.

We had a wonderful stay at the Delta Hotels Azores. The hotel is only about a year old, and our room was spacious, modern, very clean, with a nice sea view. The amenities are all well maintained.

We have stayed at Marriott Hotels throughout the United States, Europe and South America. But we have never experienced such a pleasant, accommodating and anxious to please group of employees.

Great location — 1 block from the old city gates and 1 blocks to the harbour/boardwalk. Rooms are nice: very comfortable beds, nice hot showers and all the amenities that you would expect.

The hotel was in a perfect location. There were five or six restaurants right on the street as well as a couple of coffee bars.
The staff not have been more accommodating.

No complaints. Great location to city center. Bar is great; Miguel is a wonderful bartender. Good breakfast buffet. Rooms are very nice.

Room are big, location is pretty good and close to some decent restaurants. It’s close to the pier so great for morning walk/run during sun rise.

LOVED IT! 10 minutes drive from the city Center. In a very quiet area with a beautiful view to the ocean. We took the Villa which was so big, spacious and had every thing we needed.

Great accomodation — New, modern and spaceous room. Well equipped shared kitchen and cozy community area. Service and breakfast was great! The infinity pool and Whirlpool were a real highlight.

The service at the bar is terrible.

Exceptional experience at Hotel Marina Atlantico, Ponta Delgada.

From the moment I got out of my taxi service was extraordinary!

From check-in to check-out the experience was excellent. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good.

It is a lovely, local hotel with pleasant, helpful staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious. It is very reasonable, quiet and offers two dine-in restaurants.

It’s only our second day at this hotel and we’re already very impressed with the staff. They are polite, helpful, and genuinely attentive.

The location was nice! As soon as you exit, there is a square with beautiful trees. Great service, delicious breakfasts, not noisy. There are a lot of interesting objects inside the house.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casa Campo São Francisco. Visiting in March, it was a very quiet time of year, and we slept exceptionally well.

Lovely hotel in the old, historical part of town. Centrally located facing a lovely park/plaza, nice roof with pool, small gym, good continental breakfast included, room was large & clean.

Perfect stay in a central location — walkable to main shops & restaurants. The service was great, parking was easy, clean rooms and we had a balcony overlooking the garden.

We stayed at the Vila Galé São Miguel Hotel and had an excellent experience from start to finish.

5-10 minute walking distance to most key locations of downtown historic Sao Miguel.
The environment is warm, inviting and calming transporting into past yet offering modern amenities.

I honestly can't understand how this hotel has any negative reviews because my experience was exceptional from start to finish.

We had a fabulous stay here. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and helpful (especially Alex at the front desk — he was incredibly kind), and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

We had a wonderful 9 night stay here. The staff throughout the hotel starting at the front desk are helpful, efficient and so easy to deal with.

We spent a wonderful 7 nights at this hotel in January. It was perfectly located in the centre, without being noisy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and very clean.

A pleasant hotel right in the centre. We loved the wood finish as a decoration and flooring in the rooms. No restaurant for the time being we were told.

Great experience. The place is hardly super luxurious but it's clean, fairly modern, and well located on a relatively quiet street.

Ideal hotel with an amazing balcony view. The breakfast offers a huge variety of delicious options. The hotel has two pools (one indoor and one outdoor), as well as a jacuzzi.

Good and convenient location near the old town of Ponta Delgada. Good starting point for activities in the western part of the island (e. G. Caldeira of Sete Cidades).

Great location and lovely staff. Ana at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. She gave us a lot of great information along the way.

This is a very convenient hotel downtown, walkable to lots of stuff. The staff is very helpful, the parking is convenient (although not free), the room was clean and nice.
