Azul Singular

Azul Singular is a one of a kind get away that you should try if you want something different and unique. We stayed in the yuret and really enjoyed the uniqueness of it. The skylight at night with the fire going inside was tranquil and memorable. The queen bed was very comfortable. But the breakfast basket every morning was full of local cheeses, yogurt, breads, fruit and more along with coffee and fresh orange juice. Pedro was extremely accommodating and help us with our stay. If you get an opportunity to stay here you will not regret it.

Wow, it's a small paradise!
The cottages are super cozy and you're in the middle of the "jungle", so every cottage is secluded and you have your privacy. There is a very nicely decorated common area though, if you want to meet other people.
We stayed in February at around the coldest days of the year and the little furnace (a modern one with pellets, so no need to lit a fire yourself, no smoke, etc. ) was direly needed but heated up the cottage nicely.
The daily breakfast in a basket is amazing, although the bread and especially the croissants are a bit plane (but I guess that's a general Azorean "problem").
The owner is super friendly and helpful!
The only downside while staying there is, that when it's stormy outside during night (and it often gets stormy during this time of the year) you will sleep very badly because it's so loud and it feels like the whole cottage is going to get blown away (but it's actually very stable, so no worries).

We stayed 3 nights and Everything was perfect! The yurt with the outdoor kitchen and bathroom was amazing and private since you are in your own peace of lush forest! a wonderful breakfest basket with local food is delivered every morning.
The hosts are always available and very helpful and nice.
We definately recommend.

Little paradise on Faial, very comfortable, spacious and clean tents with privacy right in a jungle-like garden. Super friendly hosts, very nice breakfeast, not far away from the capital Horta (10 min). Car is highly recommened, but taxi also works. Could not have found a better place to stay on Faial. Thanks for the amazing experience!

Really beautiful place to spend a vacation. It is secluded in a beautiful plantation. Very nature oriented. Whereas is near everything, you do need a car. The owners are wonderful and very proud of the beautiful place they have created! Highly recommend it!

Cozy concept, very roomy, well equipped and with a great breakfast service. May be one of the best stays of the islands. Had a great time there, maybe the cow and dog sounds in the vicinity are a bit much for some but aside from that it was very serene.

This is a great location for those who love the outdoors while appreciating a solid roof over your head whilst sleeping. The tents are really well proportioned, well equipped and very clean. Despite there being quite a few others not too far away, it still feels very private due to the density of the trees around. Loved our stay there, would definitely return!

I'm so glad we stayed here as it was such an amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful with so much large plant life it feel like a jungle. There is a lot of privacy between all of the units. The beds and pillows were so comfy and the complementary breakfast where one can choose their items for the next day is so nicely done. Our room had a lot of space and an entire kitchen with all the utensils, knifes, bowls, cups, fridge, etc. Don't want yo say too much spoil your experience — if you are staying in Faial this is the place stay, hopefully your lucky enough and they have room.

Staying in Pedro and Antonia’s place was an amazing experience!
We stayed in an amazing tent, immersed in a kind of jungle forest. No noise, no lights, just the beautiful sound of nature.
Pedro and Antonia are amazing guests, the breakfast was everyday delicious and they are super friendly and kind.

Can’t recommend Azul Singular more! A unique, comfortable, fun experience <10 minutes from downtown Horta. Textbook glamping. Strongly recommend for couples visiting Faial.
🏕️ Comfortable, well appointed cabins. Stocked kitchens and linens included.
2️⃣ Cabins are perfect for couples. Not much privacy inside so if traveling with a friends be sure you’re very close (or you will be when you check out! ).
🥐 The morning breakfast baskets delivered to your tent are fantastic! Customizeable after night 1. A+ perk!
😀 Pedro and his team are warm and welcoming.
🚲 Great amenities (bikes for rent) and common spaces (rooftop terrace, coffee bar).

Amazing experience. We had a setback when we arrived but it was all resolved promptly by the owner. Pedro was spectacular and very helpful.
The cabins are spectacular the amazing surrounding space. It was really spectacular.
I recommend it and we'll come back ❤️❤️
