Hostel Procyon is a friendly place to stay in Ponta Delgada. The staff were welcoming and full of great local tips. The rooms are comfortable, and the common areas have a creative, relaxed vibe.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel. The cleanliness, bedding, and location were impeccable. The breakfast was also very good, with a homemade cake every day.

Good and convenient location near the old town of Ponta Delgada. Good starting point for activities in the western part of the island (e. G. Caldeira of Sete Cidades).

Nice new hotel. Very conveniently located to all Ponta Delgada and Sao Miguel activities. Only about 10 minutes from the airport. The staff was great.

This is a perfect place to stay in Ponta Delgada. You wouldn’t expect this level of service from a 3-star hotel. The rooms are comfortable, and room service was great.

This is a very convenient hotel downtown, walkable to lots of stuff. The staff is very helpful, the parking is convenient (although not free), the room was clean and nice.

Paulo the owner is literally AMAZING! He accommodated me and my friend for a last minute stay at Passal Hostel since our flights got cancelled.

I was so happy to stay at this hostel location. Paulo (the owner) was absolutely amazing with both his services and wonderful personality. Not many host will go above and beyond as he did.

Welcoming and clean rooms. Great breakfast service, overall great experience! Definitely worth getting the ocean view room. We felt great, safe and welcomed.

We were fortunate to get to stay at Garoupas Inn for 2 weeks, and we wish we had stayed for all 3 of the weeks we were in Sao Miguel. We cannot say enough about the incredible owners and staff.

We had 6 nights at Casa das Arcados and would definitely stay there again.

The staff here was SO incredibly helpful.
I hadn't slept for a long time and they let me check in early so I could take a nap and a much needed shower to help fight jetlag.

Great hostel! We were able to check in a couple of hours early and the room was spacious and clean.

This is a hostel so you are on your own. You are given combinations to the entrance door and to your room door. The bedrooms are cleaned with fresh bath towels and fresh linens for the beds.

Staff were great and very helpful and spoke great English, very tourist friendly.
Breakfast had a lot of options and was delicious.

Cheapest option in town (could be 5-10€ cheaper IMO), good location 5mins walk from center, beautiful building makes you feel like you're in a monastery and the park right next to it is magical.

A very well-located option for those travelling on a budget. Keep in mind that this is a hostel and not a hotel, so do not expect hotel standards.

Location is good for buses! Check buses with Google maps around the island, you'll find out the hostel meets your expectations in this matter. Stuff very helpful and knowledgeable.

We stayed in private room. The room was really clean and nice. Unfortunately the kitchen didn’t meet my expectations… the pans were all burnt.

Amazing place. Very affordable if booked in advance and totally worth its price. The rooms and shared areas are perfectly clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast.

The staff was very kind and they showed us places to visit in the island, a place to park the car, as well as a really nice choice (if not the best) to dinner downtown.

My husband and I spent close to a week in this beautiful resort style hotel and the great reviews are right on point.

Comfortable hostel in the very middle of the city. There are family rooms, 3 toilets, 3 with shower. Very clean place. There is huge kitchen, fully equiped.

Very nice and welcoming hosts. Clean in my experience. Excellent location. Only downfall, & a big one for me personally, is the Wi-Fi speed.

This was a great place to stay, my wife and I were there last week from 3/2 — 3/8 and we loved it. Rooms were large, service was awesome, very clean and very nice management that were willing to help

Great accomodation, exceptional service with very prompt staff that actually speaks good English (which is a rare thing in Sao Miguel). Beautiful, clean rooms, high comfort.

1st day here the rooms are nice and air con is good.
Bedroom is big enough for us 2 and there is a nice shared living room and kitchen area parking nearby is a bit tricky but not a problem.

Everything 5/5, rooms, communication, location for backpacker.
