Had an amazing stay at Hotel da Rocha. Beautiful (and spotlessly clean) hotel in perfect location right across from the beach. Lovely friendly staff (particularly in the restaurant) where they serve a FAB breakfast and also a delicious buffet in the evening (different theme every evening), which is great value at €20 for three courses. Loads to choose from and deserts which are home made definitely deserve a special mention. I hope to return next year with more family members and I am so glad I chose to stay here on this visit.

It has everything a Hotel must have to make the passenger feel comfortable, at ease and very well taken care of.

Beautiful place to relax and get the Sun. We stayed for 7days. Fantastic hotel clean and modern. Everyone so helpful and friendly would come back and stay again. Breakfast was a mixture of great food no matter what you want was there. Apartments our very roomy and clean. If your looking for money for value stay here. Across the road to golden sands beach. Lots of places to eat and drink. A must do is a boat trip to the caves.

Great hotel centrally located. Breakfasts was a feast every day — vast selection to choose from. Staff attentive and charming willing to go make stay as enjoyable as possible. We stayed celebrating our wedding anniversary The hotel gave us a bottle of sparkling wine and a bowl of fruit. Would recommend this hotel.

Sehrschöne hotel 100mtr to the beach.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel. We stayed in early Jan 2018 when it was fairly quiet and were given a free upgrade to a nicer suite. Room was good with everything we needed and a great balcony. Only negative was TVs a bit small however there were plenty English movies and shows to keep us entertained. Breakfast was good — lovely dining hall with a fair selection of foods. Swimming pool is fairly small — you're better off going to the beach for a swim which is literally a 2 minutes walk. The weather is okay this time of year. It rained once but the next day it was beautiful and felt like 20°C even though the weather forecast only said 12°C The local area is nice, I'd recommend taking walks both left and right, along the road and the beach to see which shops and restaurants take° your fancy. I would highly recommend the two doner kebab shops a 5 minute walk, right of the hotel where you can get a meal for €5-7. There is also a decent smoothie and juice bar the same way. Local shopping mall is good too As there is no pool table at the hotel we went next door to Jupiter to play there for €5 euros per hour. Only other thing I would recommend is contacting the hotel prior to booking via third parties to see if they can beat the price you received as this was advised upon our departure.

Nice staff.
The rooms are very modern and large.
However, in February it was far too cold in the room — heating only works when the room card is plugged — so it had every time we came into the room 14 degrees. Because the heating is very weak, heating up takes very long.
The showers are impossible — the hot water constantly changes between hot/cold and a lot/little water. We have really scalded ourselves a few times on the suddenly coming hot water!

Great value for money, very good location right on the beach and a brilliant breakfast buffet. With the side balconies you have a very nice sea view. The rooms are modern and very well equipped. The pool at the hotel is also great. Gladly again.

After we had a total clean-up at Solmonte, the Hotel da Rocha comes to us like paradise!
The sentence: "There is no! ", there is no! The rooms are very appealing, clean and have high standard. The beds have very good lying comfort. Our room had a huge double bed and for our son a comfortable leather sleeper sofa. Furthermore, the room had two TV sets equipped with ARD and ZDF. There is a large closet wall with illuminated mirrors. All lights can be steered from the bed. The bathroom is clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast and dinner buffet is outstanding. The pool is well maintained and large enough. The gym is equipped with 2 treadmills of a Nordic walking trainer, a Rastrainer us a weight bench. All in all, the whole hotel is a well functioning system. Which from the staff to a sympathetic life we awaken.
Great praise to the kitchen the service and the reception, which perfectly with more than six languages makes the guests ' life in the hotel so easy. Thank you!
