I hope I can do this justice.
You need to be brave to leave the protected bubble you've lived in, and travel, to a different time and place.

This is a relaxed and welcoming hostel where you can stay in the house or outside in bamboo huts. It feels like you're staying at someone's home. It's very clean and well maintained.

We are now here for the third time. Every time we return to Cebu before heading off to another island, we come back for 1 or 2 days. It’s always clean and very friendly.

The Hostel is affordable and good for stay providing all the basic amenities for a good and peaceful stay required.

The beautiful ladies running it are very kind and helpful, rooms are acceptable with very good AC. Location right next to a shopping centre and far enough from the main town so not too busy.

I have no clue where the bad reviews are coming from. We have been traveling through South East Asia for 5 months now and this is the best hospitality we have had. The woman is super friendly.

I had a pleasant stay here. Everything is clean, the staff are friendly and there is water provided. 10/10.

The hotel may be small, but it’s well-planned and comfortable. What makes it truly special is Manong—the humble and kind old man who looks after tenants with genuine hospitality.

Room was clean (except for the glass door… which was quite dirty, which unfortunately is a personal no no of mine and honestly is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars.

Hostel was pretty much worth the price. And the guided city tour by Ms. Takako Ohata was just amazing and kind.

Staff is very friendly and helpful if you have questions or are looking for recommendations about the surrounding area.
They also have tours you can book and other hostel events!

Accessible location in a quiet lane, off the main road, not too far from the airport.
I stayed for three nights spread over a week. Initially for one night at a room on the ground level.

We had an excellent stay at this accommodation. Although we booked late while on the road, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating.

I love the location of the property. It's very close to Robinsons N Tacloban yet very peaceful inside of the property compound. The staffs are very helpful too.

Very helpful staff, they are able to help with services beyond accomodation, such as transfers, bike rental, etc.

Loved my stay at Hangover Hostel! Super friendly staff, clean rooms, and a great atmosphere for meeting other travelers. The location was perfect, and everything felt safe and welcoming.

This is my go-to hostel in Dumaguete. Very accessible and just a few kilometers away from the Dumaguete port.

Place is in a good location, very nice cr and shower, it just hard for me to close. Cr is not in the room we stayed at, there is no mirror inside too, the room has veranda though so it is quite nice.

Great value for money! Of the seven hotels I stayed in across Cebu and Dumaguete, this one offered the best overall value.

Honestly, great value for the price. The beds and pillows are so comfy and the breakfast was great. Good Wi-Fi and location. A little bit noisy tbh but with my earplugs it was fine.

Very nice hostel, well located just near the sardine run. Rooms are good and the global mood is very cozy with a nice bar area.

One of my favourite places I stayed at in the Philippines, the rooms were clean and modern. The people I met there were amazing and the Hosts were exceptional.

Room's fine and aircon works good. Not so bad for the shared bathroom.

My home whenever I'm in Cebu! Perfect for working, the space is just right, the bed’s comfy, and they have a gym and pool (available for an additional fee). It’s more than good enough for me!

Nestled within the Banilad Area, it is close to Banilad Town Center and Country Mall. It is very safe and secure as entrance to the building needs the key card of the room where you are staying.

The Dormitel exceeded all my expectations. The staff are exceptionally kind, helpful, and accommodating—truly the kind of service you would expect from a high-end hotel.

Clean rooms, very good for barkada and family stays. Budget hotel but complete in toiletries, coffee and water. Oh yeah, love the scent of the lotion.

The dorm room was open to the common area (covered only by curtains), so all the noises and light had easy acces to the beds.

Had a great stay at Murals Hostel—perfect for low-budget solo travelers! Stayed for a night. Booking online helped me get a good discount too.

If you’re looking for a budget place to stay, Murals is perfect. It has a great location, and the service is excellent. The staff are very accommodating.

What a lovely hostel.

I have not stayed in this hostels however the quiz night that they put on every Thursday are good fun. You get a free drink 8-830 and then the quiz night starts.
