The hostel was clean, efficient, and comfortable. It was actually cleaner than many European hostels and Philippine hotels I have visited.

Stayed one night at Cebu Backpackers Hostel and had a great overall experience. The hostel is small and cozy.

We celebrated our son’s baptism at Papabo Backpackers and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Honestly one of the better hostels I've ever stayed at. The capsule design with under bed storage leads to a very private stay unlike other hostel setups I've been too.

It is our first time in Lapu Lapu Cebu the location is fair and difficult to pin. But, the overall experience was great!

The first time you go to this location, you will think that you are lost, keep going and it will be obvious when you arrived. Staff are super friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay!

I had a great time at Amigos. It is conveniently located (walking distance of dive centers), the area is quiet, the room very clean and the bed really comfy.

Great value for money. The manager Bong is extremely helpful and responsive.

We stayed in the bunk bed room, and overall it was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the air conditioning at night.

We stayed on April mid and quite hot summer. There were not many guests, and the kitchen and bar were mostly empty in our stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at Bernie’s, from the moment we walked in we felt welcome and truly at home. Janice, Bernie and the hostel staff we great and there if you needed anything.

I loved it and I am so sad that we had to leave 😢 unfortunately we couldn’t extend because they were booked out.
Bernie and his wife are amazing, warm and lovely people.

Great accommodation. Lovely and helpful team. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Clean rooms, comfortable beds in the dorm. Curtains for privacy. Fair prices.

Had a great stay at Ohlala hostel! It has a homey vibe to it with seating to hang out with other travelers both inside and in front of the hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Located inside Lomi Spa, this hostel had a mixed type dormitory room.

My new go-to hostel in Cebu! It’s cheap but the facilities and service are not cheap.
1. They’ll welcome you with a drink. Very nice since I was exhausted.
2. The room is not crowded, only 4 per room.

Bridge and Jojo (sorry about the spelling) were amazing hosts! Can't rate them highly enough. Stayed in the dorm and yes a bit run down but beds comfortable and had a good sleep.

The staff is amazing and if you want to see whale sharks, this is the plane to stay. Get to bed early or you won't get much sleep. Best price of anyplace.

We stayed in the double private room, service was great they helped us with laundry, arranging activities and any kind of question. The room was very clean and cozy and the Wi-Fi connection was great.

AC works really good and also the internet was very good.

Stayed here every time I go to Dumaguete (3x already), around a week each time.
Place is along the main road so easy to get around, but still quiet enough to sleep properly.

Perfect Luggage Storage.
​If you just arrived from Siquijor and want to explore Dumaguete hands-free, I highly recommend depositing your bags here. The transaction was incredibly fast and hassle-free.

Room's fine and aircon works good. Not so bad for the shared bathroom.

My honest opinion?
I have been in 1000 of different hostels in over 50 countries and honestly Nacho Hostel is one of the top of the world.
It is:
+ cheap.
+ social.
+ clean everywhere.

Really nice place to stay. Clean rooms and super friendly staff. There's a swimming pool, pool table and hot water in the rooms.

I wish there was soap provided. All in all it was pretty good for the price, they have hot shower and the bedding is pretty decent. The room is clean and spacious.

Had an overnight stay here with my friends. We booked 2 rooms and we've had a great stay. The staffs are accommodating plus the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The place is also peaceful and safe.

This is a great place to stay if you'll be spending most of your time roaming about. It's located in a not-so busy street with a lot of good places to eat nearby.

Great value for money! The room was clean, there were plenty of pillows, and the CR was very clean, which I really appreciated. I had a comfortable stay.

The staff is very professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed.  
The diving is superb, and the guides are incredibly good at spotting stuff.

We had an amazing time with the crew of AivyMaes Divers! The day we went to Apo island the sun was out and the water clear. The sea was a bit rough but it made the adventure even more adventurous!

You need to be brave to leave the protected bubble you've lived in, and travel, to a different time and place.

This is a relaxed and welcoming hostel where you can stay in the house or outside in bamboo huts. It feels like you're staying at someone's home. It's very clean and well maintained.

We are now here for the third time. Every time we return to Cebu before heading off to another island, we come back for 1 or 2 days. It’s always clean and very friendly.

The Hostel is affordable and good for stay providing all the basic amenities for a good and peaceful stay required.

The beautiful ladies running it are very kind and helpful, rooms are acceptable with very good AC. Location right next to a shopping centre and far enough from the main town so not too busy.

I have no clue where the bad reviews are coming from. We have been traveling through South East Asia for 5 months now and this is the best hospitality we have had. The woman is super friendly.

I had a pleasant stay here. Everything is clean, the staff are friendly and there is water provided. 10/10.

The hotel may be small, but it’s well-planned and comfortable. What makes it truly special is Manong—the humble and kind old man who looks after tenants with genuine hospitality.

Room was clean (except for the glass door… which was quite dirty, which unfortunately is a personal no no of mine and honestly is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars.

Very nice family run hotel.

👍 I really like the design of this place! It has a industrial boho feel, lots of cool details and the filipino staff were super friendly. The frenchie is SO cute and playful too!
