Wow a place to remember and unique, surrounded by the water and mangroves, very peaceful place with very great food and new wooden cottages and dormitories, kayak and paddle boards activities,

We spent two nights in the dorms here and had such a wonderful stay.

Most amazing hostel, beds are comfy, showers are great and also a separate locker room! Kyle, Jane and Pearl made our stay so special with their welcomes and daily chats.

This hostel is by far one of the best I have ever stayed at!
The facilities are wonderful, and everything is so well thought out: from the comfortable bed and two pillows to the lights and plugs in

I can’t imagine finding a better place to stay in Moalboal. The staff were all incredible! So friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! We stayed for over a week and Bernie was so incredibly kind. We enjoyed the calm environment and being able to use the kitchen to make breakfast.

Had a great stay at Ohlala hostel! It has a homey vibe to it with seating to hang out with other travelers both inside and in front of the hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Lovely and very comfortable place to stay. AC was working properly, showers and other areas super clean.

They have a fixed schedule of free shuttle from the beach and 7-11 which is very convenient. Staffs are friendly and nice. We stayed here for four nights and the dogs are cute.

The best hostel to stay at in Moalboal! New hostel with clean and nice rooms. Great aircon and comfy beds. The best pool and swim up bar. Staff around 24/7 so you feel safe when you return home.

Very good hostel. Really enjoyed my time here. Only annoying thing is no plugs in the beds but not too much off a big deal.

Stunning space, hammocks and swings, like a mini wellness resort with cute doggos. Really lovely staff, great location next to the beach, free breakie which is a bonus!

We stayed in the double private room, service was great they helped us with laundry, arranging activities and any kind of question. The room was very clean and cozy and the Wi-Fi connection was great.

The hotel may be small, but it’s well-planned and comfortable. What makes it truly special is Manong—the humble and kind old man who looks after tenants with genuine hospitality.

My new go-to hostel in Cebu! It’s cheap but the facilities and service are not cheap.
1. They’ll welcome you with a drink. Very nice since I was exhausted.
2. The room is not crowded, only 4 per room.

Fantastic experience. They arranged for somebody to be at the reception in the middle of night (3am) because my flight got in so late. Great service, nice rooms, clean bathroom.

As a lot of people mentioned, this place is perfect for whale shark watching but the real icing on the cake are the people who run it. Mama Zeny and her son and nephews are the sweetest people,

I recently stayed at Shejoje Poshtel Hostel in Cebu City and found it to be a well-positioned, solid choice for travellers on a budget. Key observations:

Great value for money! Of the seven hotels I stayed in across Cebu and Dumaguete, this one offered the best overall value.

A very convenient place to stay in the city. We were not informed, though, that we should have requested for airport transfer a day before our flight.

The vibe of this place is so chill! Great accommodations if you want to start your day with a stretch since they have a yoga studio in the hostel.

Love Eia by Dawata as a space to explore the city. More than just a place to stay, it really celebrates the feeling of community. Plus the common areas are just too pretty.

The beautiful ladies running it are very kind and helpful, rooms are acceptable with very good AC. Location right next to a shopping centre and far enough from the main town so not too busy.

I have no clue where the bad reviews are coming from. We have been traveling through South East Asia for 5 months now and this is the best hospitality we have had. The woman is super friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at BlueWaves Hostel and Villa. The place was clean, comfortable, and had a very relaxing vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better.

Location is great. Rooms are basic but everything you need is there. Breakfast was really great!

Very clean and comfortable. Apparently there are two types of rooms shared bathroom and bathroom included. For an overnight stay is a great value!

The hostel was clean, efficient, and comfortable. It was actually cleaner than many European hostels and Philippine hotels I have visited.

I had an excellent stay at Crazy Bear’s Hostel, and it exceeded my expectations in every way.

Loved our stay at Crazy Bears! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The bar events are really fun, particularly enjoyed the giant jenga drinking game!

Honestly one of the better hostels I've ever stayed at. The capsule design with under bed storage leads to a very private stay unlike other hostel setups I've been too.

Hostle itself is great, and staff and owners very nice! we got unlucky with the older dorm.

You need to be brave to leave the protected bubble you've lived in, and travel, to a different time and place.

This is a relaxed and welcoming hostel where you can stay in the house or outside in bamboo huts. It feels like you're staying at someone's home. It's very clean and well maintained.
