The room is very comfortable enough to stay because it is very clean and affordable. The hotel resort employees are very accommodating and friendly. The place is in front of the market, whenever you are very hungry. You can eat immediately and buy something to fill your hungry stomach. The local people are very friendly whenever you are lost. They are very approachable. I wish to come back next time to stay in this hotel with Giuseppe. 5 stars.

Nice room but not really good power supply. It's around 5 minus away from the beach. Good price.

There were flies that entered the resort room but I think that is normal because Malapascua has flies almost everywhere. The showering facilities were meh and there was a weird smell when the water was turned on. Apart from that the water pressure is small.

In this hotel we stay the second year. The rooms are very clean … cleaning on request. The territory is beautiful, comfortable. There is Wi-Fi. At retsepshene there is a cooler with water. Next to the hotel there is a market and small restaurants with local cuisine. Last year we lost a gold necklace and thought that we lost at the airport. And on arrival at the hotel we got it back … it turns out we left it in hotel.

Staying here currently and it is really Nice! Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi working good, people are very friendly and helpful. Can not complain for the price we played! 5 min walk to the beach. Love it!

Large rooms, pretty new, Ac is working fine and rest rooms are clean. Its right across the central market. However no porter service to help you with your luggages. Downside is there are a lot of flies in the area. But I think its a general problem of whole malapasqua island.

As backpackers we paid a little more than we wanted to here but everywhere on Malapascua is expensive and it was worth it for an AC room. The owners were very friendly and helped us out with laundry and getting around the island. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located right in front of the main market and you can get delicious local food there, we ate there almost every night. It's about 5 minutes from the closest beach but wasn't problem.

Getting there is complicated because it is little signposted, not especially near the beach, in the midst of a village of local people.
They inform you just do checkin that do not clean the rooms if not requested. In addition, we requested a clean towel (without asking to clean the entire room) and did not "agree".
They are not very friendly with card payment in advance, and they can try to make you the mess by saying that they do not manage that and that you pay them and ask for the return to the online service.
The room itself is not bad though as in the whole island, the water pressure from the shower is very low. Also, not having ropes/hangers for wet clothes on the balcony is not very well thought out considering the sea tourism.
In the local village where it is located, the locals are very fond of karaoke, they have a few machines and they sing at full volume until dawn.

My family stayed there for 2 days and 2 nights. The place is generally clean. The staff are very accommodating. Grace, the front desk clerk attended to our needs well. You can get enough rest after a day's swimming & island tours since the place is really very quiet. Unlike most resorts located along the beach line where it can really get noisy at night. To the nearest beach line, it will only take you around 5 minutes walk (not really a bother to me). It allows me to burn my calories. Plus the Wi-Fi signal is good and it's located adjacent to the "taboan" where you can choose meals. I like their barbecue evening parties. I recommend this place for those who are looking for a bed and breakfast. I would not compare this place though with the expensive ones because the place is not a luxury resort, just enough for the budget travelers.

Cute little resort very near to the market place. You can buy cheap food and fruits from across the street. The rooms are small but comfy and they provide AC and hot water. We didn't spend much time there as we were diving all day, but the staff has been accommodating and nice.

The new house is good, but I finally ordered the old house, to sell the kind, so it does not feel good.

Location near the island market, easy to eat. Personally feel that the price is expensive, not too many resorts feel.

Pros: rooms are very clean, nice bed, with hot water, friendly staff Cons: less than 10 min walk to the main beach and it's dark at night. Flooded when it rains (we came in July which is the rainy season in the ph) Overall: very good!

The starlight resort was amazing. The owner was very lovely and helpful! Very friendly staff :) The rooms are very nice and clean. We had a wonderful time here! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the resort last Christmas holidays for 3 days and 2 nights. The rooms are reasonably-priced, clean and spacious with fast Wi-Fi access. The staff are very approachable and you can literally request any service from them in any means possible. The garden and lawn are well-lit during the night and regularly cleaned. The resort is about 5 minutes away from the beach front and they only serve breakfasts but it don't matter since it's very near the restaurants and you can also have a nice walk to and fro. Lastly, I left my Powerbank when I checked out and guess what, Ms. Julie personally went to Cebu City and handed me my Powerbank after a few days which suprised me most about the quality of their customer service. I highly recommend this resort and will gladly return there when I visit Malapascua Island again. Five stars out of five.

I'd recomment Malapascua Starlight. Its not a beachfront property but the room is very cozy and clean. The room has a sofa and a ref so even if you guys are more than 4 I think you can fit it here. Granite tiles and walls also add to the cleanliness of the room. After swimming, you can go to the veranda where you guys can dry off first beforeing going inside. Just a Fair warning, the ref has an additional charge of P200 and if you use a credit card to pay for the room, they add an additional 5%.

When we arrived I immediately felt like I was at home. Sandy was more than happy to help us in any way possible and make our stay on the island the best possible. It's a close enough walk to the beach but far enough to have a quiet place when you need it. We can't thank the staff here enough. They went out of their way to arrange a private massage for us and do our laundry. Leaving after three days, we definitely left gaining a great new friend and a place to call home on the island.
