We didn't like this place and had to find other accommodations after one night. On the plus side its definitely the cheapest place to stay on Malapascua and the staff were very friendly. When we arrived we were told that they won't turn the AC on unless there are more than 6 people in the room and it is crazy hot on the island so this was very bad news. The hostel common area has sand floor so naturally it gets all over the rooms. The showers were luke warm and the water was very salty so you don't really feel clean afterwards. We've stayed at a lot of rustic places but I wouldn't have been able to stay here for more than 1 night.

We had an amazing time at the budget inn. The rooms are good, clean and tidy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They prepared a some specials every night, like free fried noodles, free rum coke, movies, etc. Check out this place it's definitely worth a visit when you are traveling on a budget.

Was a great hostel to stay at. The staff there are extremely nice and helpful. They showed me around and arranged my transport to the Hostel. The hostel itself is clean. As clean as one can be on a Sandy island. The atmosphere is great as is the location. One thing to warn are the showers. I'm not sure if there was no hot water or if I just didn't know how to turn three hour water on. Other than that my stay was great!

Had an amazing stay in budget inn! It's not the cleanest hostel but the staff makes all the difference! I was suffering from cold during my stay and they made me ginger tea every morning and before bedtime! Especially big thank to Jojo! He even guided me to the main beach road from hostel on my first night there, I was completely lost when I first arrived! Would recommend to stay!

The rooms are clean and although the shared bathrooms are nothing of the other world (only cold water) they are cleaning house two by three! Staff super attentive in everything and at night always organize something different to do (cinema, karaoke…) The situation is not idyllic but in Malapascua is easy to walk anywhere. I would definitely go back to Malapascua:)

To call it one star ia to high. Centipedes every where an the pics are not the place. We booked at about 40 usd a month big mistake. Dont book ahead of time other people got nice bungelows else where for 700 pesos a night. Basically booking online is the screw a foriegner price and no atm on island.

I think the place is really cheap. Very good deal for our group of 10 people. As long as you are willing to walk to the shore, the price is pretty fair for budget travellers.

Good Services. An affordable accomadation.

Clean bathrooms. Slow Wi-Fi. Dorm isn't as nice as photos make it look, but you get a solid night of sleep there. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Aircon is really cold at night.

Had a nice stay in the budget, super staff, cool atmosphere and for the evening design is usually also catered whether with dinner or karaoke and drinks.

The hostel is good in relation price-quality. Wifi only in the common area. The rooms are small and no locker. The air conditioning will turn on only at night. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Very nice and comfortable hostel, the staff is super friendly and very helpful. The beds are nice and clean. Bathrooms are clean and they have 4 separate bathrooms which is convenient. I had so much expectations from this hostel because of its very good reviews. But most of it was a disappointment. The kitchen could definitely use some cleaning! And they tend to shut down the ACs by 1am when there are very few guests just to conserve electricity. That didn't sit well with me because the rooms get too hit even in the wee hours. It really pains me to give this place an average rating despite Jojo being such a nice host! Very accommodating and he even gave us free drinks!

Malapascua Budget Inn is not just best for backpackers but its also best for those who travel with budget in mind.

I stayed in this budget hostel and didn't expect too much. It's a new hostel in Malapascua Island which is close to the market and beach. What I love about the hostel is their staff most especially the owner who's very hospitable to the guests. I meet new friends in the Island because of the hotel. They have a chill area with good taste of music and cold beer being offered. So, if you are looking for a cheap accommodation and meet new friends visit this hostel. I can't wait to be back and stay with them.
