CheRi Backpackers Hostel

Very affordable place yet very good service. Clean and in a central position.
The host was very caring and helped in many ways my stay.
Not very social hostel, a bit due to people and maybe a better "common area" would help.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The room was clean and the owner was exceptionally accommodating. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and budget friendly. ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here in Moalboal. The host was incredibly welcoming, always happy to chat about life in the Philippines and provide suggestions and she kept the place very tidy. The rooms were incredibly comfy, with the beds soft and curtains available, providing comfort and security. In addition, the location is well placed away from the hustle and bustle of Panagsama Beach, yet in close walking distance to the beach, and an extended 35 minute walk from Moalboal Town. Thanks for a great stay!

My family and I haad a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure all of our needs were met. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to both the beach and a variety of restaurants and activities. If you're looking for a place that's both convenient and welcoming, this is a great option!

You get what you pay for. We booked a simple private room, and was just happy to have a private bathroom and AC. However it seems like the cleaning isn't the best as we had cockroaches coming into our room multiple times through large cracks under the door and AC unit. We had to fill the cracks it with toilet paper and empty bags. When killing the cockroaches I noticed that under the bed was extremely dusty, and a few dead insects which probably attracted them.
Wifi is decent depending on how close you are to the router (70 mbs down when standing by the router, 10-15 in the room during the day), although it was a little spotty in our room at times.
Workers are friendly, free black coffee, and the water is cold which is great.

I stayed here for one night and it was very accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice a cool after a hot day. The staff is very nice also. I left an item of mine behind and they were ready with it when I returned to get it. Very close to the beach and wonderful nightlife right out of the front door. 10/10 recommend.

This was the perfect spot for us. The hosts were so kind and so accommodating. Everything was absolutely perfect. Very close to restaurants and only a 7 min walk from the beach, a straight shot. Very cute sitting area outside with darts. 10/10 recommend! We loved it here. The private room was great for my friend and I. 😇 if you’re in the area, this is a great hostel 🥰

My stay at Cheri Backpackers Hostel is one for the books! I enjoyed my little backpacking journey in Moalboal. I went solo but I explored the town with other backpackers from different parts of the world (who all came solo too! ) who stayed at Cheri's too! Recommended for solo, budget travelers! Great place to stay for a very cheap price. Good value for money and super recommended for both Pinoy and foreigners.
I got an online training during my stay with them and internet connection was never a problem, they have a fast and stable Wi-Fi connection. They also offer unlimited free drinking water and coffee for guests during your whole stay. One of the cleanest hostels I've ever been to!
The attendants are very kind and can be relied to specially Ate Jezzelle! Salamat Ate! I also met the owner and she's so kind too, shared a lot about her thoughts in putting up this hostel. More of service to travelers than setting high price for accoms. :)
The hostel is located near the beach, a coffee shop and another fun hostel in front, inexpensive eateries right next to Cheri's, a local bakery and sari-sari store are super near too!
I'll definitely stay with Cheri's again when I get back in Moalboal! ♡

The place and the service is exceptional. Thank you for giving us a pleasant experience even for a short period of time. I will recommend this to everyone who want a cheap stay but a very clean and safety environment. Kudos! ☺️👍

I really like it here! The staff (Giselle and Clent) were so welcoming and there was a nice bunch of local and foreign travellers staying here. It’s more social on the weekends and located a short 2 min walk from the free drinks at Moho. Also near some of the cheapest food you’ll find in Moalboal. Sure it’s basic but you get AC, clean rooms and privacy curtains for a very good price.
