Babu Backpackers inn Hostel

Last March 17-18, our company had our Team Building activity in Moalboal and we booked our trip with Babu Backpackers in :) Guess what? Babu offered the guest house since we were having our Team Building. The place was so nice and so cheap compared to others. Hence, what we love the most are the people who catered us in our stay in Moalboal. From Arrival to Island Hopping to foods to Accommodation were so perfect and organised. The staff were so friendly, especially “Babu” who managed the Inn was so amazing and very friendly, She treated us not just a guests but a family :) Kudos to Babu and staff! I recommend this place if you guys are planning to visit Moalboal Cebu :) I salute all the staff for the excellent Job well done.

Very responsive to inquiries and hassle free reservations. Legit. We arrived at around 5:00 am and Babu accommodated us very nicely despite the very early check in. Beddings were clean and room is absolutely comfortable. There are many bathrooms available for use. Water and coffee is also available. There is also Wi-Fi and cellphone signal is manageable. The place is a 10 minute walk from the beach and there are lots of nearby restaurants and bars. Despite that, the place is quiet and peaceful. Tricycle ride to the place is only Php 30 from the main road. Babu is very friendly and accommodating. She will give you tips of attractions to visit, how to get there and approximate expenses so that you won’t be scammed. Furthermore, she has a lot of contacts so she can help you find whatever you need… canyoneering guide, trike drivers or van rentals. My experience at Babu is truly memorable and I highly recommend the place. Will definitely stay here again.

I was looking for reasonably-priced, down-to-earth but comfortable, and with the trademark Filipino hospitality Moalboal lodgings and I was super-pleased with my stay here.
Babu arranged for the Filipino home cooking I had missed and for the personal touch did the cooking too!
Babu gave us the local insider's tips on where to eat, chill, drink… and what I consider the best was where to see the many sardines that make their run as well as where to encounter the unassuming turtle, without breaking my lean piggy bank :) Definitely, for backpacker friends and those who prefer a place to stay near the Panagsama Beach/BasDiot and who like a laid-back, homey setting with the friendly and helpful vibe, I recommend Babu's!

Babu is an incredible host who will make you a part of her family, with great rooms and an awesome location with lots to eat nearby. Scooter rentals are available and I highly recommend taking one to the Waterfalls rather than a tour.

One of the best Backpacker Stays I had ever been. I stayed there 7 nights and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. You get Free Wifi, free Coffe and Water and the prices for the stay are really fair. Babu is very friendly, helpful and you can always have a good time when you stay there. I can absolutely recommend this place and I will come back for sure! Best greetings from Germany.

Cozy and big bunk-rooms. 10 min walking to the beach. Cheap: 300p per head. Most important, be part of this family: Babu, Rachell and Ma. How they take care about every small detail is awesome. Everything is easy and made with love here. We stayed for 4 nights with our 2y. A son and we will come back again very soon. You are our friends, THANK YOU.

Truly amazing place! Babu is the best host ever, she will treat you as you've been her best friend for ages since the minute you'll arrive. The rooms are very spacious, and the beds very comfy. Would 100% stay there again, and 200% recommend it!
