The hotel itself and the staff are wonderful. The staff and security make you feel safe in a very dangerous neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The location is TERRIBLE! it is located in the middle of the red light district with strip clubs, prostitutes, 24 hour sexual massage parlors, and brothels. The neighborhood is not safe to walk in at night and not safe anytime for women and children. This is a disgusting neighborhood and avoid this hotel here. Choose another red planet elsewhere.

Mostly catering to Asian tourist going to nearby KTV places. Decent rooms for the price but a bit small. Great receptionist service. Book via their app for discount.

The place was good and very cheap. It has a fast Wifi connection and available iMacs on the lobby ready to use. Elevators are really slow though and doesn't have any proper ventilation which makes the inside seem like an oven. Overall the rooms are clean and staff was friendly.

It is located in a red area but the hotel clean.

My family and I have been here couple of times, in terms of service I confidently rate them 5 star. The staff are cordial and have attended to our needs very attentively, you need not ask them to. They are always there right away when you needed them. The location is so convenient for us who attends our business in the Manila area. There was an instace maybe once in each visit that we heard loud thumps or movement in the floor where we are checked-in but it was only minimal bur hopeful they should observe a little courtesy of loud movements especially it transpired during late nights but all-in — all the service was great. I will still come back there on my next visit to Manila.

Staffs are very friendly and professional. Affordable price. Clean and nice room. There is a minimart and a Chinese restaurant downstairs. We had good time in this hotel and they also offered us to check in earlier without extra fees.

Small room. No cabinet, no chairs, no vanity kits, no tables, no ref, no phone inside the room, no free drinking water, no free coffee and no water heater. My room rate is 1700 to 2k. A lot of nos so better scrutinize the room amenities before you book. In fairness, the hotel is close to the church, mall, hospital and Manila bay. Warning: red light district.

Great budget hotel. Close to bay and park, museums, restaurants, night life, mall, and some delicious street food. Rooms are clean, comfortable, safe. They use a Chinese restaurant for included breakfast.

Good hotel for the price. Check-in and check-out went without any issues. No hidden fees. Does ID card checks for guests you take to the hotel, very safe. Only one downside is the street that is full of people wanting to sell you something. Very convenient is the 711 store at the entrance of the hotel. Will book here again.

Nice hotel with minimarket 711 on the ground floor 24/7, easy to reach and anything you need just a step away. Warm staff and helpful. It’s 4 stars hotel with good rates. On Mabini St, many bar and night club this area open on evening.

The rooms are small but clean. There are many restaurants around. The Robinson Mall is a 7 minutes walk away. Higher rooms offer a nice view over the harbour and sunset.

Room small enough for 2 single beds. The window does not open, the air conditioning only worked on 2 positions, strong and very strong, we had reported to the reception, they sent someone quickly but to tell us that it is like this!

Clean, convenient to all necessities and cool area. Toilet is clean. Have soap, shampoo and body wash in one push container. Toothpaste and brush not available. Overall is very satisfactory. Water is abundant during shower time. Water is warm and hot according to adjustment. Security is strictly imposed.

Vary nice hotel despite the other hotels in the area here at Red Planet Hotel Mabini the staff are well trained and helpfull.

The hotel is located in a good location with convenient store and Chinese restaurant next to the door. The service is good.

Not as good as expected. Okay, staff were nice but rooms are not so clean. Shower were blocked and they only provide a 3n1 body wash in the toilet. Toilet bowls were stained. Beds are worn out. Expect a very noise surrounding as it is located in Ermita.

Small but efficient, clean rooms, friendly staff, and Wi-Fi connection are excellent, making it a great choice for both business travelers and short-term travelers.

Surprisingly clean — fresh sheets, towels, etc. ; very corteius and helpful staff; an authentic chinese restaurant is right in its front with very good food; A Seven Eleven is right at its entrance which makes it very convenient. A very good budget hotel. I highly recommend it if you are on a budget.

Basic amenties like phone in room, water bottles, electric kettle, tea powder not there… they provide good security to customers, neat room, good shower…

Very clean and modern hotel in a good (but not great) location. Smart bright room, just about big enough but very comfortable.

No fridge. No breakfast. Very weak Wi-Fi (floor 9). Convenience store: mainly, sweets, drinks, junk food, toiletry … (open 24h). And they're cleaning rooms in late afternoon just when I'm back from my activities… But it's located in the heart of touristic and popular night attractions.

Best shower in a budget hotel. No free drinking water, nor dental kit & slippers, soap is a 3in1 body wash & shampoo. Comfy bed & soft pillows. Friendly staff. My only complaint was the wall socket, bad connection maybe, I had to arrange my plugs so it had contact with the inside of the socket.

What I liked: Hotel has guards at the front. There's a 7/11 near the entrance. Korean restaurant on the ground floor. Staff are friendly & professional. Comfy queen sized bed. Small table folds into the wall. Good, bright white lighting in the room & bathroom. Strong water pressure. Full sized mirror. Ceiling fan. What I didn't mind: No hot water kettle. No complimentary drinking water. Soap dispenser only. Attached to the wall. No interesting window view. If you book the street facing rooms it can get very noisey. No in room telephone. Room is small but not cramped. What I hated: Not sound proof. I could hear everything in the hallway. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Will be back. Note: You download & use their RedHotel App to chat with the front desk, call your friends in another room, directions to the hotel & a 10% discount when you book thru the app.

Very clean and well run hotel. For two star reviews really too bad. However, the size of the room is somewhat restricted. Wishes can be expressed at any time at the reception. A very fast and immediate settlement of the desire is guaranteed. Unfortunately the hotel is not in a for anyone suitable district. On unusual e we had to be questions of security personnel. Take's sporty!

Rooms are clean, bed and sheets are of good quality. No nasty smell from non cleaning aircon and molds. Small rooms yes! For me Cleanliness first before sizes of rooms.

Looking for a western amenities clean non pretentious hotel? Found it! In the the heart of Manila sin district. Okay well let's not call it sin… It's all good clean fun. Back to the hotel. Clean. Good shower and bathroom. Hairdryer! Bed is OK. Not the best mattress but decent. Staff is amazing! Super nice. Location is great. Food and convenience store below.

Went there for Shu Zhou Taiwanese fastfood. Really yummy! Yummy Siao Long Bao.

Red Planet is kind of low cost hotel, so the expectation shouldn't be so much high. The biggest problem with the hotel is its location. Red Planet Ermita is located at the middle of Mabini street where is place of night clubs and many call it "Red Light Street". There are many prostitute, Beggar and thief walking around the hotel which make it totally unsafe especially for families. Hotel itself is clean at the surface, but at the back, it isn't. Once I stayed and watch how staff are going to clean my room, she used the same towel to clean toilet, sink, table, mirror, everything, then without any gloves they empty the bathroom's trashcan and then without washing her hands she attempt to change pillow covers and towels. There is big management issue which need lots of work to fix.

A reasonably priced hotel in the malate area.

Red Planet artillery cannonade — you need earplugs. But then is danger that you can not hear fire siren or terrorists. I was in Red Planet during September 2015. It is good hotel and all is ok, good location, food place in ground floor and so on. Only one big PROBLEM is there! DOORS BANGING! Doors BANGING in the night so loud like WAR. No silence. Doors making so loud noise like Spanish artillery cannonade, when they conquered Manila hundred years ago. Question to hotel owners — why you cant make the doors silent? Little bit soft material between doors and all is OK. Cheap, but important thing — silence in night.

Clean good Wi-Fi good TV. Definitely not a resort but a good room for the price. This used to be Tune hotel chain. There's a 7-Eleven and a restaurant in the lobby walking distance to Robinson mall.

If you stay in this hotel, Do not smoke In the room, they will ask penalty 1500peso which is more than room price. When I check in the hotel they ask sign without information. But Penalty was written at the paper.

Really great stay at the Tune Hotel. My wife and I have stayed here multiple times over the past few years and haven't had a bad experience. Great prices for nice rooms. Comfy beds, (very) hot showers, flat screen TV with lots of channels, cold AC. Not the greatest location (surrounded by lots of clubs), but within a short taxi ride from Robinsons Mall and MoA. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Pasay/Manila.

This hotel is very nice but the neigborhood is kind of disturbing. There are bars and in the morning there are some begging children. However the hotel staffs are nice and accomodating. The price is good too. :).

New Hotel rooms small good design. In the near have same bars with girls or boys. Pure people at the street.

Clean, sweet, is the sound is a little weak, Papa's pillow soft bed and I really feel terrible.

A bit pricey but other than that, every thing else is fine.

Rude receptionists. Will never come back to Tune Hotels (Ermita) or any Tune Hotels ever.
