Rather good for the quarantine of 7 days or so. 5 choices of breakfast and another 5 for lunch and dinner. Simple but taste good. 23rd floor facing South. No objection to the sight. Great view. A bit old coz no renovation? I'm sometimes bothered by the slow internet. It's slow even with mobile data unlike in greenbelt. I don't know why. Anyway, I'm enjoying the quarantine in here.

Friendly people, professional and prompt in dealing with their guest. Even their driver for pick up from the airport. Good conversation!

experience that I had was that the first room
that I had TV wasn’t working & the maintenance couldn’t fix it that we had to move to another room with all our luggages & my son’s rollaway bed … the 2nd room that we had, another bad experience coz one of the recessed lights fell… good thing it didn’t fall on any of us … I could have been offered an upgrade the first night, if I didn’t insist, I’ll not get a more spacious room… the rooms should’ve a checklist before turning it for occupancy… it was our first Christmas experience in the Philippines after 19 years of being in USA and my son’s birthday was celebrated @ Jasmine’s restaurant, one of their own, and all their food were good! They even served a courtesy cake and the whole staff sang a birthday song for my son that made it memorable & special! So, overall my stay was great and I would say it’s a 9 out of 10

Your hotel and place specially toilet are creepy. Look like a haunted hotel and place.
I also heard from other that a feng shui lady also died young who even has a shop there.

Stayed here for one night prior to a late night flight out the following day. The hotel looks very elegant upon walking in. The man that checked us in (didn’t get his name) was unfortunately not 100% focused on us (returning customer for one of us). As it was my first time there I would have appreciated if he had have told us where the lifts where located to go to our 14th floor room. The porters are all extremely friendly and very helpful. The hallways are dimly lit, however I enjoyed that personally. The room is large and comfortable and clean. The bathroom is a decent size and decent size marble shower. Quality body products compared to other hotels. Breakfast was good however we didn’t enjoy our coffees as they were made of uht milk. Love that they have fresh, made to order juice. Check out is at 12pm but you can extend it to 1pm if you wish (unfortunately not any longer but you can leave your bags with the concierge).

New World Makati Hotel has excellent service! My family has been here 4times already and their services just kept on improving!
We always avail the Club level and we have come to know one of their person assigned in the Livingroom (Club Level) Lounge named Wilson. He went beyond his call of duty to do some extra special things for me, my son and my husband. Truly amazing service from him and his manager Michelle. They made us feel at home and gave us the pampering. Definitely a place we will go back to stay again and again!

My first time at New World Makati Hotel. Attended the Pfizer Vaccination Summit. I loved that there was separate check-in and check-out room. Overall the activity was orderly and food was good. The room and amenities were sufficient and of good quality. What I noticed as different was the burn/fire masks and good quality flashlight available for the hotel guest in case of fire and evacuation will be necessary. I will recommend it to friends.

Lovely, sophisticated, and elegant hotel, excellent service from a friendly staff, delicious foods. We stayed in the upgrade upper floors with the private dining room buffet. Clean room. Quiet aircon. Sumptuous bed. Easy TV remote. Only wish is that the shower water was a little warmer, and there was a lunch buffet included in our paid upgrade. I highly recommend.

Right beside Greenbelt 3, food is everywhere. Room was clean, big and spacious but the aircon is way too cold for comfort, I had to switch it off a couple of times. Kudos to the hotel receptionists and the staff stationed all over the lobby — More than ever helpful, always giving tips and help.

Seriously lovely hotel with very posh and somewhat updated furnishing and setup. The buffet is slightly cozy and dim but the quality of food is superb. It's certainly above average compared to other similar hotel buffets in Metro Manila. What stood out the most is the Japanese section. It was particularly delicious unlike other buffets that tend to skimp out on the Japanese food quality. Great stuff! Just some minor things prevent the whole hotel to be a 5 star. Some furnishings in the bathroom seem a bit odd like a lack of rainfall showerhead and a very low bathtub. But overall still love it!

Posh hotel conveniently located at the heart of the shopping district of Makati. Service is tops. Staff give you that extra mileage and are eager to please. Buffet breakfast is one of the best I have had and the variety of the food is tops! Just took a while for us to be checked in since they had to clean my room. But otherwise, excellent. Wifi is fast and furious.

Stayed here on a business trip. Hotel is located near to the airport and easily accessible to all amenities. Breakfast was good. Fresh juices a must try. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staffs were friendly. Would recommend and prefer to stay here during my next trip.

It's a difficult one to review, because there are many good points, but unfortunately some bad points. We had always fancied trying this hotel to see how the Residence Lounge floor compared to Shangri la Horizon Club Lounge, Fairmont Gold Lounge and Hyatt Club Lounge floor. The good points… Great location, Nice Bathroom and shower… Nice room with no odours… Great comfy bed and nice lighting and universal electric sockets… Mostly nice friendly staff… Lots of security… Nice foods at cocktail hour time in residence club… Great buffet breakfast in restaurant with friendly staff. Not so good points… Not a nice welcome at check in at the Residence Lounge reception… no welcome drink… Terrible cable TV reception … Afternoon tea in residence lounge was 1 type of mini dessert and cookies and some candies… It's a shame about the negatives, as the positive points were indeed good. Does the Residence Lounge floor compare with the Horizon Club Lounge at Shangri La or the Fairmont Gold lounge, no it does not… but of course it's cheaper to book… and with the nice location on 24th floor and enjoyable cocktail hours food, it's not all bad. Would we book again, possibly, it depends on the price and the cable TV services. It really needs to be upgraded… while we are not obviously in the room at all times, when in the room I expect to be able to watch international cable channels in high definition, esp in a 5* hotel.

Five star hotel indeed! With five ⭐ service! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is just on the opposite road of Greenbelt where you can easily find a place to dine, shop and relax.

Great experiences. Safety check at the entrance, bar at the ground floor. They serve fresh juice made in front of you. What you have to do is just choose what you like.

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the business and shopping hub of the Philippines, in Makati. Near the airport as well. Rooms are splendid while the services of cheerful attendants simply great. The Lounge is nice place to hangout and offers a nice selection of wine, cheese dried meat and other finger foods. Sadly, the lunch buffet at Cafe 1228 is not impressive nor to die for. Dessert is not extra ordinary. The moron and other local delicacies are not how it should be. The fruitcake dry and other pastries lacking in moistness. Albeit, presentation is great but taste is another thing. Only the Japanese food is best among the rest. The Filipino meals failed to showcase what's best in this country. Well, if it's any consolation there are a wide variety of restaurants to choose from just a few walks away to cater to your gastronomic delights. Please improve on this New World Hotel Makati and your hotel will turn out to be the perfect place to be!

Strategically and conveniently located just across Greenbelt 3. In the heart of the shopping district of Makati. Great hotel staff, delectable food and an assortment of amenities. Definitely one of the best places to stay when in Metro Manila.

Very nice hotel in a rather not so beautiful city.

The hotel is fine. The food and drinks were good. The security, however, is WAY over the top. Metal detectors and bag search at Check in, armed guards searching each car when it pulls up to the hotel. I couldn't even get to meetings in the hotel with the rest of my team because your room key only allows you to get to your particular floor and the lobby. You have to go to the lobby and have someone authorize you to go up… escorted.

Booked an Executive Suite and it came with a VIP lounge that served all day beverages with afternoon buffet and of course buffet breakfast. View from the lounge was great and we absolutely loved the all day beverage and afternoon snack buffet! The rest (room, breakfast, amenities, etc) were pretty much ok and what you would expect from any upper class hotel stay.

Clean, feels modern, relaxed. A bit sparse in its room details and amenities. What can't be beat is its great location, right in front of Greenbelt 3. Good food too. Service is excellent and helpful, smiling faces abound.

Jasmine is great. Excellent Chinese restaurant. Probably the best roast duck in town. Service is tops. Very highly recommended.

Rooms are very clean and modern. It was renovated maybe 2013 or 2014. Ballrooms for events are quite nice despite the smaller size compared to hotels nearby. Dining at Jasmine is especially nice because of the nice and spacious interiors. The chef makes very good Chinese dishes and can be customized to the customer's preference.

Spent New Year's Eve here with my brother and it was great! :) was able to get a room on the 25th floor and had great views of fireworks around the city. Staff is friendly and professional.

Wonderful place! Breakfast and lunch buffet had so. Much range but had Japanese which is my fave. Bedsheets and pillows were probably one of the best I had. And the people were so attentive and quite nice!

My wife and I stayed a few nights in November 2015, an oasis of a hotel in the heart of Manila and right opposite Green Belt. We felt very secure. A lovely hotel.

I have stayed here multiple times and the experience has been good. It is really convenient to be able to cross the street and go to greenbelt.

The renovated rooms are mostly defective at best. Stayed there many times due to cheap price. Every room I stayed had problems. Air conditioning, light switches, and electrical outlets are poorly designed and illogical from a usability point of view. The hotel staff and management do not care about repeat customers so don't think they will care to ensure your stay is satisfactory. If it weren't for price and location, I will avoid this hotel.

I went here and availed of their dimsum buffet in Jasmine (Chinese Restaurant). The dimsum is quite good even though the number of dishes is only a few. My biggest complain is none of the food I ordered came, and it was the supervising waitress that took it.

Horrible experience, charging 8100 pesos per night and not worth of even 500 pesos per night, guys please don't take your room on 19th floor ever in case if you wish to stay in this hotel. Noisy passage whole day drilling n hammering, kids n adults screaming near the door Room no 1915 specially, housekeeping staff service is poor, if u pay them tip they will give u nice service this is due to their poor salary, No drinking water, coffee, etc you buy from out even after paying 8100 pesos per night. Best hotel nearby is Shangrilla or Fairmount. Don't book with new world hotel makati ever. Room no 1915 was a nightmare for me, midnight aircon stop working and wake up with full of swet in the body then it's hard to sleep.

I've had my best hotel experience ever, believe me. Everything impressed me in therm of the quality — extremely polite staff, great quality and variety of the food, the room not luxury but very comfortable, very good pool, nice meeting rooms, etc. I could have a vast variety of food all along my stay which is great. The location is also great for shopping and dinning outside — Greenbelt complex is across the street.

Terrible experience! this hotel is currently undergoing construction. There are no warnings of this in the hotel nor when you book or check in, which I find highly inconsiderate and sneaky as they try to fill up their hotel and then deal with the issues later. This is exactly what happened to me. Hotel accepted my reservation for an executive room. On check in I'm told no rooms are available but I can be DOWN-graded (! ) to a standard room (never been offered a downgrade before — is that supposed to make me feel happier? ) I'm told there are no other alternatives and that they will move me the next day, so I reluctantly accept. The next day they move me to a room where there is construction happening on the floor below so I cannot work or sleep due to the constant drilling and banging. I also found out that they charge the same rate for renovated rooms and non renovated rooms, which I think is unfair. The management team have been pretty pathetic in sorting this out. General warning — check before you book a room here to see if you will be affected by the construction works, which them seem to be trying to hide to the outside world.

Have spent literally months here for business in Manila. The staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered in hotels and are always welcoming and inviting. The rooms are good (by Manila standards) and the prices are reasonable. The hotel services (restaurants, gyms, pool) are all kept in great condition and are of a high quality. I come here because of the people though, it's a fantastic place to return to.
