Kims Garden

Bit too basic. No Wifi in rooms. Insufficient air con in rooms. 1 poor pillow each. Access to resort poor. Must have own bike but getting a bike on the first place wasn’t overly easy even though we had pre requested one. The guy running the place is very nice but he’s too laid back to get things done. Breakfast was underwhelming given their restaurant in town is actually quite good.

Great jungle resort, Kim and his wife Shari are very nice and welcoming. Truly amazing experience in the jungle with direct access into a turquoise sea! Don’t miss out a dinner at their restaurant in town!

Our stay at Kim’s garden was incredible. Kim and his wife Shari are lovely, very accommodating people.
You’ll enjoy a truly immersive jungle-like experience, as the property is set on a beautifully preserved piece of natural land with direct access to the sea (rooms are clean and shower is working well).
The breakfast is excellent. Additionally, they run a restaurant just 5 km away that serves outstanding vegetarian dishes (which is not common in Bohol), alongside well-prepared local cuisine. As a bonus, many of the ingredients come from their own farm.
They’ve truly considered every detail to enhance your stay, providing snorkeling equipment, effortless scooter rentals, and seamless taxi arrangements for your onward journey.
Highly recommended for a serene and seamless getaway!

This place is WONDERFUL! It is a hidden paradise! Here are the reasons. 1. There is a beautiful ocean view! In the ocean There is Nemo, Starfish, really big Crab, And more🏖️! 2. There are the cutest dogs! 4 of them are Lucy, Ice, Lisa And Ratch! So cute and cuddly. The best place for kids! 🐶 3. The rooms are great! The beds are Soo comfortable! And the bathroom is great! The showers are ok. It's great! And you might wanna be careful of your shoes. Maybe put them inside. Because the dog Lucy might take yours. Especially slippers. 🛏️4. In the morning they give you breakfast. Every day we can eat some fresh fruits. Even pancake 🥞 Do delicious! 🍱 5. Parrot are so cute! But they might bite you so be careful. Just do not put your hand inside the cage🦜! Alright that's all this is the wonderful, adventurous place so you should come! Ok that's all❣️ OH!
One more! Mr. Kim and Mrs. Kim (owner) is so kind and nice!

무척이나 잘 놀다 갑니다. 가족들에게 다시 잊지 못할 추억이 되겠네요.
We are 4 members of family with 2 kids (9 and 8 old). And all we falling love with here.
They run only 4 rooms. So you feel very private and peaceful.
Rooms are clean. And beds are clean we slept well.
It is not commercial resort at all like hennan, jpark etc. It is feel like enter another world.
It is little kingdom built by owner couple.
They grow animals and plants here.
They open their kingdom to few guests and they welcome their guest really well.
Their breakfast is really good. Omelette, pancake, coffee. Mango. Etc kids love it.
Notice, they have only breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you have to go to Hangover in anda town. (10 minutes driving)
I recommend here if you truly know the traveling especially people who think commercial resorts are all boring.
And hope to experience little unique kingdom.

This is the biggest hidden gem in Bohol!
Kim and Shari will make you feel like at home immediately. They truly have a little piece of paradise in Anda, Bohol.
We had a really smooth arrival and we drove with Kim and his dogs in his motorcycle to town to have dinner in their restaurant “The Hangover” which has amazing dishes by the way (cool tip: there is an alligator fish in the pond! So don’t lean over it too much)
They have a big animal family so you’ll have to be comfortable around them, but hey, you’re in the jungle after all! From parrots, birds, lizards, squirrels, a python and of course, the dog family. Aaah the dogs! Soooo friendly and cuddly.
The accommodation is super clean and the interior design is also really cool. Using the white rock as a base to keep it cool in the hot days.
The hosts Kim and Shari are really accommodating, helpful, interesting and funny (I would have a beer with Kim if you get the chance).
There is a small door in the back of the garden where you can reach the ocean directly, and a hammock to chill and the views of the sunset are breathtaking! Also you’re close to everything else easily by tricycle or motorbike.

Kings Garden Resort is a true hidden gem. With only a few spacious and comfortable cottages, this resort is perfect for anyone looking for privacy and peace. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need to feel at home.
The location is amazing, surrounded by trees, birds, and the sound of nature. The private beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water where you can swim, snorkelling and even see turtles. You can also swim or walk to nearby beaches. The resort is just a 10-15 minute drive from the town.
The Wi-Fi only works in the dining area, not in the rooms. However, this wasn’t a problem for us at all. We wanted to disconnect, relax, and truly connect with nature, and Kings Garden was perfect for that.
Kim and his wife are absolutely wonderful. They took such great care of us and made us feel so welcome. It was amazing to meet such a kind and charming couple, they made our stay extra special. The breakfast was delicious and different every day, which we loved.
We fully recommend Kings Garden to anyone who loves nature. It’s one of the mos peaceful places we’ve ever been. A perfect experience! Thank you, Kim and family!

Kims Garden — Anda, Bohol.
A true paradise surrounded by nature. The location is perfect for disconnecting and enjoying peace and tranquility. The private beach is absolutely stunning, ideal for relaxing and exploring the reef while snorkeling. We were lucky enough to swim with turtles in their natural habitat—an unforgettable experience!
The accommodations are cozy and immersed in lush greenery, making you feel completely connected to nature. Kim, Shary, and their family are wonderful hosts, always ensuring everything is just right and making you feel at home.
Kims Garden is the perfect place if you’re looking for natural beauty, serenity, and an authentic experience in Bohol. Highly recommended!

My friends and I, a group of four, stayed here for one night. The place has a natural vibe, and I recommend it if you want to avoid crowded areas. However, I suggest having a car or another means of transportation, as it’s quite far from the main road; you’ll need to drive about five minutes to reach it. The location feels serene and is close to a beautiful beach with soft white sand. Don’t miss the sunrise—it’s truly breathtaking. You can also enjoy snorkeling.
One downside was that the bed sheets hadn't been replaced in a long time, so it would be nice if they were changed before guests check in. Additionally, more outdoor lighting would be beneficial. On a positive note, the owners were very accommodating and considerate. We needed to leave early and asked if we could move our breakfast payment to dinner, and they were understanding. Since the Wi-Fi was somewhat distant, we also requested the owner to relocate it for easier access. Overall, I would recommend this place for groups of friends and families planning a vacation.

Enjoyed our stay, which we extended to four nights. Welcoming host, nice rooms, peace and quiet. Rent their scooter to get to local restaurants, or call for trike pickup. If you are a diver we recommend 'Anda Scuba Diving'.

If you like a quiet place nestled within a beautiful garden with great views then this place is for you. There are many small paths leading through the supprisingly large garden to the huts and the sea. Kim is a great host taking great care of the guests as well as the garden and his pet animals. I can highly recommend staying here for your vacation in Anda.

Upon coming at the place, we were unpleasantly surprised about the road to the place. It’s terrible. You need like 10-15 min to get to the main road.
The owner added a remark to my surprise saying: “It’s not my f…. Island”. Of course that doesn’t absolve anyone from doing what one can to arrange the way to the “resort”.
At the entry the “resort” looks like a car dump yard, no parking, the place looks like a gipsy lodging.
We were focused on exploring island with scooters, what we did on Siquijor. But as the road is terrible and my wife is not a good driver, we were blocked.
The description on Booking doesn’t really correspond to what you get there, especially the room and the aforementioned access.
The room we had is spacious, but the sleeping room is not at all separated, so forget about the intimacy. The AC is like prehistoric, wonder how it still works.
The shower is stuck in the outer wall, separated by a curtain.
The Wi-Fi is working only at the dining area.
All and all, the whole package is far from what we paid for. Shortly, it’s a scam.
As for the behavioural habits of the owner, they can only be considered as disagreeables.

I suggested to 2 family members that they stay in Kim’s Garden because we had a very pleasant stay there some 8 years ago. I checked out the place before making the final reservation. The place is still beautifully located and the gardens have been amazingly developed by Kim, the owner. However, sadly the service has gone down. There was no staff to clean the rooms (my niece stayed there 4 nights and the room was never cleaned). When she arrived the shower was broken and needed to be fixed (which they did the next day). And the internet in the rooms is almost non existent. The gardens, amazing as they may be, need more attending because it is getting too dark which for a first timer is a bit intimidating, especially at night. For the prices that they are asking, the place badly needs a more professional management and new staff. It’s too bad because it has loads of potential.

This is a beautiful place off the beaten track (but still close enough to be accessible) with very nice rooms. The owner and staff were all extremely helpful and great all around. They made sure we had everything we needed and arranged transportation for us whenever we needed it (though it was also pretty easy to walk out to the road and flag down a tricycle cab). Breakfast each morning was likewise amazing. I would highly recommend staying here. It is also right next door to Amun ini which offers amazing diving (we stayed at Kim's for 6 nights while diving with Amun ini).
