Boracay Uptown

I had a great experience at uptown, the staff is fantastic and the location is pretty centrally located for getting around the beach/island.
One note is that your experience may differ room to room, we booked last minute which meant switching rooms halfway through, the staff was so helpful in this. However, our second room didn’t have very good hot water, the first room was excellent.

Staffs are nice and approachable. The only concern is the water all over the floor which is a safety hazard. There is also molds inside the bathroom sink as well as leaking underneath the sink.

I don’t recommend this hotel, I was with my family for eight days for the New Year’s, they destroyed my vacation. I don’t know how this hotel has three stars. You are lucky if you read this and don’t book this hotel.
The place is dirty, and the facilities are old and the water is not working in the shower, we had floods and the water doesn’t go down, and booking the hotel looks great, but reality is just so bad.
We had to ask seven times a day for someone to come and clean our room and when they did a lot of sand and they took our towels and not leaving us any towel towels.
And then again, we had to ask 7 time for towels.
We had to beg for coffee and for water to bring to the room while in booking it says that’s included.

It was a good overall experience. Staff were very helpful. Close to the beach and the main boardwalk. Beds I found to be good, there was hot water (which some places don't have) and the food was descent as well.

We stayed for a week. An unintentional mishap happened during the transfer, and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. Everyone there is so super nice. The location is pretty bomb. Right next to Dmall. The tour guide stuff is north up the beach. Maybe a 10 minute walk. Just look for the pier and a bunch of blue tents.
Could the rooms be better? Maybe… But it's right on the beach. If you managed the place what would you do about sand that gets tracked in? What would you do about corrosive salt water? To correct all the problems that arise in a challenging environment like Boracay would be very expensive. So… Enjoy a reasonably priced hotel. The staff here were rockstars. Breakfast was delicious. Wasn't always a buffet, but they made sure you were well fed.
And for the most important part of any review. Would I stay here again? I would without hesitation.

The good: great location and the pool overlooking the beach is nice. The staff are really polite.
Everything else: The original room I was in had a through window AC unit that sounded like it was about to explode, the reception upgraded me to a better room with quiet AC that worked well. The shower is SOOO weak and not hot, the room and hotel in general feels like it needs a make over everywhere, surfaces peeling off, rusting fittings etc. The breakfast is mainly Asian stir fry food, they do have cornflakes and choco flakes and toast for westerners and will make you an omelette if you ask but for a 4 star hotel it's pretty poor. If it was rated 2 star and half the price I would say it was fair value but it's not a 4 star place by a million miles.

Superb stay at boracay uptown. Service was exceptional, with staff being both accommodating, and anticipatory of your needs. Breakfast had limited choices but good quality. Room was very spacious and clean. Location was perfect-right in front of the beach and beside dmall which is convenient if you have kids, as you can easily buy anything you need.

Rooms: Spacious and big enough for a family of 3. The rooms are equipped with a TV, a small fridge and a kettle for boiling water. They also provide free bottles of water everyday depending on the number of adult guests. Complimentary tea and coffee are also available.
Service/Amenities: I would say excellent customer service from every staff. They are very approachable and try their best to make guests comfortable during stay. During our stay, we had to laundry some clothes and swimwear. We were surprised to get the clothes in the afternoon despite giving it to them morning of the same day. Toiletries, Robes and disposable slippers are also provided to guests and can be changed everyday. They even offer to provide clothing racks outside your room for wet clothes/swimwears. If you opt to swim at the beach, they provide free use of beach towels and a beach mat. Breakfast is also excellent and had several choices for both adults and kids. There are 2 pools that can be accessed by all guests. One in the ground floor and the other at the roof deck (3/F of the building)
