I had a great experience in the hotel. The front desk receptionist were so helpful. The provided me a lot of information of what to do, offered me 2 tours that I totally recommended, gave updates on “La Candelaria” events and recommended where to eat. (Mojsa restaurant is the best). The hotel is well located. They provide breakfast every morning. The person in charge of the area was really nice and gave me some tips to deal with the Soroche (symptoms for the high altitude). Again this hotel has a great service, great location, and quiet and clean environment. Gracias a todo su personal.

We booked through Booking. Com, a balcony room in July for an October stay. We were not given this room, and when we complained, we were told that they were fully booked and that the balcony rooms had been since January. So why were we able to book in July? The room we were given overlooked the square but was poorly maintained. To move rooms to a cheaper but slightly better room and pay less, we had to cancel with Booking. Com. If we had been able to book another hotel easily, we would have, but we arrived in the evening with limited options. I did wonder how many other people had the same experience and have complained to Booking. Com. The breakfast was the worst we had in Peru just to add insult to injury, with watered down juices and cold scrambled eggs that both mornings looked as if they had been made the day before. After agreeing to a price on the evening we arrived, at checkout they tried to charge us the original price! Stay away.

This hotel is a lovely and ideal location in the heart of Puno! The staff is incredibly gracious and helpful! I needed a toothbrush, and they were able to retrieve one and bring it to my room within 10 minutes! Also, upon returning from Lake Titicaca, I had to go another six hours until by bus station pickup, and they stored my luggage, no extra charge, and it was very safe.
My hotel room had hot water from the facet and warm water in the shower. If you use conditioner, either bring your own or pick some up.
The price is very fair for the accommodations and location.
Breakfast was perfect!
