Casa Panqarani

Oscar, his mother and his partner were wonderful hosts during our two-nights stay. Casa Panqarani was by far the nicest and most comfortable hotel we stayed in while traveling through Peru. It is the perfect place if you are looking for something more personal and authentic than the usual booking. Com hotel. Breakfast was also a highlight, as fresh juices changed daily and the scrambled eggs were very tasty.
Casa Panqarani has also a cafè which is open to the public from 5 pm where you can have good and inexpensive meals.
At the end of my stay I was feeling sick and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful.
An additional advantage for German and international travellers: Oscar speaks very good German and English.

Had an absolutely fabulous three-night stay with host Ursula around a Lake Titicaca excursion. She’s enormously resourceful and helped us with organizing trips around Puno and input for later travels around Peru. Rooms are cozy even when it’s cold out, and well-equipped. Breakfast in the downstairs cafe is tasty and great value for money.
Do ask to have the hosts prepare some dinner, that too was a great experience culinarily and in terms of ambience. 😊

Super nice room and attentive service. The space feels very personal and cosy. It’s calm and the inner patio is very relaxing.

We've stayed here 4 times. Consuelo is super friendly and accommodating. The place is relaxing, home like lots of antiques, relaxing. Not the most central location, but Puno is compact, and it is easy enough to walk from here.

Beautiful guesthouse, simple but made with love, with a lovely cafe & garden (something that is rare in Puno), quiet but a short walk into the main square.
I stayed in the Queen Room, the bed was very comfortable & warm, plenty of hot water with good pressure.
The host is very lovely & accommodating. I forgot something in the room when I’m already on the way to Bolivia and she went the extra mile to help me get it back.

Such a cozy and charming spot. The rooms are lovely, and the included breakfast was very good. The vibe in the rooms and common areas is so calming.

Quiet, lovely place in the middle of a busy town. Owner spoke great English and helped us arrange tours, laundry, and transport to the airport at the end. Breakfast was great at the on-premise cafe. Nice value for a small place with personal attention from the family owners.

Gorgeous hotel in Puno. It's not in the heart, but it's just 5-10min walking. The space is gorgeous: A beautiful house with plants and a small garden. Rooms are huge, clean and with very big and comfortable beds. The shower is perfect. It is run by Ursula and her mother. They're very friendly and helpful. In the first floor there's a coffee where you can have your breakfast or, in the afternoon, have some drinks or snacks. And as someone said, it's a great place to grab some drinks and kill some time before you catch the night bus ;)
Totally worth and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay here. We were in Puno before and after going to Uros and Lake Titicaca, and Ursula and her family were so helpful with everything we needed. The place is beautiful and they were kind enough to get up early to pack us a breakfast for an early flight. It was perfect and very close to the Plaza. To book, we emailed about a month ahead of time and they kept our reservation. Highly recommend this spot if you are going to Puno.
