I had an excellent stay at Kapievi and booked again to return because it was such a nice stay.

No doubt one of the best lodges in puerto maldanado. However not luxury and a little rough round the edges.
Firstly staff were lovely and welcoming.

Corto Maltés Amazonian is a lovely place! The lodges are cozy and comfortable, right in the heart of the Amazon, and the setting is incredible.

This place is unreal and Elmer the host is a legend. His property is located in the middle of the jungle and yet pretty close to the town.

When you first arrive in the nearby town, you might feel like you’ve landed somewhere in Iraq – very underdeveloped and not exactly safe.

I visited several times just to enjoy the bar and view. Edward and Angela are very kind and I had lovely drinks (pisco sour and aperol spritz) while I relaxed reading. The space is very pretty.

Our experience at the Green House Tambopata was incredible because the excursion was amazing. Our room can indeed be a bit cleaner and in better condition.

We found La Fauna by complete accident, and am so pleased that we did! Not only is it beautiful but its super clean.

I had trouble finding an in depth review for this place when we booked it, so I am providing one! My sisters and I did the 3D/2N Sandoval Lake program and loved our time at the ecolodge.

The boat ride to the Ecoamazonia lodge was so exciting and lasted about a hour. The lodge provides well enclosed huts for their guests with a fan and nice bathroom.

A very nice and quiet place, good service, I loved it.

Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They made our beds, cleaned up our room a bit and gave us fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was big and delicious. A/C was perfect.

Staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to amend our booking at no extra cost. The deluxe suite was very comfortable.

We stayed here for one night after an Amazon stay. It is a very relaxed location run by a family — but perfect for a relaxing stay.

Had such a lovely time at Villa Hermosa — the owner of the place and the whole family made us feel so welcomed. I will definitely recommend this place to all my traveller friends.

From an American Perspective: We stayed two nights at La Habana Amazon Reserve, and loved it! The contrast between Cusco and Puerto Maldonado is stunning for such a short distance away.

This hostel is the best place to stay, in town, probably! The pool was refreshing, there was breakfast, and the beds are comfortable. Great price as well!

We stayed one night before our trip to Finca Sachavacayoc. We were very happy to have the AC! We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant — the fish was great.

We enjoyed ourselves at Wasai! The staff is top-notch. Fiorella at the hotel is super helpful and sweet.

Nicer than expected. Clean. Very much appreciated the AC and in hindsight wish I stayed longer and did my jungle day trips from here, vs staying in an ecolodge.

This is the best value in Puerto Maldonado! The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The air condition is awesome! The water is always hot! The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good!
