All is great, however, there is no room service and in addition to that, there was no one to check the pool area, so some guests and guests brought alcohol and entered the pool with the glasses of liquor, giving a bad image to the area. Out of everything, good hotel, good bar, good rooms.

The service is A1 in all aspects, very attentive, the environments are beautiful, the facilities are very comfortable and clean.
Just have a little restraint with the pool manager when. Since we asked him to change the music or if we could put ours and in an arrogant way he said that there was what the best thought should be. In the same way at the end of the schedule he asked us to leave in a not so friendly way.

Without a doubt the best place, it is incredible so full of magic, the rooms are type cabins overlooking the jungle, in the middle of the jungle and the Madre de Dios River, the pool bar give it that style that makes you happy I have had a wonderful time in this magical place, recommended 100000000 points, I will be back for sure one day! That the 3 days there, have been my best days in a long time, and I have been super guys! In WASAI if you live the magic of truth✨

Very good hotel!
The room had a view of the river and the bridge and at dawn and dusk is beautiful! Very good attention, tod@s very friendly! and The BAR was the best! Excellent exotic cocktails to relax by the pool. My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon!

Each morning I opened my eyes to the sun rising over the river. There were sloths living in the lush gardens of the property and all sorts of other jungle mammals and lizards roaming around. The main square with parks and dining and any sort of shopping you can think of is just blocks away from the lodge. Everything was immaculate and everyone working there was so nice and helpful. My pictures tell a better story💗

Day and night the views and atmospheres are excellent, the rooms spacious, with air conditioning, attentive staff, all excellent.

Rooms with humidity and huge cockroaches on the pillows, I left my bike in the garage with alarm and chain and burst the chain by moving it, the forced hoop, lousy service.
The reception response is that because of the humidity cockroaches come out and they had already reported the cockroaches and the top because we put the chain to the amazing bike.

Terrible service. There is no attention to the room. No Biosafety Protocols. Maintenance-free infrastructure.

The whole trip excellent, but a lousy score on the cleanliness of the room. The worst thing was the response from the reception, who did not acknowledge the mistake and attributed it to us. Definitely a sour farewell.

Airy structure composed of many interconnected spaces that are sheltered, yet open to the environment. Waterfall creates a very tranquil experience.

Very outdated and not taken care of well. Front door had a huge gap it it so the bugs got inside. We paid extra for AC in the room and it ren nonstop to keep the room cool. We fou d a frog in our sink. Over all not horrible but 3 star is all I can give.

Centrally located and friendly staff. Breakfast was included and had a great variety to choose from. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms you need to go to lobby to access it. There many many expeditions you can choose from at the hotel for different excursions. Overall a good place. Shower had hot water and beds were comfortable.

Amazing family-run place to stay in Puerto Maldonado. The staff is friendly and super helpful, rooms clean and spacious, abundant breakfast. They have another lodge deep in the rainforest where they organize 3 day excursions to tambopata with kayaking, zip lining, visiting claylick and many more. Could not recommend more!

Good service, cleanliness of the rooms and the food of the restaurant very good. You Can Improve the pool area, make it more attractive with mild music and a bar.

Very good location, nice place and clean. Lots of vegetation ° free Wi-Fi available, functional only at the lobby ° flat for free lunch: depends on the type of your reservation (rooms a little more luxurious that have access to lunch, air conditioning, fridge and TV) ° excursions offered to the hostel are also more expensive than the kiosks on the streets. It's worth it to go compare prices!

The dorm room was a huge disappointment — old uncomfortable beds and dangerous, a plank fell on me from the bed above! No light and soap on the toilet, no hot water in the shower, no Wi-Fi outside the lobby and breakfast is not included. More expensive than most hostels in Peru but much worse quality.

Good location, clean rooms with air conditioning, breakfast included. It has a nice view, it is foot to the river and you find lots of vegetation and animals. The service is very good, I went with my daughter and had a great fun. They helped us with the tours and picked us up from the airport. I recommend it.

Beautiful place and amazing people! A perfect stay!

Very cozy and I felt very close to nature. And my kids enjoyed the refreshing pool day and night.

Very good view to the river Madre de Dios, the room and shared spaces OK. The staff were friendly and helpful. But the maintenance of the toilet services: lousy! I Had to ask them to put the spotlights in the women's bathroom, they don't do maintenance. And Well, if you pay your 50, 000 a night, I guess everything must be very different.

Let me start off by saying that this review only concerns the hostel portion of the place as I've not seen the hotel part of it. Basically the site is quite nice and it has a pool which is quite rare. Also most staff members speak both Spanish and English and are very helpful and friendly. That said, the dorm rooms are obviously very rarely used because the top beds were covered in dead insects. The beds and rooms aren't checked often so they are of dubious salubrity. Also there is only one shower for each gender available and they are not only really filthy but also really dangerous looking with exposed high voltage wires above the defunct water heater head unit. Also there was no plate on the drainage hole which was a bit worrying. Since the showers seem to get so little use, there really was no telling what was hiding in there and since Puerto Maldonado is located in the Amazonian jungle, there could have been some pretty dangerous stuff in there. That said, outside of the salubrity issue it's still quite a nice hostel with lots of potential, the view from there is pretty good and the decor is quite charming. If I were you I'd just go with it because it's still cheap, but don't expect anything top notch. On the last note, the restaurant is quite pricey and the food isn't super great but the juices are really worth a detour!

It was a really interesting and pleasant experience. Our guide Juanito was excellent and made us feel safe while enjoying the stay. We took a 4 day trip with this company in the Amazon jungle and it was just right. We started off with depositing our bags at the their main lodge in Puerto Maldonado and they gave us smaller bags to pack for the next few days. Then they drove us to a nearby 'boat station' where we boarded a special river canoe that took us up river. After nearly 3 hours, we arrived at the lodge in Tamobota river and settled in our room there. It's a wonderful place in the jungle. You may see my 360 photos of the site on my profile on Google Maps. The days were packed with exciting activities such as alligator spotting, night hikes in the jungle, paddling and more :)

All the staff was very freindly, and saw many things that no words or pictures do justice.

We didn't sleep here but our guide for the expedition into Amazonia was from their staff. She was one of the nicest and most competent guides we ever had in any country, and very experienced. Our trekk into Amazonia was an amazing experience! We booked the environmental-respectful trip and slept in a wooden hut with no electricity, no tourists, no. Thing (! ) in the middle of a clearing 15 mins walk away from Tambopata river. Actually we took the pirogue with a group of noisy, intrusive tourists, and once we dropped them off in a hotel (electric generator, running water, etc; a shame to consume these resources in such a virgin, untouched area) into the forest we were only 2 people left to go trekk to that wooden hut. Delightful! We do recommend this trip if you care about preserving this unique nature. And are not afraid of sleeping in a very humble hut with all it includes (spiders, etc). That was a hell of an experience and she made us "feel" the spirit of Amazonian Forest and "communicate" with it. I mean, really. Including night walk through the forest and tarantula nest observation with headlamp as only light source. Shivering!

We arrived in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the jungle, we discovered a spectacular place. Looks like a small paradise. we spent for five days with a team that showed and explained the most professional manner on each region, The food was very high standard and served in a stimulating and interesting, Staff courteous and friendly place. Highly recommended for those in poverty experience of a lifetime family Bonavida from ISRAEL.
