Surprisingly nice hotel with spacious, well-appointed rooms, air conditioning, and a great breakfast. The reception staff are also friendly and helpful.

I had an excellent stay at Kapievi and booked again to return because it was such a nice stay.

No doubt one of the best lodges in puerto maldanado. However not luxury and a little rough round the edges.

This place is unreal and Elmer the host is a legend. His property is located in the middle of the jungle and yet pretty close to the town.

When you first arrive in the nearby town, you might feel like you’ve landed somewhere in Iraq – very underdeveloped and not exactly safe.

Saba and Rene are amazing. The food was delicious and the juices each meal from the property were excellent.

It is a wonderful place, far enough from the city to enjoy abundant wildlife and plants.
You feel deeply connected to nature thanks to the beautiful surroundings.

I visited several times just to enjoy the bar and view. Edward and Angela are very kind and I had lovely drinks (pisco sour and aperol spritz) while I relaxed reading. The space is very pretty.

Value for money it was great! The staff is what really stood out, everyone was so nice and tried their best to help with all our needs and ask about our day.

We had a lovely stay here. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a private bathroom. It was very clean and quiet. The food was fantastic and very tasty. The hosts were very kind a d friendly.

Quirquincho is a quiet environment to relax and enjoy nature, it’s not in the middle of the city so you get to enjoy the peace and calm.

Puerto Maldonado is at its best with Isuyama. Can’t recommend a better place to stay other than this. Very charming hosts and also they are the most native authentic from the puerto Maldonado area.

Jaime really cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make sure they are happy. He is super helpful with anything you need.

Unfortunately, out of the city, but it is a nice play to stay and enjoy nature and tranquillity. The dinner was pretty basic, but good. The family living there is also very welcoming.

Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They made our beds, cleaned up our room a bit and gave us fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was big and delicious. A/C was perfect.

From an American Perspective: We stayed two nights at La Habana Amazon Reserve, and loved it! The contrast between Cusco and Puerto Maldonado is stunning for such a short distance away.

This hostel is the best place to stay, in town, probably! The pool was refreshing, there was breakfast, and the beds are comfortable. Great price as well!

We stayed here before our Amazon tour and liked it so much we stayed again after the tour.
Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Breakfast was very tasty.

We stayed one night before our trip to Finca Sachavacayoc. We were very happy to have the AC! We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant — the fish was great.

We enjoyed ourselves at Wasai! The staff is top-notch. Fiorella at the hotel is super helpful and sweet.

Nicer than expected. Clean. Very much appreciated the AC and in hindsight wish I stayed longer and did my jungle day trips from here, vs staying in an ecolodge.
