Just left this hostel around 20 mins ago and I should say my stay there was perfect. The owner was an American guy who was really helpful during my stay.

The owners were very sweet, welcoming and helpful. The whole hostel was beautifully decorated with colors and artwork and theres also a rooftop terrace.

Macambo is located in the center of Iquitos, with very friendly and helpful staff, nice and clean rooms at great prices.

Always a fantastic people, hospitality, and food at Macambo! I have stayed there many times and will be back there soon.

Señora Flor & her husband are very welcoming & even helped us with a problem we had to solve with the slow boat going to Iquitos!

Dorms with AC for 35 soles. Clean. Cold showers with good pressure but can use a upgrade. Simple hostel that does the job.

My girlfriend and I got the private room, number 1. It had its own AC unit, private bathroom with hot water and a gorgeous view of the river overlooking the pier that goes along the river.

Nice quiet accommodation. Stayed at a different accommodation on my first night which was crazy noisy and was glad to change. Aircon and pool are wonderful to cool down. Friendly, helpful staff.

The people are very nice. Rooms are cozy, but they can be cleaner… Some spiderwebs here and there, but not a big deal. The pool makes it a great place, and the AC in the bedrooms is the deal breaker.

The hosts are so good, always ready to help you at any point, going above and beyond all the time. Highly recommend!

This was a great hostel. Friendly hosts and clean and comfortable living. I highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and quiet accommodation.
