This hotel is a real gem — I entered and immediately felt like I was in the Disney movie Encanto, since the architecture reminded me a lot of the featured house in the movie.

I am a traveller who does not need fancy accommodations but look for a clean bed, hot shower, Wi-Fi and friendliness. This hotel had that with a great location!

Very comfortable bed, delicious breakfast with eggs and different teas. The owner, Estella, is very nice and accommodating. Hotel is near many attractions. Highly recommend this small hotel.

We booked this as a last minute change to our schedule. We were really pleasantly surprised to see the room clean and bright which surpassed the expectations which we had.

We arrived after midnight, because the accommodation we had booked on the booking site turned out not to exist.

We stayed a total of 7 nights (with breaks for Machu Pichu and the jungle) at the Matara Greens Hotel and cannot recommend it enough.

Erica was super nice and helpful, she made sure that we had everything that we needed, we felt like home there.
