The Hoteles Costa del Sol is a beauty Designed Hotel with spacious rooms, good room service and friendly personnel!

The only 5 stars hotel in Arequipa, with a very large pool and awesome grounds. Just more expensive to eat at then any other hotels we stayed at during this « Wonders of Peru « tour.

The restaurant, the delicious food and the excellent service Thank you Daniel.

We thought to spend a pleasant time with family but only a despotic treatment was received by the receptionist and manager at that time who said her name was Vanesa Prado, they should train their staff in customer service actually super disappointed and think that they arrived with the excitement of enjoying a family weekend.

Very nice hotel with superb service and comfy beds. A tea kettle in the room would make it excellent.

Very disappointed. Reserved one of the nicer suites and had to sit in the lobby for over 7 hours while they cleaned all the other rooms and not any suites. Was completely unnecessary and this after 26 hour travel to get here. Will never come back. They could have accommodated us much earlier if they chose to.

While I would love to give this 5 stars, I can't. The hotel has a great layout, design and a fabulous pool; however, we had pretty bad service (not reflective of the 5 stars it has as a hotel). We had one waiter who brought us our bill without us asking, and borderline rude on other accounts. That being said the rest of the staff were lovely and super helpful.

Typical and cozy hotel, large and well-appointed rooms, with an equally large bathroom. Very elegant communal spaces, quality sewing and excellent breakfast with a wide choice of sweet and salty. Garden with chance to see a giant turtle and llamas. Recommended, only defect a bit far from the center.

The hotel is the only 5 star hotel in Arequipa. That being said, we didn't have a five-star experience. The grounds are lovely and the interior and rooms are well appointed and decorated. The restaurant food is delicious. Our only problem was the service we received from one waitor. He was a bit of a curmudgeon… I'll chalk it up to a bad day. But hopefully others experience will be better.

Went there because of the restaurant's high rating on TripAdvisor. Location is remote close to boulevards. Air quality in Arequipa is not good that is why, hanging out at swimming pool area and garden was meh. The fact cars are driving close while you are sunbathing at the pools area does not feel any luxury and exclusive and you pay for luxury. Dark atmosphere in lobby. Biggest problem with this place is you need a taxi to go anywhere in Arequipa. Do yourself a favor and get a hotel fee blocks from Plaza de Armas. The service at the hotel is really good. The only downfall was when I've asked for dessert with coffee, after the lunch and saw the restaurant's supervisor rolling eyes. Sorry you make good service but if you have some kind of attitude make better effort to hide it. FYI I didn't stay there but I can afford it.

It is a luxury hotel, really beautiful and very pleasant both by the outside as well as the Interior of the hotel, with various spaces for different types of academic, business or entertainment meetings, with an easy to reach strategic location.

Beautiful construction and spacious rooms. It has a swimming pool and a large park with loose animals, such as llamas, alpacas and a large Galapagos tortoise (terrestrial).

The hotel has excellent rooms and first-class ambiences. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good.
In sum I appreciate all the attentions provided by each and every one of the members of the staff and especially a special thanks to Renzo who put all his effort so that my family and I spend an unforgettable stay.

There is a swimming pool, whirlpool, gym, sauna, bar, restaurant, meeting rooms.
The breakfast is nice, buffet type where you will find a variety of local products.
All the staff are very friendly and attentive to your requirements.
The phrase they use and tell us in all areas is: "Thank you for choosing"… And Don Tomás welcomes you and dismisses you with such kindness that he tears your smiles.

Nice big hotel. Need more staff with better English. All the other hotels we've stayed at in Peru have had better and more staff. Also one bottle of water and one bar of soap for two people is not enough. Pool could be warmer. Breakfast is very, very good.

Very nice place and very quiet to spend the weekend accompanied or family the air is pure and without pollution also without much noise. You will be near the Mall for shopping and walking. The hotel facilities of ve with a lot of order and cleanliness has a very nice pool and many gardens to delight you with the good view.

Excellent service, first class staff. The attention was amazing, the facilities unbeatable, a super eco-friendly atmosphere in the gardens. Totally recommended.

Extraordinary. I forgot a laptop, wallet and keychain in the safe. They called me and coordinated another taxi to give me the meeting with my things at the airport. The first service, the extraordinary breakfast buffet and the friendliness of all was of the best.

Great hotel if you want to stay outside of the city center. Only a short 10-15 minute walk will take you to the heart of Arequipa. The hotel is surrounded by two beautiful parks and is quite private and quiet. The staff are very accommodating and the breakfast was awesome.

Rooms are "okay" for the price.
Quality of food is very low, we got out for lunch and dinner since it's overpriced and not what you would expect from this place.
The service is also by far from any international standard. Whilst ordering dinner once none of the service people were able to explain anything about the food in English. In additon to that after you finished a Glas or bottle no one will ask you if you want more, they'll just take the empty glasses of the table. During no time we were asked how the food was or if we want something else, everything you wanted you had to call a service person and ask for specifically. 0/5.
Room service was requested by us in the morning as we left for a day trip, after 5h we came back to our room which was still as we left it.
You can't drink tab water here in Peru but are advised to drink 1, 5L a day, this said there are only 2x 0, 33L bottles coming with the room a day (junior suite, so one of the higher categories of rooms). Any further water will be charged since you have to take it out of the (expensive) minibar. After a day we had no more water in our room and as no room service came we had to go to the reception and ask for more, which we then had to pay for immediately.
Cola and water in the restaurant comes out of plastic PET bottles (no glass as usual in higher star hotels) and are priced higher than in any supermarket / shop whilst beeing same product.

Hotel Libertador at Arequipa is an exceptionally good hotel. The rooms and their facilities were quite luxurious and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Gonzalo from the Los Robles Restaurant was one such person. The food was great but the service from Gonzalo was just as good. An excellent combination! The hotel is also only a short walk, down scenic streets, to the main square and it's surrounding attractions.

Fantastic hotel, good location, spotless. Very friendly excellent service. The breakfast is out of this world. Pool, gym, two restaurants, gift shop, coca tea available constantly. They also have a small petting zoo. Solid free Wi-Fi. Pricey hotel but worth it. Please note, if you have a meal at the hotel and want to tip your server on the credit card you are using to pay, they cannot charge the tip on your card and the server will not get the money. Make sure you tip in cash — soles or other currency (USD,, EUR. ). Same goes for the people that provide the turn down service — leave some cash on your bed.
