I had the most wonderful stay at Lhotse Hostel. Ebel and his wife were more than accommodating on both of my seperate stays.

Great hostel. Place is super clean and the owners are super friendly. Helped organise huayhuash trek and offered advice on other hikes that can be done unguided.

We arrived very early from our nightbus (07:00) but there was no problem for us to get in our room early, which was very nice.

Though simple room, I felt this hostel is like a family and safe to stay there, as it’s operated by a family and they stay in the same building and you can get supported any time.

Nice spot, if you want to good to laguna 69 or Santa Cruz trek.

We stayed 3 nights at the Tullpa Rumy Lodge. We wanted to be close to the trek for Laguna 69 and Santa Cruz. The staff was very friendly and helpful even if our Spanish was very poor.

Humberto has a wealth of knowledge about about Huaraz and the surrounding areas. He helped us plan a cycling route through the Huayhuash and provided us with a shuttle.

I made a last minute trip to Huaraz in need of a place that would be affordable and friendly—I’m glad to have found Humberto’s homestay.

I recommend staying in this hotel, the atmosphere is very good, very comfortable, the treatment of the lady is very good, punctual breakfasts. The rooms are as they appear in the photo. 10/10.

It’s not hyperbole when I say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s a beautiful property, with a lovely courtyard. The rooms were so comfortable, with supportive neck pillows.

Lovely B&B-style hotel near La Soledad, a leisurely 10-min walk from the Plaza de Armas. The hotel rate comes with a tasty breakfast on its enclosed roof terrace, with greenery everywhere.

Nice staff and clean sheets. This is a very cheap hostel given its standards. Not the most social, but that was not what we were after. Highly recommend!

Chill place to stay. I paid 100 soles for 4 nights in a room with 4 beds (two twin-sized bunk beds) but only had 1 roommate and I think we were the only two staying there.

Stayed a few nights here in preparation for the Huayhuash circuit, and other day walks.
Super friendly staff, easy to communicate with, tidy and comfortable rooms.

We really enjoyed our 1, 5 weeks at the hostal! The owners are very friendly, welcoming and help you with everything you need. We nearly felt like a part of the family. They also have a very cute dog.

Staying there was the best we could do during our stay in Huaraz. The location is calm and with an amazing view of some of the mountain of the cordillera (including the huascaran).

It's really good for the price. You get a towel, toilet paper and hot shower.
The only problem for me, there is a pack of aggressive dogs right in the street of the hostel. They attacked me 3 times.

It's great, I would describe it as a motel with free breakfast. The food and people are great. It's only a minute walk to the main plaza.

We spent 4 nights at Alojamiento Soledad in Huaraz and had a wonderful stay. The staff are super kind and accommodating.

We had a great lodging experience. The place is spotless, comfortable, with great beds and enough blankets for the cool weather. Super clean bathroom with great shower.

Spent 3 nights here. They are very friendly and helpful. $5 per night with breakfast is more than worth it. Room is good and clean.

Rooms are large and equipped with a TV and some furniture to store and order your stuff. The room we were set in (101) was very near to the kitchen and lobby and sound was coming though.
