They make your bed every day, which is great, and they also provide breakfast every day. I wish the curtains were completely blackout, because in the morning, if you want to keep sleeping, the light coming in sometimes doesn’t let you. The staff isn’t very attentive, but the place is functional.

Great spot with good views of the mountains. The owner is very helpful and books tonnes of tours which many of you can sign up for the night before. Very graciously allowed us to use the shower post hike when we were already checked out and waiting for the night bus. Basic rooms but the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is decently stocked with a nice little terrace to socialize. Laundry was fast and well done. The showers had low pressure and were sometimes out of hot water but overall a great stop and great value. Thank you!

We havent stayed here but we booked some hiking tours here! The staff is very kind and helpfull! They even let us use a shower after a hike even tough we did not stay there! Very kind people! And prices of the tours are very good!

This hostel is a pretty good base if you’re hiking in Huaraz. Staff are friendly and it’s easy to book hikes and tours. Our room was clean, however the bathroom unfortunately smelled very strongly of urine. The kitchen was unfortunately also super dirty.

I stayed here for probably 1-1.5 weeks over my time in Huaraz. It's the only hostel in Huaraz that I've seen that has curtains, which is pretty much the sole reason I picked it. The dorm room is 12 people sharing one bathroom, and everyone gets up pretty early for day tours so it wasn't a problem for me since I never went on any day tours while in Huaraz. Bathroom didn't feel the cleanest (or maybe it's just old, I don't know), and there's no soap provided, ran out of toilet paper many times as well, doesn't have the best ventilation. Showers are hot which is good. Beds are comfortable, there's a light and outlet in the bunk, small-ish lockers in the room, pretty easy to meet people. Breakfast was basic: tea / coffee / juice, bread with butter / jam, and then a dish (over my time here, the dishes I had were: egg, pancake with a few slices of banana, and guac). Wifi worked fine, common areas are right next to some private rooms so not ideal to have a chat or call apparently. The hostel has their own tour agency — they outsource the tours to other companies though (I found out about this through talking to others) and one of the ones they work with don't have great reviews, so I never went on any tours with them as I want to make sure I get the experience I want. All in all a decent hostel, maybe could use an upgrade / deep cleaning.

This is the budget place to stay in Huaraz.
The staff (the family that owns the hostel) is very nice, always helpful; the rooms are decent with everything you need, water as hot as can be.
They also kept our stuff during the 4 days of the santa cruz trekking and upon our return allowed us to take a shower and rearrange our bags, free of charge. A small, but very nice detail.
Would recommend!

We spent a week here, it was a very nice experience. The owners were a friendly family who were eager to help us and who provided us with some nice options for hiking as well!
Our room was clean and got tidied up every day. It got a bit noisy from time to time, though. The breakfast on the roof with a nice view was a nice bonus.
Altogether, a great stay for a good prima with very fine service.

We stayed at Krusty Hostel B&B before and after completing the Huayhuash Circuit, and it was the perfect base for our time in Huaraz. The team made everything incredibly easy — from coordinating acclimatisation hikes before the trek to helping us explore the region afterwards. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, and the staff were always helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone trekking in the Cordillera Blanca or Huayhuash!

Stayed a total of 6 nights, our room was really nice. A really good price for a private room with ensuite. The showers are HOT and have good pressure, the beds are comfortable and in general the hostel was very clean. The included breakfast was good, always included bread rolls, jam, and butter, and it rotated between eggs, pancakes and French toast as well! There is a functional kitchen and a nice rooftop terrace too. The hostel can be very noisy though, especially with so many people leaving early for hikes. But overall, a really great hostel with friendly staff.

Hygiene in this hostel is non-existent. You should definitely avoid this one!
In the dorm there is only one toilet and one shower for 12/24 people. The bathroom is disgusting, if you shower there without shoes you risk catching a virus on your feet. The bathroom smells very strongly of urine.
The kitchen is very old and run down and the cupboards are moldy from the ceiling.
Our bed sheets were dirty, so either not washed or poorly washed.
There was no toilet paper in the whole house, so make sure to bring your own!

We booked a private room for three people. Booking was confirmed. But when we arrived he said no booking bla bla bla. It was during Easter, so everything fully booked. Wanted to sell us a 12 bed room dorm for more money than the private room. In general very unfriendly and no service.

Amazing staff — Ivan was so friendly and helpful with booking tours (which are the best deal in town! ) And so knowledgeable about the area and best hikes to do. Being able to do laundry on site with a 6 hour turnaround is very impressive! He also let us check out late so we had somewhere to leave our bags. Thanks for a great stay and great value!

Incredible hostel! The staff are so wonderful and kind! The hostel is very clean, and we always had hot water! The breakfast food is so yummy. The excursions from the hostel are such great deals, and we appreciated the chance to rent equipment for hikes from the hostel. Ivan was so helpful and amazing! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This is a family owned hotel and they go above and beyond for you! Checked out super late at 7 pm and checked in super early without being charged for any of it! They also have a ton of tours leaving from the hostel and they are all super reasonable! 10 mins walk from the city center — felt super safe. Simple breakfast is included!

Good option for staying in Huaraz. Rooms was cleaned daily and had hot water in the shower all day. Front desk 24/7 which was also nice.
There’s no social activity (or socialization) at all, if you’re looking for that that’s not the hostel for you.
They also have trips that you can book through them, pick up from the hostel.
Breakfast was nice (eggs, bread, butter and jam).

Not impressive but nothing to complain about either. Comfortable beds and warm showers. That’s more than what I’ve got at many other hostels in the area. The breakfast is simple but always on time. Only negative (for me) was that it has a lot of locals as well rather than other tourists.

Stayed here before and after our trek! Comfy rooms with good hot showers! We did laundry here twice and it is amazing, it smells so so good and is quick!

I never right reviews but thought I would for this place as it was so good! It’s also quiet bc it’s slight out of town Which is great!
