What a gem of a hotel in a quiet area of Huaraz, yet close enough to the city center to easily walk in 10 minutes. The entire staff was superb. Great customer service, always aiming to please.

Very clean and modern hostal. Few things to work on: hot water not only when you ask for it, breakfast box for hikers, breakfast is simple.

Fantastically chilled place just a short walk from the centre of town. Rooms spotlessly clean staff very attentive. A couple of good chill out areas and a roof top view.

We originally only booked one night but ended up staying a week in total. We were bike packers and kept heading back to Casa de Ana. Ana and her parents are lovely and welcomed us with open arms.

The hotel is a really nice and cousy place to stay out of the hectic of Huaraz. The hotel is located on the outskirts from Huaraz. The hotel has nice and comfortable rooms and nice share spaces.

Based on the recommendation of a friend, we stayed at the hotel for several nights between different tours.

We arrived at this beautiful boutique hotel early in the morning from our bus journey. The staff were very kind to allow us to check in early without fee as they had our room ready.

Wonderful place to stay in Huaraz as a a base for adventures in the surrounding area! It has a great garden to relax in, good Wi-Fi, and clean rooms. The breakfast is an added bonus.

Best showers and cleanest rooms we have found in peru! The staff are nice and the location is super convenient (lavanderia right out front). Breakfast was fine, and the Wi-Fi worked great.

I stayed at the hotel before and after my santa cruz and Huayhuash treks for 6 nights in total. The hotel is very clean and most importantly quiet.

Love coming here, it is my 3rd year. The rooms with private bathrooms are clean. And the family running the hotel are very helpful and knowledgeable with any question you may have. Breakfast included.

Humberto has a wealth of knowledge about about Huaraz and the surrounding areas. He helped us plan a cycling route through the Huayhuash and provided us with a shuttle.

I used Akilpo as a base for trekking and need to praise both services; both the trekking company and the guest house.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. When our hike started at 4 a. M. They even prepared a breakfast for us to take along.
What really stood out was the staff.

It’s not hyperbole when I say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s a beautiful property, with a lovely courtyard. The rooms were so comfortable, with supportive neck pillows.

Lovely B&B-style hotel near La Soledad, a leisurely 10-min walk from the Plaza de Armas. The hotel rate comes with a tasty breakfast on its enclosed roof terrace, with greenery everywhere.

Hot water was very limited. The room was clean, although dated, just like the kitchen and the rest of the hostel.

This was our favourite hostel in Huaraz. It’s a great location next to the market. The breakfast is good, kitchen was great and there are plenty of different spaces to hang out.

Clean comfortable and kind people. Although there is no kitchen they gave me hot water to eat some instant soup since I was too tired to go eat at a restaurant after traveling for 20 hours. :)

Staying there was the best we could do during our stay in Huaraz. The location is calm and with an amazing view of some of the mountain of the cordillera (including the huascaran).
