I can't imagine this can be beaten for a budget stay. Great value for an ensuite room with a hot shower.
Hostel has a kitchen, rooftop and relaxation area.

I had the most wonderful stay at Lhotse Hostel. Ebel and his wife were more than accommodating on both of my seperate stays.

We arrived very early from our nightbus (07:00) but there was no problem for us to get in our room early, which was very nice.

Though simple room, I felt this hostel is like a family and safe to stay there, as it’s operated by a family and they stay in the same building and you can get supported any time.

Hot water was very limited. The room was clean, although dated, just like the kitchen and the rest of the hostel.

This was our favourite hostel in Huaraz. It’s a great location next to the market. The breakfast is good, kitchen was great and there are plenty of different spaces to hang out.

Clean comfortable and kind people. Although there is no kitchen they gave me hot water to eat some instant soup since I was too tired to go eat at a restaurant after traveling for 20 hours. :)

Staying there was the best we could do during our stay in Huaraz. The location is calm and with an amazing view of some of the mountain of the cordillera (including the huascaran).

Carla is lovely and was a great host throughout our week long stay (Oct ‘25). She was friendly, easy going and very happy to help us with advice on hikes/activities in the area surrounding Huaraz.

Beautiful place, amazing host and nice location if you like to be outside of a busy town. I can’t recommend enough this place, amazing garden!

Nice staff and clean sheets. This is a very cheap hostel given its standards. Not the most social, but that was not what we were after. Highly recommend!

Chill place to stay. I paid 100 soles for 4 nights in a room with 4 beds (two twin-sized bunk beds) but only had 1 roommate and I think we were the only two staying there.

Superb place. Located slightly outside the centre, but I love walking and I finally found the location to be ideal.

This hostel is amazing, its the perfect place for climbers to meet other climbers and the owner Omar and his family are so kind and welcoming!

Good hostel, fair prices for a nice room. Far from the center. The owner is really nice and allowed us to keep our begs for storage a few time when we went for hiking. The place is very clean.

This hostel is a great stay! Welcoming staff, comfy beds, and hot showers. There is an in house rock wall with a restaurant attached which is usually busy and a fun place to socialize.

Ron is such a wonderful host, always a helping hand and very wise. The volunteers, Kiran and Enrique, are a joy to be around too. A peaceful spot to enjoy your time in and around Huaraz.

Great hostel, especially for trekkers. Very relaxed and accommodating, will let you leave your bags in storage and have showers and bathrooms for after your trek!

Best value for a private room in Huaraz! Angel and his family were very accommodating, they allowed me to check into my room when I arrived at 6am, which was really appreciated.

Great low-budget place for hiking enthusiasts! Stayed for 6 nights and booked all my tours with them for the usual prices.
