A great apartment in Huaraz. I stayed there for five days in July to go on tours of Huascarán National Park. Although the apartment is very reasonably priced, there is really nothing—or almost nothing—to complain about. Since I arrived by bus from Lima very early in the morning, I contacted the landlady to ask if I could drop off my bags before check-in. Because the apartment was vacant, I was allowed to move in immediately at no extra cost. The landlady gave me a very warm welcome and explained everything in detail (thanks to Google Translate). The apartment consists of a bedroom, a spacious living room with an adjoining dining area, and a kitchen. I even had two bathrooms with showers that provided good hot water. The city center is within a five-minute walk; there, you can find all kinds of shops, banks, and similar amenities.
I have only two minor complaints: the kitchen is relatively sparsely equipped—if you plan to cook for yourself, you’ll need to pick up a few extra items to manage properly. However, this likely won't be an issue for most people, as there are plenty of dining options in Huaraz.
The second point concerns the heating (or lack thereof). Based on my experience, this seems to be the norm in the Andean region, despite the biting cold temperatures; still, for future guests, I would love to see at least a small electric heater provided.
Since everything else was absolutely perfect, I’m not deducting any points for this. Many thanks for the wonderful time!

We spent 4 wonderful days in Huaraz and Thanks yo Ms Rosa for being such a gracious host. Depamia is very well appointed, with very comfortable furniture, great beds and 2 very new bathrooms. It has a fully furnished kitchen and washing machine and a cute little balcony overlooking the street, with no street noise. We had a very comfortable stay. Before we left, we asked Ms Rosa to help organise a taxi and she very promptly did so. We rate Depamia very high.
