This house is wonderful. Olivia is an amazing host! There are monkeys and sloths on the property and the beach bar is right across if you want a drink. You can’t swim in the beach, but there is a pool which is great! The kitchen is really superbly stocked and Olivia makes the most delicious breakfast every morning. We will be back!
We stayed for 2 nights in the 2 downstairs rooms.
Location: on Bluff beach, near a beach bar and near a few good restaurants.
Rooms: comfy bed, rooms dark and not always hot water available.
Breakfast: I don’t really eat eggs at breakfast. Would have liked more fruit and just yogurt. Breakfast is ok but I didnt love it.
General feel: pool area, pool seats etc are a bit run down. Garden is nice with lots of birds and a sloth that shows himself once in a while.
We had a good time here buy from the 6 hotels we visited in Panama, this was our least favourite. It was the same price as the others but it lacked the waw factor. I would still advise a stay here though.

A wonderful location to get away from it all. Very tropical location with very long beach walks. It is unsafe to swim at the beach, because the surf is so rough. It is also a very slow 4WD taxi drive to Bocas, so get all your groceries there before you go.
No bars and loud music here, like you can get in Bocas Town, however, there is no glass in the windows and doors, only insect screens, so the noise from birds and howler monkeys can be very loud in the mornings.
Don’t book the room that Is directly under the breakfast area on the deck above. The noise is unbelievable if you are trying to have a sleep-in; especially if there are children there. Some padding on the legs of the very heavy dining chairs might cut the noise a lot.
The pool was good and had padded chairs that were okay to sit on, but the lounge chairs were not comfortable.
The host is amazing. She was very helpful in many respects. Breakfast was brilliant, and we had the access to the large fridge in the common kitchen There was no kettle in the room.
The host runs a very good restaurant which you can walk to down the road, but there is also an excellent one just outside the front gate.
Overall, a very nice place to stay.
