Radisson Colon 2000 Hotel & Casino at Cruise Port & Duty Free Mall

Based on passed experiences at different hotels the upkeep of the room needs further attention especially the flooring, needs to buffed, the room have a smells of being closed for quite some time. No accommodations was giving to me for including breakfast in my stay, which I missed, cause I always do, only realized I missed it when notified at check-in.

It was okay. The swimming pool is okay, no jacuzzi.
Great sauna and steam bath.
Staff very co operative.
The wake up call, I told him to wake me up at 8:30am, he woke me up at 6 am. If you are hosting an international client, the employees are expected to have a better command in English.
The gym was good.

The hotel is great! Spacious and clean modern rooms and very nice.
I want to give special compliments to Diana the bartender in the lobby bar, she is super nice and attentive and I enjoyed the night thanks to her!
Good food in the bar, all is good.
If I come back to Colon, this is the only place I would stay!

I stayed here for a week with my two girls. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The room was modern and well maintained. We had the hotel breakfast which was included and the food offering we’re far superior to any breakfast buffet I’ve had in the states. Room service rates were very reasonable. Most importantly I felt very safe as a woman staying here with my girls. The location is excellent, right by the water and within walking distance of the Colon 2000 Mall, Zona Libre and a Súper 99 grocery store. This will be my choice for all future visits to Colon.

This hotel is pretty average and I would typically not bother to write a review. However, I have to tell you about what makes it exceptional — the STAFF — every single interaction was amazing. The food at the Drake Restaurant was excellent, amazing value and tasty. The chef prepared dishes showing the varied options of the daily special and personally showed them to us. There were lots of wait staff and the service they provided was better than I would expect in a five star restaurant. They waited attentively to ensure you had what you needed and plates were removed in a timely manner. The breakfast buffet was better than any I have seen. So many options… this morning it even included chicken wings… the only restaurant disappointment was the cappuccino. The coffee was good but the cappuccino less than expectations. When I needed ice in my cooler for a day trip, the concierge filled my cooler. When I asked about check out time, Javier Mendoza asked what time I would like, giving me a late check out so I could go across the street to the Zona Libre, without worrying about getting back by noon to check out. All the staff were Spanish speaking, yet they all spoke English, as well. I highly recommend this place if you need a place to stay in Colon and make sure you take the time for a meal at the Drake.

Rooms are a bit outdated. Beds are fine but in general some fresh paint will make it look a lot newer.
Personal is friendly and attentive.

The service was some of the best I have experienced in Panama. Very sweet staff.

The room was damp and smelly. Full of MOLD and MILDEW. Had to keep the balcony door open all the time. Went to the front desk and was offered an old plugin to musk the odor of mildew. Finally became so ill, with fever, after a week in that room. Proceeded to contact front desk. No response. Went to sleep in the lobby. Was told the front desk person was in the bathroom for over an hour. Was moved at 2am to the room next door without any keys. Had to keep the room door OPEN (system was down to program keys) At no time, there was an offer to compensate for the TERRIBLE room condition. Cleaning lady had "Milti Cleaner anti hongos" and other chemicals.

We stayed at the Radisson 2000 the night before our cruise. The cruise line picked up bags at the hotel in the morning and it was an easy five minute walk to the cruise terminal. Easiest transfer we’ve ever had for a cruise. We visited over Easter weekend so the casino and most shops and restaurants were closed, but we really enjoyed the hotel restaurant. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The rooms were a bit dated, but the bed was comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep. Very good option for cruisers.

Hotel with a really nice infrastructure. The rooms were always clean and the staff team is well trained to present a pleasant specially Javier and Reina.
The surround area isn’t that nice but since we were in a business trip, we stayed near by our partners which was another good.

Perfect service! Diana Patrícia at the bar was just a incredible, impeccable and attentive. So kind and caring person. Cold beer and nice music.

Positive: Location near the Free Zone. Staff were helpful and showed reasonable attitude to the limits of their training. Negative: The general surroundings outside the hotel could be improved as it gave the aura of a very low end hotel. I ordered a pina colada from the bar, something poured from a bottle and served to me. Awful!

TOP 5 WORST HOTELS OF THE WORLD! I arrived at 10:45pm at the reception… no options to eat, no deliveries, no recommendation from the staff… there is not even WATER in the room! The only option was grabbing some snacks from the casino but honestly I did not go as it looked a bit scary. The room is old and smelly. Food and water diet for 6h until breakfast is open! Not recommended AT ALL!
