Having an amazing stay here. Hotel is clean and rooms are cozy and comfortable. All the staffs are very helpful and friendly. They are always at your service. Environment is also good.

Modern hotel with huge spacious rooms and a welcoming reception. Beds were comfy and ac was good. Huge shoutout to tanmay the manager at front desk who made us feel at home.

Ahmed is such a friendly and welcoming person. We absolutely loved our stay, the room was spacious and clean.

Al Shuruq is a great base if you are planning to visit Jebel Shams, Misfat, Bahla, and Nizwa, especially considering the cost compared to those areas.

Great room, spacious, clean & tidy. Nice view.
Everything works good in the room.
Owner friendly & helpful.
One note that there is no elevator and the room at 3rd floor.

Excellent … they was minor things that needed maintenance but even though I'll give it 9/10 very good place for a romantic getaway. The owner was super kind.

Great place to stay overnight after driving through Wadi Bani Awf. Good restaurant within walking distance. The house is off the beaten track so it's quiet and you can get a good night's sleep.

Owner is so supportive and hospitalized me alot. Owner and his wife are ready to answer about everything may happen. There is small yard back of the house which is amazing but not completed yet.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The rooms have a very traditional look and feel plus a modern bathroom and AC in the room.

Cozy Rooms in an old Omani building. The area surrounded by palms oasis where you can take a walk, ride bikes, scooters, houses.
Rooms were clean and staff were nice and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay in October 2025. The hostel is great and beautifully located, especially with its proximity to the mountains. The host is super friendly and accommodating.
