Booked three nights at this lodging not real sure what to expect. Two of us went to Svalbard to snow mobile and explore the baren, cold, hilly terrain of the snowy majestic islands of Svalbard.
It's about a mile and a half out of town. We didn't mind the walk but others may want a taxi. The bar does a fixed meal each night. It was lasagne one night and chicken stew another.
I came to Coal Miners Cabins for 4 night stay and it met my expectations. Staff was super helpful, knowledgable and reception open at all times.
