Basic accommodation but clean, as it’s a hostel you will have to make your own bed up, food is amazing very fresh all local and breakfast is plentiful and great variety. Very friendly staff as well, would definitely go back.

Really nice place! View is great. Rooms were clean and spacious (bathroom not so big) dining / common area was really cozy. The taco and chocolate moose cake thing were bloody beautiful! Not a bad location, just a short walk into town.

A really nice hostel to stay at. It has small, clean rooms "dorm style" with a nice common room. It also has some good views of the lake and surrounding peaks. Don't miss the excellent breakfast!

The peacful place with a nice rooms overlooking the lake. Good standard of the rooms in the price level. Let alone the breakfast — super eco foodie. The staff was really helpful and cheerful. Close location to the centre of Voss town.

Very nice hostel. We were there a couple of times with children, it worked well. + For good breakfast but — for shabby guest kitchen.

We stayed at the Voss hostel for 1 night. The staff was very welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean. The location was just 10mins walk from the railway station and bus station. I would highly recommend this hostel.

The staff is friendly and super helpful. Delicious breakfasts and amazing traditional Norwegian suppers. Beautiful area. Perfect holiday!

The breakfast is outstanding. If you are staying definitely pay to have it — worth every penny. Also the balcony view is amazing.

Endearing vista and nicely presented facilities. Walking distance to Voss and a nice walk it is too. Fine weather was yo our advantage during our stay.

This is a hostel, so it's shared rooms 2 bunks and1 single, good location near train station, town and bus routes. Lakeside bbq area, canoe hire. Reception selling tea coffee beer and wine. Good breakfast selection, happy to and probably will use again.

Located near to the train station. Nice clean rooms, comfy beds, impressive (by hostel standard) breakfast spread, friendly staff. We were lucky to get a room with a breathtaking view of the lake. Short walk to town area where supermarkets are located. Well equipped communal kitchen. I will be back.

The rooms facing the lake are awesome and quiet. Good mattresses. There is a nice terrace overlooking the lake.
The breakfast is one of the best I ever had. They have organic bread, jams and offer salmon, sild, several cereals, cold cuts, fruit, coffee, teas, yoghurts and organic herbs from the hostel's garden.
However, the rooms facing the road might suffer noise from the road and railroad tracks.

Nice hostel by the lake. It has a couple nice hammack at the back. The room was clean and spacious. It is about 15 min walk from the train station.

The beds were not made prior to the arrival — we were given bedsheets to make beds ourselves. The towels were not provided and we had to rent it at an add'l price. The mattresses were worn out — the room was not clean. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi however its spotty and kept dropping. The complimentary breakfast buffet was ok, however they were out of creme/half-and-half by 8am. We stayed there for a night. The room view was beautiful — which is the only thing that brightened up this stay.

The best thing I found is the breakfast, which offers you many choices, including salmon, 3 flavous of yogart, eggs and many other things. The double room we ordered has actually 4 beds, with private shower and toilet, and it's clean. I don't know why people complained much about it, maybe you should try the double room.

This hotel offers no service, you have to get towels and bed sheets from the reception. The room was everything but clean. Curtains were disgusting and broken. And most of all the shower-toilet was at least 20 yrs old. I dont even talk about the breakfast that was basically two slices of "organic" Apple. The view on the lake is amazing, but before being able to appreciate it, you will have to cope with the jail like corridor of this hotel. To avoid at all price.

The best thing about this place was the fresh, organic breakfast. The worst thing were the bathrooms. Our bathroom was tiny and it had a strong pee smell. No lockers and keys to room left at reception in a basket on the counter. It's a short direct walk from the Voss train station. Wi-fi only in the common room. Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains in the back. Great location for the Fjord tours. Too expensive for what it was, but that's Norway.
