Beautiful rooms, courteous staff, but the hospitality experience needs work.
We recently stayed here and had a generally pleasant stay, particularly because the rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable, the environment is calm, and the staff are courteous and responsive when issues are brought to their attention. There is clearly a lot to like about the property.
That said, for a hotel of this size, standard and price point, I think there are several areas where the overall hospitality experience needs considerable improvement.
The biggest area for improvement, however, is food service.
For a hotel at this price point, I found the breakfast arrangement quite limiting. Guests are given a form to select a breakfast option, which is then brought to the room. At comparable hotels, I would generally expect a breakfast buffet or at least a considerably broader breakfast offering where guests can go to the restaurant and choose what they want.
The food itself was mixed. Some of the meals we had were excellent. The seafood okra was particularly good, as was the spaghetti and the rice and stew. The sauce served with the yamarita was also fantastic. Unfortunately, the yamarita itself was extremely hard and not well seasoned. The English breakfast was also underwhelming: bread, fried eggs, one sausage and a small portion of baked beans is a rather sparse interpretation of an English breakfast, particularly when there was no bacon, butter or other usual accompaniments.
My stay at Brave Hotel in Ibadan was truly outstanding. The hospitality was amazing from start to finish, and the staff went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable. I must especially commend the housekeeping team their honesty and integrity are unmatched. During my stay, I accidentally left behind my expensive Gucci watch and bracelet, and to my surprise, the housekeepers found them and kept them safely for me. This level of trustworthiness is rare, especially when compared to some hotels where guests’ belongings go missing. Brave Hotel proved that there are still places where staff value professionalism, honesty, and genuine care for their guests. I highly recommend Brave Hotel to anyone visiting Ibadan. Their service, hospitality, and integrity deserve 100%. 💯

Brava hotel met and exceeded all my expectations.
First off, they sent a car to pick us up from the train station — that was an amazing first impression.
Located on Samonda Road, Bodija, the setting was beautiful and very aesthetic. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and fresh with no unpleasant odors. We also had full access to Netflix and Prime Video which worked perfectly.
The food was delicious and the staff were warm, courteous, and very professional.
I would absolutely stay here again.
