Bon Hotel Nest

Lovely experience as I lodge there for my wedding but my room didn’t have a mirror except in the toilet which I didn’t like.

Nice hotel. Carpets need to be removed on 1st and 2nd floor to make the hotel airy and not damp, the last floor is all tiles and nice. The location is very nice and quiet.

Poor room condition and quack customer service. The room access card was not working. Had to be accompanied by a staff everytime I step out and need to re-enter the room. Intercom was out of commission, couldn't call restaurant or from desk from the room. You have to request Wi-Fi before you are given. Overhead shower wasnt working.

Staff always asking “anything for the boys” … room in poor quality. Had to be switched to another room. Yet the room not good enough. Bathroom had a weird smell. Visitors bathroom in the suite I was in had leftover tissue. Tv quality was bad. Resolution like in the 1970’s. Food crazy expensive but that’s expected. The only good thing about the place was the seafood okra. Pool not clean enough to swim in.

Great experience, courteous staff, breakfast buffet wonderful. Outdoor bar experience good.

Value for money, great staff, room comes with breakfast. Beautiful ambiance and environment. Why pay for more. I'd recommend it any day.

A great place to stay, seamless service, calm and serene environment. All staffs were good at their job (professionalism at it’s peak)

It was a pleasant stay with excellent services all round.
The hotel is safe, extremely neat with a great ambience.
The sleeping was quite comfortable too.

Be careful when booking, if for any reason you are cancelling your booking; refund policy is ridiculous.
After filling some ridiculous form, you will not hear anything further.
Upon calls and chat, you will be told it takes 1 whole month to process the refund.
Otherwise it’s a good facility with poor cancellation and refund policy.

Book if you want an UNRESTFUL stay!

Could hardly sleep because there was some kind of makeshift sink/kitchen behind my room and the walls are paper thin; you hear EVERYTHING that's going on outside. Staff did not stop banging doors, washing plates, talking loudly etc.
Tried to make a call to the front desk at 1am because the noise had gotten really bad, only to find that the phone in my room wasn't working, so I had to walk to the front desk (at 1am) to complain about the noise. It reduced but not significantly. Managed to get a few hours of sleep from 3am before the noise picked up again at 7am.
Then the maintenance culture (for the rooms) is terrible; stained pillowcases, phones that don't work (another guest confirmed this at checkout), missing door chain lock, wardrobe that didn't close, broken showerhead hangers, loose sockets, limescale, wobbly tables, stained couch, an extractor fan that did't work, trip hazard carpet.
If you absolutely HAVE to stay here and plan to get some sleep, avoid any room close to that makeshift sink (115, 117, 119), however my family that was across complained about noise from the pool/outside lounge.
The only thing they have going for them is a decent food selection at breakfast and a nice looking reception area & dining room.

This was a cute hotel, great ambience and vibe. The room came with breakfast for two which was a first for me as hotels typically offer just one. The food was good, a solid 7/10. This is a spot that Ibadan residents enjoying coming to spend their evenings so sometimes the noise from the poolside can be distracting. You can ask go get a room that faces the other side of the hotel.

The receptionist tried to play a fast one on us, after booking online several days before. She later gave us a terrible room, no windows, the bathroom was not clean, no floor towels.
That hotel can do better.

Had a good time in my short stay.
The food was really nice.
A serene environment.
Breakfast was cosy and excellent, and cusine was not so much yet excellent.
However, more vanity kits should be added, sugar or creamer, also.
The shower in the bathroom never got hot on my day two. I was legit concerned for myself.

Bon Nest is in a good location, and the decor of the public places is very modern.
The staff are very polite and helpful within the boundaries of what they can do.
I am only giving this place a 3 because of the staff; I would not want to downplay their dedication; otherwise, it would have been less.
Please, if you are going to use this hotel, make sure that you are not allocated a room near the poolside, as the noise from their bar is very bad.
Almost every evening of my stay, which was over 5 nights, I had to call reception and ask when the noise would stop.
One night l had to call at 23:20 to ask when the music will stop. I later discovered that l was not the only one who experienced the extremely loud music. I met a customer in the reception area and he said the same thing.
In addition, they had building works, which they did not pre-warn. The banging of the roof was so bad that I called reception again and asked when the building works started and ended so I could plan my day. Unfortunately, the staff could not answer.
When I checked in, it took at least three rooms before I could check in because there were gaps around the doors. These doors did not have mosquito nets on them, which can give access to mosquitoes.
In summary, the place is okay, and the staff are good, but management needs to do something about the noise. At least warn people about the noise so they know the consequences of a room facing the pool area.
I am not likely to stay there again.

This hotel is located along Oduduwa Street, Adeyi, Bodija. I spent 3 nights at this hotel. The location is so serene, secluded and devoid of bustling and hassling markets and malls. BON is home away from home.
The rooms are very good. I stayed in the Executive room, the bed was super comfortable, AC was Ok, the lavatory was very good.
The front desk staff are courteous, good mannered and friendly. The buffet breakfast was also good though, there are few cuisines to choose from.
The parking space is spacious with with security personnel always available.

The hotel is in a nice and quiet part of the city. The grounds are well kept and very pleasant. The rooms are very nice, spacious, well appointed and beautifully maintained.
The staff are very pleasant and carry themselves with an air of professionalism.
All in all, a pleasant place to stay while travelling for work/business.

Firstly, I am glad we have a hotel with the level of dedication to hospitality that Bon Hotel, Bodija has shown. I stayed here for a week during a trip back home, and it was a good experience. I would've given 5 stars easily but settled for 4 due to a need to change rooms 3x due to air conditioning issues, ripped mosquito net, and unacceptable bathroom condition. The good thing is that the management reached quickly. My advice will be to check these issues before allocation. The staff were way way polite to guests, which I found refreshingly unique. Customer services has t been o e of our greatest stress in Nigeria, but I would say 100% every staff member I came across made it a point of duty to be polite and respectful. Even when you ask a plumber for a cup of coffee, they will acknowledge and pass the information on to the right team. I am a strong advocate for great customer services and will say Bon Hotel has fantastic customer service, and it's evident in their staff behaviour towards guests. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and business associates and will be back again soon!
