The house, pool and service are absolutely amazing! Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Juan del Sur.

Villas are spacious and comfortable, AC in the living room is a plus. One con is the drive through the hill.

Kraken Bar was a great spot to relax and enjoy the beach, with a lovely salad, a couple of beers, and an ocean view.

Amazing, relaxing space with incredible food and great drinks. Sunsets are second to none here and the staff are top notch.

We loved the hotel; it has a great location. You can walk along the seaside and make your own campfire. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine by the sea.

Excellent place to stay, especially if you want to surf. Our surf guide (Destin) is awesome and keeps the stoke high. We're able to hit so many different breaks, by boat and car.

Stayed there for 3 weeks and it really felt like home quick. Really nice owners, clean and cozy rooms and its really quiet and peaceful at day and night.

I really enjoyed this museum (and I'm not a big museum guy). The pottery collection was impressive and is well worth the visit.

MUSEUM UPDATED PRICES AND REVIEW: As of June 2025 it is now $10/person for both the pottery and currency collections or $7/person for only pottery.

The people were friendly and the location is great. Stayed in a private room and, even though the place itself is authentic, it needs a bit of attention. A lot of space upstairs to relax.

This is am excellent choice for a shared room or a private room. It is only one block from the beach and they have tons of space to hang out and work or just relax.

Spent an amazing few days at The Space in San Juan del Sur. The vibe is the perfect mix of social and relaxed. The staff were super welcoming and created such an amazing atmosphere every night.

Came to this location with a group. I truly enjoyed my time there and you cannot beat the views! The only negatives is that it is not easily accessible and the A/C wasn't working in one of the rooms.

Excellent attention, spectacular view towards the bay, a very quiet and private place to be with family, the pool very nice as well as the house and the spacious and comfortable rooms.

A truly magical place! With spacious rooms, super friendly staff and very cute cats. The location gives you a fantastic view of the lake and near by volcano. I could not recommend Omaja Hotel enough.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Omaja in Ometepe. The customer service was excellent — the staff was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Had to pay extra $30 USD for AC. Staff was accommodating liked being able to buy drinks there. Pool was nice.

Overall the stay is good. Staff is sweet, place is nice and relaxing with a pool and places to relax. A little walk to things but they have motos for rent on property.

25 USD to enter but you can utilize all of them in the restaurant that has great variety and good food — while watching waves.

Overlooking the Popoyo main break, food and drink, board rentals and a view of the beach. Pool table for those that do not surf and showers for those that do. Storage lockers and cold Tonas.

Great location in SJDS and views of the ocean from the balconies, but one night we were woken up at 4am by a night club down the hill.

This was such a nice space to retreat to after being in the hustle and bustle of downtown San Juan.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of town but with an incredible view over the bay.

My sister and I were delighted by this intimate, Spanish Colonial style guest house, fronting the majestic Pacific Ocean at El Coco. Our host Kat was amazing;friendly and so helpful.

Awesome place tucked away right on the beach in Playa El Coco! Stunning beach, great service, and awesome food! Katherine and the whole team does an amazing job, loved the fried fish and fresh juices!

We stayed first at the surf ranch in sjds and they told us they have this one in popoyo, we thought it was similar but we are mind blown, this surf ranch is 20 times the size!

Great house to hang with friends, plenty of space with huge rooms and all ACs working perfectly. View is great and so kitchen appliances at point, not safe for kids tho.
