Everything about the Hotel, was wonderful! the people! Kevin, Fran, the Ladies in the kitchen, the owner was super cool, thank you, will not stay no wherever else but at your wonderful place, Thank you again.

Very grateful and satisfied with the working staff of this hotel, people very pleasant and attentive, always willing to help and give an excellent service. The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean. The food is very rich and with reasonable prices. They have a swimming pool and areas to relax, also provide Wi-Fi and bicycle rental. A place that I definitely need to recommend, I'm sure that if the visit will be as happy as I am with the service that they provide.

From start to finish Hotel La Pólvora owner and staff were fantastic! My fiancé and I stayed in the secret cottage located in the back, and I have to say this was one of the best spots during our visit so far in Nicaragua. We had our own private place located in the back, equipped with a kitchen, drinks in the fridge, and bottled water to drink. They have people on site ready to pick you up and drop you off at the airport, also the staff has many tours avaible at a great price! We highly recommend staying here, and checking out the secret cottage! Very romantic experience, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delightful in every way; highly recommended!

Really beautiful hotel with colorful cement tile, wonderful pool and courtyard surrounded by fruit trees. Rooms are cool and cozy with AC and fans and biggest bathroom I have seen in Nicaragua. It is a bit of a hike to get to the main part of town but with pool, food available and honor bar here, staying home after a long day sightseeing is just what I need.

Had a great time here. The people are very friendly and the service is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. It is a little off the beaten track but the walk to the centre of town is easy to manage. The continental breakfast was great. All in all a great experience!

Awesome hotel! Friendly staff, great food and absolutely awesome for the kids. The pool was a hit on the hot days and we felt totally safe here. Definitely check it out if you are ever in Granada, Nicaragua.

An absolute oasis. Clean, safe with an incredibly friendly staff and owner, this was a great find. Breakfast was amazing and it was very close to the town square. Absolutely gorgeous property.

Awesome place for a stay with good friendly service. Breakfast included sucks. $5 extra got me a Nicaraguan semi style dish as it was missing cheese… You can't claim a Nicaragua style dish for extra cash with out nica cheese with the gallopinto. Come on lol good relaxing place can't complain other that I pay extra for breakfast as the one included and pay for was Mainly fruits.

Good place, clean and very pretty!

Delightful boutique hotel in Granada. The style is minimalist chic with beautiful dark hardwoods and handmade tile details. Its situated just outside the hustle of downtown, with an easy 5 minute walk to everything, which allowed us to relax at the end of the day, away from the crowds and sounds. The staff were incredible. Every single employee was gentle, kind and helpful. We were particularly impressed with the people. The proprietor and his crew genuinely care about your trip and that you enjoy their city. They helped us with everything from reservations, recommendations, even helped us to retrieve our lost baggage. We'll be back.

Excellent rooms and good service.

Like many buildings in the city, you can't judge this hotel from the exterior. Well kept and freshly painted, the narrow frontage opens onto a gorgeous courtyard with a small saltwater pool. The rooms are air contained and clean with great bathrooms. The staff are very accommodating and eager to help. A sick daughter delayed our arrival by a day but Liam was happy to wait for us. Breakfast was very tasty and sociable. It was a good opportunity to practise our bad Canadian Spanish.

Quality 4/5 very good quality. Little place of this level in Nicaragua. To improve, a little bit of sound insulation and curtains a little more opaque. Continental breakfast a little light for my taste. Deserves a notch above with regard to the quality of the establishment. The set is still top with a beautiful swimming pool, spacious rooms and modern bathrooms with good taste and hot water. Service 5/5 this without being on you. Cleanliness 5/5 public space very neat room, very clean and modern, ditto for the bathroom.

Mr. Liam, owner and his staff are the best they made my wife feel at home. They are friendly and very helpful in every way. We found a home there. We will return and recommend this hotel to all my family friends. Thank you Liam and your staff.

Very clean, both the hotel and the rooms, the people super friendly and they cook very rich pool excellent, and the place where the hotel is located is a quiet area and no noise!

What a magical place! The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. The rooms are beautiful and the salt water pool is great. Wish I could give it 10 stars.

La Polvora is an amazing hotel and the owner, Liam, and his staff are absolutely wonderful! The rooms are beautiful, Liam’s attention to the details has made them comfortable, clean and visually appealing. The hotel itself is also very beautiful, the woodwork is spectacular and the open concept provides a great place to relax and meet other guests. The pool is a welcome hang out after being in the heat and is a perfect temperature for a cool down without being cold. The location of the hotel is perfect – away from the noise and busyness of central park providing a short stroll past the other interesting sights in Granada and engage with the friendly locals along the way. What puts this hotel head and shoulders above other hotels though is the staff. The staff is like a family and we felt that we became part of that family. La Polvora was our home away from home, so much so that after spending 3 nights there, we came back for another 6! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Granada – you won’t be sorry.
