My wife and I have stayed more than a dozen times at Hotel Dario. The service staff is friendly. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, those with a balcony have a nice view towards: the mountains, the Mombacho volcano, the city of Granada and the Cathedral of the city of Granada. Dinners and breakfast are delicious. You can stay and rest as quietly as a baby.

Las habitaciones son limpias, espaciosas y cómodas, las que tienen balcón tienen una linda vista hacia: las montañas, el volcán Mombacho, la ciudad de Granada y la Catedral de la ciudad de Granada. Las cenas y el desayuno son deliciosos. Puede quedarse y descansar tan tranquilamente como un bebé.

Stayed with my mother and grandmother for 5 nights (May29-June3) and had an amazing trip! The hotel itself was beautiful and the lobby was incredible. Honestly, had it not been for Mr. Ramón, our trip would have been less than great. He was attentive and extremely caring for us throughout the trip. He gave us great advice about what to do in the city and how to stay safe. He pretty much single-handedly did all the customer service a customer would ever want. Rest of the staff was great as well. Rooms were spacious and pretty clean. Breakfast and coffee were the best!

Everyone is lovely here. The hotel is immaculate, the breakfasts and specialty juices are fabulous. I will definitely stay here again and I will recommend this hotel.

My third time in Granada Nicaragua I booked the Dario Hotel one of the best hotels in Granada because I always look for the best as anyone else would Upon my arrival everything looked beautiful (I booked a 6 night stay) up until the first day I asked for another room because the room was unacceptable UNFORTUNATELY the bathroom had SALIVA STAINS IN OUR SINK AND SOMEONES PUBE HAIRS IN OUR TUB (DISGUSTING RIGHT) the room had not been cleaned properly AT ALL (of course I complained and got moved to another smaller room even thou we started with the the "junior suite") Now second room was better up until my wife noticed she was GETTING BITTEN BY BED BUGS AFTER NOTICING SHE HAD 5 BITES ALL OVER HER LEGS I KNEW THEN WE HAD TO GOOOO bringing this to the attention of the manager on duty she informed me that they had a bed bug problem awhile ago while their hotel had been empty for months due to the political issues happening there and that there had been an exterminator here to exterminate and that she could show me the receipt and license to prove it BUT THAT THE BEDS WERE NEVER REPLACED. My wife was extremely upset and demanded that we leave immediately all the clothing that we packed we had to discard (WHAT A VACATION HUH bright side shopping is inexpensive yes but who wants to come on vacation and lose all of their clothing because of BED BUGS!?

This is the best of the best places to stay in Granada, perfect accomodations and delicious food with and exceptional service.

Definitely a beautiful place to rest in Granada, the rooms are very comfortable, the typical Nicaraguan breakfast delicious and the attention of the person is wonderful.

A very complete hotel, very attractive in the heart of the Granada, the area of bars and restaurants, balconies estuoendos to go out and appreciate the impineal view of the church that is only a block away.

Great hotel in the middle of the very animated Calle Calzada. Can be a bit noisy. Very good breakfast buffet.

Hotel located in La Calzada, close to cultural activity and fun. Colonial architecture preserved, with comfortable rooms, hardwood floors, central patio, good food.

Overvalued and expensive. Should return to its position as a family hotel.

I thought it was better… The attention is not as good as it should be.

Stopped for coffee. How far wrong can you go with a coffee called a Bazukero! It was great. Servers were lovely if a little overzealous.

It is a very nice hotel that offers good food, good woods and a cool atmosphere. Especially, that in the evening you can smoke a good cigar on the terrace that is on the street.

Beautiful colonial building set in the sought after area in Granada which is opposite many bars and restaurants. Pool is small, but nice and deep for a cool off; beds comfortable; air conditioning great (and very much needed in this heat) and great central location for activities in and around Granada. However, internet is very poor but allowed us to really connect as a family and enjoy our surroundings.

My girlfriend her family and I decided to take a stroll in Granada, on our way back to our rental car I happened to look inside this hotel which had an amazing water fountain and beautiful wooden decor. We sat down to have a small appetizer and some drinks. I ordered the croquetas which where mouth watering, kind of took me back to miami for a split second. The salad was fresh and crisp as where the chips. My girlfriend asked for a caipirinha, she had never had one but Iv had many in my travels and suggested she try one. It wasn't to her particular liking so she took a sip and left it on the table. Moments later our serve brought her 6 year old brother a cup full of ice cream. He stated it was on the house. On the house I said to myself? This kind of treatment is rare for Nicaragua. We accepted the offering and thanked the server. As we enjoyed the beautiful environment and great energy I looked to my left and saw a gentlemen sitting alone but having extensive conversations with the staff. He seemed very friendly with the staff and they reacted very well when they saw him. I figured he was a regular. The gentleman seemed extremely interested in how we where being treated. He approached our table and introduced himself. He spoke English and said his name was Pedro. He explained like an intelligent businessman that the customers are the core of any establishment. He asked that we provide feedback to the staff so they could adjust or fix anything we didn't quite like.

Great 5 nights at the hotel. The decor is beautiful. Staff extremely friendly. Breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious. We had lunch one day and it was amazing.

Excellent traditional colonial building. Great service in the hotel. I was married in their hall and it was one of the best parties ever. I am biased but I still get people telling me how beautiful everything was.

Open air hotel in an old colonial style architecture setting. Simply beautiful with a central courtyard with flowers, palms, and flowing fountain. Very kind and courteous staff. Very close to the town square, about 10 restaurants immediately out the front door along with the hotel's restaurant. Simply beautiful!

I loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect, with tons of shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions all around. The staff was incredibly helpful, asisting us with any questions or needs for advice, as well as helping ensure we parked in a safe spot in the alley behind the hotel. Every evening when we got back, the security guard would come out, direct us to the best parking spot, and take care of shooing off any beggars (which are unavoidable, so don't take their presence as a negative indicator about the hotel). We also ended up with an extra traveling companion and the hotel staff graciously accommodated our need for a bigger room. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with a quaint little pool in the courtyard. The room was spacious, with plenty of space for our luggage, had a very nice bathroom, and provided excellent toiletries. This was BY FAR my favorite of all the places we stayed in Nicaragua, including 3 other hotels and one all inclusive resort. I wouldn't return to a single other hotel we stayed at. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Just talk with a young man who was looking for a job in this hotel and it turns out that the chef that has the hotel name fredy is a porqueria who uses his position to bribe the vacancies of work to change your desires morbid sickly, as is the case of this young woman, whom the chef said: my depends on that give you the work and for that you have to be my wife because I like you" that lack of ethics, professional, the hotel should take action in the matter with this type of people because they leave a bad image of the hotel. And if you don't believe there is even evidence that, in the next few days the show if the girl allows it because she feels more shame of all this is that the chef fredy porqueria, because until the message it sent this chef saying the same thing over and over again. Amenazandola that if you really wanted the job had to be with intimately.

Wonderful haven in the middle of the city! The Dario Hotel is gorgeous and accommodating. The food is spectacular, and the staff is welcoming. Stay here.

I love tgat place. Ver good coffee and an excellent restaurant. The rooms are outstanding.

Great place. Me and my wife stayed one night and the price/sevice was very good. The location was dead in the middle of every thing.
