Exceptional hotel. More than impressed.

My husband and I stayed one night in the Anniversary Suite last weekend. The welcome, and little extra touches were wonderful and the room was glorious. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and I loved the luxury of things like the leather armchairs. Also the freestanding bath where I could lie with a glass of wine and watch the tv. The art everywhere is wonderful and really adds to the special feel of this hotel. Thanks for a fabulous weekend, we will definitely be back.

Such wonderful friendly staff and the location is fabulous. Stunning rooms with gigantic beds with lush soft linen.

I am very particular about decor and ambiance in a hotel, for me it’s a treat and should feel somewhat luxurious to stay away from home for a night or two. The amazing personal welcome and warmth of the staff as well as the colours and artwork around the hotel give it a classiness that is impossible to find in chain hotels.

Logan was amazing and beyond and also FOH in the morning. Thoroughly enjoyed our last minute overnighter, everything we wanted and more. Will be back for sure.

What a lovely stay I had here last night. Hannah was amazing as a bunch of us arrived very last minute. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and has everything on hand for a very comfortable stay. Thank you King and Queen hopefully I’ll be back some day.

Can't say enough positive things about this place, pretty gutted we only had one night. The service is friendly and top notch. The rooms are incredible, you actually feel like you're in someone's home and not a hotel room. The interior decor is very swanky. Bathrooms are awesome and our suite had washing machine and dryer which we desperately needed. Oh and also there's a fireplace with leather couches in the living room! On top of all this you're right in the heart of the city and the hotel co-owns a few places so you can get some great deals on food. We went to the pizza place right next door and were not disappointed. Highly recommended and we will be coming back.

I was expecting a lot more from this hotel. Good location & ambience but nothing special and worth coming back to Parking was difficult as there are not many spaces available. Hotel amenities are very basic nature. Receptionist was polite but not friendly or welcoming. Always staying in high end accommodation but this hotel definitely didn’t meet my expectations and won’t be staying here again.

Stayed last night, Lovely staff and the lodgings were we'll appointed throughout. A pleasure no doubt and I look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this place, it's everything quality lodgings are supposed to be.

I stayed here the night before and the night fo my wedding recently and so glad I did! The hotels and rooms are beyond beautiful but it is the service that really sets this place apart. Truly exceptional! You have set the bar very high for any further travelling, I may just have to book only staycations here in New Plymouth with you. I travel a lot and most places are fine. This place and its people are exceptional. The whole place is boutiquey, efficient, customer-centric and well-appointed. Great services and location. Highly recommended.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. We stayed in the Anniversary Suite and were pleasantly surprised with quality, service, location and amenities of the hotel. Receptionist was amazing, and so was the arrangement of quality dining establishments on the ground floor. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway.

Excellent place to stay in New Plymouth Stayed for 4 days in December 2017 Lovely luxurious and quiet.

Management always very nice to deal with. They greet there clients with a high degree of greetings. And when leaving they make sure that you get to your taxi all okay or you can just get in your taxi which should right outside the doors.

It was an amazing stay. The reception staff were professional and very helpful. I will definitely go there in the future… Superb service…

Great location. Quiet room. Had room next to front desk but didn't hear any noise since the room had a hallway and extra solid door. Room was next to street but did not here any traffic. Very friendly staff. Loved the Harney & Sons tea and cookies.

The service is personal friendly and very helpful something I think is missing in big glamorous hotels the beds are very comfortable and the overall unit is comfortable restful with a elegance of indulgence.

Loved staying here, Had a night away without the kids and purchased the movie package deal felt so welcomed by the receptionist and to top it off, told us our room had been upgraded! Perfect way to spend the weekend and my birthday and first night away without the kids. Defiantly a place we will have to come back often for a break was so relaxing and so central to everything. I've been to many five star hotels around the world, King & Queen stood a class above the rest. The service is exceptional, the staff are very friendly and attentive to my needs. I would like to mention James and Daniel in particular has been very helpful in everything — from suggesting interesting places to visit, to suggesting best restaurants and eateries, I didn't have to struggle to find anything as I could just call them up and they always have a suggestion for me. I had a long three weeks stay with a short check out in between as I had to go to other cities, they were very nice to book me the same room when I returned with my luggages and things returned to where they were! Now that's a service I didn't​ find anywhere else even in five star hotels. There overall experience is just exceptional. They made me feel at home and relaxed. I am looking​ forward to my next stay at the King & Queen. Hats off to the KQ team and "terima kasih" (thank you) for the stay.

Comfort service location and value.

Stayed in the premium suite. Fantastic service from the front desk, amazing comfy king sized bed, great bathroom, good sized room including kitchenette and sitting area. Delivery available from several local restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I have just spent two great nights at King and Queen. We had a wonderful experience starting with the warm welcome from James and Luke to the well presented room, fashionable decor and very comfortable bed. My wife loved the fragrance of the candle that met us in the hotel foyer. James and Luke couldn't do enough to assist us with things to do and what to visit in the city. We loved the food at adjacent cafes Monica's and Public Catering, so close to the hotel, both get 5 stars from me. The proximity of the hotel to the art gallery, city, cafes and sea side board walk meant everything was within a stones throw. Well done King and Queen, we'll be back.
