We recently stayed 2 nights with you guys and couldn't fault a thing. The service was great, accommodation perfect. The playground was awesome fun for our 2 year old, as was the trampoline. If we stayed for a bit longer the pool would have been a hit as well. The shared kitchen space and shower block we're really clean and well lit. Made finding them in the dark super easy We will certainly be booking to stay with you again. The McCallum Family.

We stayed 2 nights in a tourist cabin last week and loved it! the staff were all so friendly and helpful, the cabin was tidy and had everything we needed.

We only stayed one night here. I wish we could stay some more. The place is nice, facilities are good and very close the Chirstchurch Airport.

We enjoyed our stay!
The first day of our booking we received an email first thing explaining how to get our key if we arrived after hours, which was great because we turned up a lot later than we had planned.
When we got to our room it was nice and clean and warm.
After the 2nd night we were going ask if there was a vacuum we could borrow but when we got back from our day out we come back to an already vacuumed room :) much better service than the 5 star hotel we stayed in Queenstown only a month earlier we asked for a cot, and we were rung on the first day and asked where we would like it. It was set up with blankets! Our 5 star hotel had to be rung after we checked in and no blankets. So it just goes to show how great this place is!
We are really happy with North South Holiday Park and will definitely be back when we come to Christchurch for another holiday. Super handy location to Orana Park which is the main reason for our trip, a very short drive away. Z and Burger King is a walk across the road so we were able to buy milk etc…

The staff is really helpful and friendly. We got a pick up from the airport. This establishment has everything you need. Well kept place. Everything is super clean. We're staying in a cabin deluxe, reasonably price. Worth every penny. Well recommended. Well done to North South Holiday Park Team.

The lovely receptionist is so friendly and give us information which we need. Clean and tidy facilities/environment. The bed is really comfortable!

Good bedding and Free Wi-Fi were very good features that made me feel comfortable during my stay.

I find this really hard to rate, in general it was fine and a reasonable price, but there were a few things that I just need to mention. All six of us had to sleep in the same room which isn't so bad, but there is no door between the wee lounge and the bedroom. So if you want your kids to sleep you can't have the TV up. Although the sheets and towels were clean in general, I found a piece of pet hair on the sheet and a long piece of human hair on my towel. Then the bathroom seemed clean, but the window security fitting was all grungy, and the shower was fine other than the bottom hinge which just needed a jolly good scrub. Several of the dishes in the cupboard were not very clean, but that could have been previous users. And last of all its pretty close to the airport so there is a bit if noise, but nothing that would wake you up.

It was closing in airport. But it was expensive a little bit ($42 powered site of 2 persons). And bathroom was old also shower boths. And they give free Wi-Fi to us. But it was useless. No connect.

This one was surprising. Went down a short road with construction and a servo on it and came to this place. I was a little iffy by the road upto it but the sites are an ok size, Showers are warm, Wifi is free and was pretty good. Minus the planes flying overhead it was a quiet night sleep. More relaxed style park which can be good after all the hustle and bustle of Christchurch. Don't count this one out.

Absolutely brilliant staff when I checked in. Room was great I had the 4 bed backpacker room. Kitchen was clean. Showers were good but you only have a 3 minute limit then have to wait 6 minutes to re use.

Great place close to the airport. Good facilities with tea and microwave etc. Even had electric blankets so warm and toasty.

I stayed here last year on the first and the last day of my cycle trip. I found the owners very friendly and helpful, which made my life a lot easier. The organizer of my cycle trip explained that they stay here every year because of this reason. I considered that it is close to the airport an advantage, I walked to the airport from there in 45 minutes.

Had a self contained unit. Was nice but the heat pump needed servicing as it didn't warm up enough. Otherwise a good place to stay.

Great place to stay lovely lady at reception very helpful and the place was clean and tidy. A1+ all around, would stay again.

Perfect for on-the-budjet travelers. Place is simple yet complete. Toilets have 24hr. Radio broadcasting so you won't feel lonely. Cleaners clean frequently. There are different available places to stay: for RVs, a bunkhouse for groups of people, a complete house for families that will stay long and house that have rooms only for a quick stay. Kitchens, toilets and laundry areas are easily accessible. You can borrow dvds and dvd players for entertainment. They just don't have activities inside the facility but they have a park and a playground.

I liked the place for what it was but there were a couple things I disliked as well. For a close place to the airport it was good. Has all the amenities you need. But it is noisy (being close to the airport), price changes depending on time of day, don't pay more than 17$/night/person for non-powered. The stay for a night was fine wouldn't stay longer.

Very convenient location and lots of accommodation options. We had the cottage and appreciated having our own space for our two dogs. However there was insufficient hot water for one person to shower let alone two! The fridge was also faulty and no wine glasses.

My caravan got broken into here while I was overseas. They did nothing about it but call my contact person. They didn't bother to secure it at all, they left the door wide open. They could have at least moved it. By the time I returned it have been rummaged through over and over again. When I drove in to retrieve it the office was open, when I left with it the office was locked and I'm assuming they were hiding. They wouldn't answer the door anyway and it was the middle of the day. Not even willing to discuss it or apologise. They are VERY bad people.

Is mainly tried by campers before the levy. Very noisy place as air traffic and a back and forth driven cars.

It was a very nice and quiet place. Staff was very nice. We had issues with Wi-Fi and was nice to move us to another cabin. Thank you for the great stay. One day I will be back to visit.

Great location, shame about the person throwing up their ring at 2300hrs last night right outside my door. The lady who took the dog for it's morning bowel movement every morning while I was there (and did it on the grass less than four metres of my room, within smelling distance. Nasty, Gross and Stinky! ) and as for the Wi-Fi. Well it was virtually non existent where I was! I had to walk to the office to get Wi-Fi reception. But apart from that it was ok.

Dirty and smelly — had we not prepaid we would have left. The pool and playground were decent. Our first room stunk horribly and was not clean. We then changed to the room next door. It wasn't smelly but it was quite dirty as well and needed a seriously good scrub. Thankfully we had an early flight and weren't there long!

Good accommodations. Location was very convenient for the proximate airport. Facilities were clean and easily accessible.

Quite close to Christchurch city and so we stayed overnight here to see local Christchurch. Visited city and botonical garden from north south holiday park.

An inexpensive place to stay offering campsites powered or unpower. Motel unit was clean as was the shower block and communal kitchen.

This is a great Holiday Park if you just arrived in Chch or this is your last night and you’re heading to the airport the next day. Sites are big enough and enough facilities for everyone. Some people might be bothered by the fact that you need to pay a fee to borrow kitchen equipment, but everyone with a campervan will be fine.

I had a wonderful wknd here in the bunkhouse in November. There's so many lovely little spots around the place to sit and enjoy the peace and surroundings! The mattresses were pretty comfy too which was a lovely surprise from other bunk beds I've been in!
Would definitely visit again if I get to the south Island again. Great place and aweosme staff!

Beautiful, large square, close to the center. Staff friendly and helpful, sanitary rooms clean. Children's play area is available.

Was a great place that served our purpose while in Christchurch. Staff we're very helpful.

It was ok if you are on a budget travel. We wanted to try out for a night hence found it ok. The bathroom and kitchen area are all shared in a common area. Bathrooms were clean and maintained well. This can be a good place for campervan people as they can park there. The room had a microwave, TV and a mini fridge but to wash the dishes you have to go to a common kitchen. Hence gave only 3 star as the bathroom facility was not in the room.

Great location only minutes away from Christchurch airport, car hire drop-offs, and major roads. Excellent, friendly service, clean and well maintained facilities and wide choice of accommodation from tent to cabin. We stayed here twice in February this year for many days each time and really enjoyed our stay. We'll also do so again in the future without hesitation. Highly recommended.

The service of the staff is exceptionally good. They helped me very well. For me this holiday park was the beginning and the end point of my holiday. I could not think of a better place to start and finish. They helped me out in dealing with my bicycle, borrowing tools and were very flexible with temporary leaving luggage, which made the logistics of my holiday so much easier. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Really loved this friendly family run holiday park by the airport. All the camper rental places are within walking distance — we just needed a reasonably priced place to stay for the night before our flight the next day after a camper tour through amazing NZ. Has all the facilities for cooking dinner with a few of the essentials such as oils and what not, a playground for the kids, and even a swimming pool to cool off. We were just pleased to be treated to a quiet place with really comfortable bed and pillows! Definitely recommend.

Spent 4 nights here with 2 kids (1 yo and 7 yo). Clean and good amenities. The kids enjoyed the playground, pool and also the pedal bikes you can rent out! The location is great — close to the airport but also close to petrol station if you need any supplies. There is a great fruit and ice creamery near by which tends to be very popular. Friendly staff and always willing to help and assist when needed!

Stayed here for 3 nights, comfy beds, great amenities. Excellent location near the airport, amazingly helpful staff and just a beautiful spot. Lots of trees and natural feel to it. I'll be back!

Lovely place to stay, friendly, clean and quite, love our stay everytime.

This camp is very close to the airport and the filing of camping car. It is his only asset, and also can be the cause of a letting go.
The bungalow we stayed was very very old carpet very damaged, paintings shucked and more expensive 65 dollars WITHOUT THE SHEETS! you pay a supplement of $ 9 to get.
But the laundry is clean and there is a fridge and all necessary dishes.
The rooms are clean as well as the kitchen but seems poorly maintained… it's the only disappointing campsite I stayed in this beautiful country
In front a litle makes simple and good dishes and makes also hotel?

Expensive, facilities were not clean and especially the bathroom smelled like gas was put all over it, hard to stay in…

Nice holiday park with all the facilities, only 5 min from airport and provide free pick up service.

We have been here for a week now. Easy to use as a base, avoiding the central traffic. Very clean and affordable. Well done guys.

Good to stay as a backpacker.

Stayed for a week with our young child. Found it very suitable for us just had a basic cabin with bunks, double bed and portacot for baby. Kitchen table, amenities, TV and couch. Communal kitchen and bathrooms were close by and kept tidy. I found it weird that the bathroom was unisex but wasn't a problem. The showers had good pressure and you got 6 minutes before the timer stopped which was very adequate. Our matress was a bit uncomphy tho. Would stay here again as it's nice and central to everything and the airport.
