Close to the Airport, picked up by the Motel shuttle, Graham was lovely, even offering to drop our group off back to the Airport after our course finished. Breakfast was lovely they even gave me a large Soy milk which was so nice… Rooms very comfortable clean and quiet, both hosts were amazing, thank you for a great stay. Recommended.

We left a cell phone in the room and only discovered it missing when we arrived at the airport. Our plan was to hire a taxi to retrieve it however Dave insisted he drop it off at the airport. We had it in our hands within 10 minutes.
The motel room was excellent, warm, and quiet.
I plan to stay there next time I visit Christchurch.

This Motel is just the best! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a Team of 12 Ladies. The rooms were just so very clean and nothing was a problem for Sharlene & Graham, they were so accommodating & super friendly, also the receptionist Rebecca was just lovely & very efficient. This Motel is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend it. The rooms are a lovely size, clean & modern. Fully equipped with everything you need. And the staff are very accommodating and friendly. 10/10.

The host's Pat & Bill & Sharlene &Graham are lovely welcoming hosts. Rooms are spacious & beautifully clean. We were looked after wonderfully. Recommend without hesitation. Thank you so much.

Convenient to airport, well appointed, comfortable rooms. Housekeeping is immaculate! Managers very friendly and helpful. Easy access to city bus system, nearby restaurants.

Fabulous spot to stay in Christchurch — very comfy bed and pillows, extremely clean rooms and hosts Graham and Sharlene are lovely and very welcoming. We stayed in both a one bedroom unit and also the spa room both were great, definitely enjoyed the spa.

This has to be the cleanest most well appointed and most reasonably priced motel we have ever stayed at, plus park and fly facilities $5 per day best value ever.

Very good motel and good experience here. Well equipped rooms. The room is tidy and quiet. The whole place seemed to have an air of being well run and organised. I use their transport option to the airport and their vehicle looked new and as immaculate as their rooms! I stayed one night but it is ideal for the airport stay. Would definitely highly recommend.

Really disappointed in this hotel. The mould around the shower was revolting and you could see where they had tried unsuccessfully to disguise it. There werent enough blankets & no electric blanket on the beds. We were advised not to run the heater and kettle at the same time as the electrics were a problem. We got a wake up call that meant our short sleep was even shorter and then we could not get on the airport shuttle at the time we wanted as they were full. Wont be staying there again.

This is our 'go to' place when we stay in Christchurch. A friendly atmosphere, the rooms are spotless, modern and cosy warm in winter. A short drive to some good local restaurants and cafes.

Exactly as advertised. Convenient to the airport, affordable, meticulously clean, crisp administration with a cheerful twist. Walking distance to lots of international eateries. It's not a scenic marvel, but it was precisely what we needed.

Very well appointed family unit. All facilities. Close to airport, shopping, ameniities and Antarctic centre.

Had a 2 — night stay. The room was very clean (with a sink, fridge, micro, large bathroom) and had a comfortable bed and pillows. The Wi-Fi was lightening fast and free. Laundry was free and had soap that was provided. The hosts (and that's just what they were as it was like speaking with family) were friendly and went out of their way to answer questions and help me with booking a trip. They were also kind enough to store my bag when I had a late departure flight so I could spend the final day in Christchurch and not sit around at the airport. They also provide a free shuttle to the airport. Everything was top notch and a great value to boot! Plus I got to play with Molly!

Our bedroom apartment was fairly spacious, clean, and comfortable. Very close to the airport, making it convenient to catch our plane. Would stay here again when visiting. :)

My wife and I have stayed in many hotels and motels around the world. Airport Palms Motel would have to be one of… if not the cleanest motel we have stayed in. Totally recommend it.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago for a sporting trip. The temporary mangers looking after the place were just amazing. The service was outstanding, nothing was a problem and they even accommodated us by looking after some of our gear on the the day of check out so we could come back and pickup later in the afternoon. Top notch managers would high, y recommend. We will definitely be back and stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts could not be more accommodating! This hotel is extremely neat, orderly and beautiful. It is a very good deal for your money. We had fast free Wi-Fi. The rooms are spacious and then bathrooms have lovely fixtures. The kitchenette was also new and very clean. We had two complimentary milks. There is also a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. There are bakeries and a grocery mart within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Very clean and comfortable. Free milk, soap, bubble bath lotion (for the spa bath), shampoo etc. Great high pressure shower and extremely comfy bed. Hosts went out of their way to assist our team including complimentary airport pick up and drop off. We shall return.

1 of the best Motels we have ever stayed in. We stayed with you under very trying conditions and your comfort and warmth shown was wonderful. I hope 1 day we can return to really enjoy the motel room. The delivery pizza was the absolute best pizza ever, thanks for giving us the menu :)

I don't usually stay at Motels. I prefer hotels however I have stayed at the Airport Palms 3 or 4 times now and keep coming back. The rooms are always really clean, very comfortable and I always sleep well. Also most rooms seam to have a bottle of water in the fridge and cookies in the kitchen. Little things like this really add to the experience. Would highly recommend.

We stayed 3 nights, and were happy with the experience. It's quiet, well appointed and conveniently close to the airport, cafe, and restaurant. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. There is a free shuttle bus.

Rated the best motel in Christchurch on Trip Advisor — but sadly this was not my experience. Check-in, 15 mins after closing was brusque and intrusive. I booked a King and shouldn't have to tell you three times that that's what I want. Wi-fi was annoying in the extreme. Free 30 minute coupons which come with annoying pop-up ads every other minute and the internet usage times out when you're in the middle of sending emails, etc. Then you have to type in a different user name and password and start again. I had to beg the owner to buy a $5 all-day internet coupon but it wasn't much better with all the spam advertising that I had to click off to do what I wanted. Sky TV consisted of two sports channels and one movie channel. No shuttle service is available before 7am. Our flight was at 7am so we had to pay $20 for a 3 minute cab ride to the airport. Lots of customers on Trip Advisor have commented on the friendly service here. Maybe we just struck them over a freakishly bad 48 hours because they were unhelpful and unfriendly.

Better than a hotel, rooms are large with kitchenette and separate bathroom. Parking right outside or very close to each room. Well looked after, feels freshly renovated and obviously a high degree of care is put in to looking after the rooms. Quiet rooms as well and $5 for 24 hours of Internet (actually, FYI $5 gets you more than 24 hours and something huge like a 5GB cap). Speed test in my room reveled Wi-Fi running 1.5Mb down and 4Mb up which is enough for remote desktop, streaming video and certainly for quick email and web browsing.

Very modern decor, well positioned for airport travel. The double-glazing in one of my windows didn't cut the mustard and I wonder if that's where all the little flying insects were coming in. Lovely staff, but quite expensive now with the limited accommodation.
