Currently enjoying the 50 hr massage course and retreat. It’s all that and so much more. Lovely people, amazing vegetarian food, training, lunch break and then busy until til dinner at 7. The day goes so fast and is so wonderful. I will come back many more times. Thank you Mary Jo and VLR family.

I have visited Vibrant Living a few times now and had a wonderful massage. Mary Jo Halligan and Steve are an awesome team. The people, yoga, massage, bike ride, and amazing food make for a "vibrant experience"

I have been to vlr for the pure bliss massage 3 or 4 times now and it is amazing. Well worth the money. The experience has definitely changed me and made me realise I need to treat myself to me time more often. Mary-Jo thinks of everything. This place is well set up, professional, relaxing, and if you are lucky you might even get a taste of Steve’s baking. From the moment you step inside you can feel the calming effects vlr has. I’ve tried another massage venue this year and it was awful and I will not go anywhere other than Vibrant Living Retreat now. Absolutely love this place.

I had a QHHT session with Mary Jo in June 2019. I had many questions I needed answers to and Mary Jo patiently guided me through these questions with my guides and Higher Self. Some answers validated what I already knew and others gave me a higher insight to my journey here on Earth. I have walked away from a connection that was not in my best interests since the session. After doing this I felt as if a huge load had been lifted from my shoulders. I am still processing and moving through my session. I would recommend Mary Jo and QHHT to help you move through the issues your are having in your life. I have grained a greater insight into many issues that I was struggling with. I stayed here on a 4 night yoga, mindfulness and self development retreat. Mary Jo and her wonderful team made me feel so welcome, it’s a safe place to relax and unwind. No judgement, just compassion and love.
I suffer with severe anxiety and was feeling very disconnected. After my QHHT, I felt like something had shifted, I now have the tools and resources to practice everyday to be happy again. Mary Jo is very intuitive and has a wonderful way with each individual, her guidance and support is just what I needed, I am forever grateful. The food was lovely and healthy and the massages very relaxing. All the little thoughtful touches, like sharing recipes, advice for the mind, body and soul and of course access to all the resources you need to stay well and balanced.

I had an amazing QHHT session with Mary Jo in Dec/18. Profound info and instant healing came through my Higher Self and Mary Jo guided me with much love and wisdom. Some of the healing was done instantly such as months of back pain and 10 years of cronic wrist pain have been gone since. My 3 years of constant facial breakouts and intense period pain needed some work from me and I am pleased to say that after following the guidance from my Higher Self I've been having pain-free periods (without taking any supplements) and my skin is back to normal for over 3 months now. WOW! It's amazing how much you can address in only one session. Life changing indeed. Thank you Mary Jo for facilitating this beautiful work.

An amazing place with the most breathtaking views. I went there not sure of the experience I was going to have as it was a gift and I didn't look into it before I left. I must say it was a magical gift. What I learnt and also rediscovered while I was there has realigned myself, my life path, my emotional state and given me the fresh start within myself that I have been looking for for a long time. I will be forever grateful to Mary Jo for the lessons, the guidance and the support, and to the amazing facial I had as my first ever facial experience, it was bliss. Also the food that Steve cooks is phenomenal, so healthy and so yummy, breakfast smoothies are a definite try!
I will be definitely heading back to New Zealand again one day to stay longer at the retreat to experience and discover more that wonderful place has to offer.

We stayed in the cottage with our two young children and they let us bring our dog too. It was super clean, private and relaxing. Perfect for small children too, lots of space to run around and play. The walk into town is lovely and not too far. We loved the breakfasts. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

My sister and I visited Vibrant for a 3 day fast with Yoga and Meditation and wow, what a truly humbling and magical experience. Right from when we arrived, Mary-Jo and her team made us feel incredibly welcome. MJ invested so much time and energy into each of our sessions over the weekend and we gained endless amounts of knowledge, love and support and we are so greatful. The yoga and meditation was absolutely amazing and of course the Pamper Packages, highly reccomend the Ultimate Bliss and Travellers Revival! We loved that MJ and her team joint us for the fast which gave us that added support. Couldn’t rave about this Retreat more. One of the most beautiful and uplifting experiences of our lives. You guys are INCREDIBLE! All the best and see you again soon xx.

Vibrant living retreat was by far the best experience ever. Me and my husband felt very welcome from the moment we arrived, the host's Steve, mary-jo and jess were amazing. We had the most relaxing time. We were left to our device's. However if we needed anything they were always there with a helping hand. Villa was beyond expectations. Immaculate and very cosy. Very private, including spa pool area. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. With Steve's home baked breads. We Had a full body massages from jess and Mary-jo. Exceptional. We will definitely be returning one day for another visit. Jessica and Jesse Burnett.

What a amasing tranquil peaceful experence filled with alot of aroha and care and thought to every detail our hosts were amasing and very warm and welcoming very special place, my friends we shared with we were all celabrating mothers day and the gift of friendship so was the prefect place to enjoy each other and telax and rejevinate thank you for looking after us Tania and Debbie.

I went with an open mind not know what to expect and wow what a mind, body and soul cleanse this has been for me. I feel like I'm on top of the world right now. Thank you so much to Mary Jo and Steve for welcoming me into their retreat with such open warmth. I can highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to feel more empowered by life.

We stayed in the villa with it's own private spa. The villa was clean and modern with good facilities — luxury. Breakfast was also very nice. Would definitely recommend!

Not impressed as their dog was roaming around and in the rooms. The dog had just had a hair cut and left parts of hair in our room. My Granddaughter was frighten of the dog. The dog was even in the kitchen while our food was being prepared and while we were eating breakfast. They could not put us in the room that we had a voucher for and upgraded us and charged another $50.00. On the internet the upgrade price difference was only $10.00. 3 course breakfast? … one course must of been a small loaf of bread for two We feel that this accommodation was over priced for the room and misleading advertising.

We have absolutely relaxing 2 nights at the Albergo Hanmer spent and can rightly claim that this is the most pleasant and most beautiful accommodation on our month-long tour was. The accommodation was extremely spacious, clean and there were excellent views of the nearby mountains. The friendly and welcoming hosts (German and English) also offer a unique Breakfast "a la carte": A Three-course Breakfast, the no wishes unfulfilled. Due to the friendly and helpful nature of the hosts, we felt quickly like at home. Conclusion: Full recommendation => next time be sure to!
