We have been staying at Wylie Court for many years as it has great facilities. Candace is efficient and approachable, the same cannot be said for Tony he is unfriendly, uninterested and unapproachable. What he is doing in the hospitality business I dont know because he very clearly isn't keen on dealing with people, he needs to change his attitude entirely or better still get out so no one has to put up with his terrible attitude.

The accommodation was very pleasantly surprised. The Resort has its own thermal pool and each bungalow has its private hot water Jacuzzi all day ready to be used. Very clean and nice place. Very spacious accommodation. Clean, tidy and caring.

This place is awesome! Come and bring the Family, you won't be sorry. Loft for the kiddos and a hot tub to boot! Well, worth it.

Pretty average customer service. Pictures in Wylie Court brochures and online look much nicer/cleaner and more modern than what you will actually get. Rather outdated in general. Especially painted cream interior with crusty textured ceilings that have cobwebs and dead insects, worn exterior, (overdue for a stain/paint) old cheap curtains and rubbish old light fittings from the 80's as are their retro (and not in a good way) ovens, even the toilets are super outdated — come on guys start putting some money back into your investment. Not spotlessly clean either, which is a must I'm afraid. Time for a general refresh Wylie, and also time for your front line team to do a course in customer service. That means being attentive, upbeat, friendly and helpful and going out of their way to make everyones stay special… which they did not for us. Our room did take 6, if you happy to sleep on (not comfortable) fold out couches. Was parking on site, but they don't actually guarantee it. Pool was good temp one day, then colder another, then warm again… and again loose tiles, looking old and crusty which as a paying customer paying good money for decent accomodation, quite frankly I'm getting pretty sick and tired of really run down establishments and particularly under average service of which Wylie Court let us down on both counts.

Nice motel. It is a little far from town but that may be exactly what you are after. Not a problem if you have a car. The heated outdoor pool is great for the kids. It could do with a refresh as bits are looking tired.

I loved this place. It was affordable and was actually really nice. It was the only place that was cheap and could house 5 people.

Had a fantastic week at the lodge and can not praise highly enough the great, friendly service we received here. The couple went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The room and everything we needed and we particularly appreciated the abundance of towels. When using plunge pools, swimming pools and showering one towel just wont cut it. Here at the Lodge the towels are in regular supply making life very comfortable. Rooms serviced daily to a high standard. Car parking right outside your accommodation. Lots of help and advice given with regard to things to do in the area, places to eat and where to shop. We had worried about security reading about a theft in a previous review but it was explained to us the importance of locking the sliding doors from and rear when vacating for any length of time. The theft took place because the occupant did not lock the rear door to the plunge pool. Opportunist crime can happen anywhere but if you take all the sensible precautions as most of us do whilst travelling to minimise the risk, you an enjoy your holiday to the full. The location of the hotel is perfect, Te Puia within walking distance as is the town. Lots to do in the area, we could have done with another few days to relax before heading off to our next destination in Taupo. Washing machine and dryer are available pay at reception. Lovely pool to relax by, we often had this all to ourselves.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was well situated on the end so very quiet. The pool was warm and relaxing.

Very poor. Front of the rooms have large windows with no net curtains. This means you can sit in privacy in the dark, or have light and be on public view. The duvets had no covers on them, and I guess they don't wash them between guests. The picture of the hot tub in the advert looks awesome, however it's an old plastic tub that has seen better days. The arms of the sofa show the age of the sofa. Its tired and jaded. With renovation it would be nice.

Beautiful pool area room was very clean and tidy… I'll definitely be bringing the kids for a family holiday.

Rotorua is a very touristy place. We got a lot of things stolen from our motel room (laptops, backpack, go pro camera, sunglasses …), my backdoor was unlocked and when my family went out for dinner, thiefs came into the room and took all our stuff away. Hotel manager was quite relaxed about it. Wylie Court Motel has no security cameras and entrance onto the property is very easy. A bit disappointed about this place. Rooms are a bit outdated but swimming pool is great.

Loved this Motor Lodge. Walking distance to the town and dairy just round the corner. Very clean rooms with a great outdoor barbeque and pool. We had the 2 bedroom unit with kitchen. All cooking utensils, pots, pans etc were provided — basically everything you would need was provided. Staff and Management bent over backwards. Highly recommended.

Place is awesome, house have everything that you need, nice spa, pool in the area. Highly recommend, I'll definitely stay there again.

Beautiful room-own pool, almost a little too hot. Rooms nice, but a bit dark. Overall, but good and recommended to others.

A great place to stay in Rotorua. Our family apartment was good value for money. The heated pool in the motel grounds and individual spa pool were clean and a big hit with my 11 year old. We would definitely stay again.

Value for money. Clean and pleasant. Lovely pool. Some aging fittings.

Rooms not serviced no beds made had to make our own. Although they did asked if we wanted fresh towels. Very disappointed.

We booked here because of pool indoor spa and restaurant and bar also because a 10 minute walk to town. We got here early evening so we could have a meal and was told restaurant was closed and has been for awhile. 10 minute walk to town is more a 20-30 minute walk. Please get your details up to date on all your internet sites.

The staff were amazing very accommodating and professional great service. We held a family birthday here at short notice and booked 4 rooms and the restaurant CHEF and FOH waiters and waitresses were just great they supported our evening and great communication. With all. Highly recommend staying and eating at this place. Will definitely be back. Only downer was there was a complaint about one of rooms being noisey but they handled that somewhat well.

Recently there for family function, service at Reception and at Restaurant was helpful, friendly and staff went out of their way to ensure that everyone had a great time. We had 3 rooms and family members that stayed thoroughly enjoyed their stay, those that didn't stay wished they had as they were impressed with the rooms and facilities offered. Function at the Restaurant was awesome food great, service awesome will be returning in the future.

Always our favourite place for staying in Rotorua and standards haven't slipped over the years. All the amenities you need in a motel, quiet units away from the road and, of course, an outside (but under cover) spa pool in every unit. Also high on my list of criteria, you don't have to sleep in the same room you eat in and watch TV in.

Friendly service and each room has its own heated plunge pool!

Got a cool room wth a mezzanine floor. Nice and clean with a private hot dip pool in the back.

Very poor service from staff wouldn't except any of my credit cards forced me to pay $100 cash bond incase of damages room was out dated plunge pool was filthy and worst of all NO AIR CONDITIONING only an old dusty ceiling fan that was so noisy we couldn't sleep by far the worst establishment I have ever stayed at me and my family will never return.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff, for all your kindness during our stay in August, the rooms were immaculate, and if course having our own spa was a bonus, the restaurant was only 2 doors down from our room and the food was Devine, price wise was not bad either throughly enjoyed our stay would recommend to everyone.

Arrived on the 31 Jan and checked out Feb 3. Was an awesome stay in the family apartment. The room size and cleanliness of the apartments was very very good (Queen bed upstairs with ceiling fan which went down a treat and own flat screen TV with sky, 2 single beds down stairs, lounge area with another flat screen TV with sky and a pull out sofa bed) very spacious for the whole family. Branched off from the lounge was the kitchen, from that the bathroom and then out the back in a private covered and courted area our private spa. Loved that we saved money on food by being able to cook our own and the kitchen had everything we needed. As a bonus we had our own private spa/plunge pool which was heaven after the long days standing. The free Wi-Fi Internet was also a bonus as at other places we have stayed in Rotorua we get charged or have to pre pay the MB/GB that we use. The staff were very efficient and friendly. There was a swimming pool (although we didn't get a chance to use it) our kids did and the next time we come back to Rotorua we definitely will be staying here again and putting the pool to use. The environment was very well cared for, beautiful gardens and a play ground for the kids. The lodge was full of holiday goers but they were also very friendly. Finally I must say that we looked around at accommodation from other places and were quoted up to $650nz for the period of stay mentioned above (which is in the peak season) but it meant we needed 2 separate rooms.

We recently gathered at Wylie Court for a family funeral and the staff could not have been more helpful and easy to deal with despite having to make many changes too our bookings due to family travelling from overseas. Th units were scrupulously clean and the pool area and BBQ we were able to use made looking after a large group much easier than we had anticipated. Full marks to you guys for smoothing a difficult few days.

We stayed at the Wylie Court for 1 night we booked 2 executive apartments both with 1 queen bed down stairs with an ensuit bathroom and upstairs with and queen and single bed with its own bathroom and belcony. We thourouly enjoyed the spa pool which was located on a patio just next to the stairwell that could hold up to 5-6 adults, the kitchen was fully equipped everything you have in your kitchen at home, the unit was very clean, 2 plasma TV with good channels and dvd player, electric blanket on all beds dont have to sleep in blankets because its too hot, very nice outdoor heated pool, it was easy to find, 5 minute drive to the edge of the city, when requested for more towels they were very quick to bring more, reception was very nice and friendly given us advice on what we can do on our rainy holiday.
