We stayed two nights at Arista and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. Our 1bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable and well appointed with all we needed. Good to have the owners “hands on” presence.
Plenty to do in the area. We hope to come again. Make sure to read the history of Arista!

Arista is highly recommended to families in particular. The rooms were very spacious. The people running the place was friendly and helpful too.

Definitely not a 5 plus star but for value for money, friendly understand staff, great facilities and ease of finding in a central location its a 9 star.

Was a great place to stay with extended family. Lots of space for the kids and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic Place, Clean, affordable and perfect for 4 of us. The Host Mike allowed us to check out later although he was full. He asked the cleaners to do our room the last. Because I had 3 kids he invited us to his private pool at his house since the weather was bad. What a perfect host.

Awesome place to stay… so spacious, clean and warm. Went out for the day and came back to a clean room, fresh towels and set beds which was great! Playground was so convenient for the kids. Thank you to the lovely owners and housekeepers for the amazing stay. Definitely recommend!

We stayed 3 nights in June. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the room was huge with a loft upstairs, it was clean and comfortable. I could not have picked a better hotel for our family. We had a wonderful time.

Arista of Rotorua exceeded our expectations. We had a last minute booking and not only were they most accomodating for our family of 5, we also were provided with secure parking for our 6m boat! The accomodation was very clean to a high standard, had everything we needed, including a portocot and fully equipped kitchen. The playground went down an absolute treat for the kids. Will definately be our go to when we go back to Rotorua.

Probably one of the biggest motel in terms of floor area. Comes with 3G Wi-Fi for 6 devices per day. Two level, ground is the kitchen, dining, toilet, a double bed and a spa at the back, upper level has two single beds and another double bed. So quite spacious for a motel. Staffs at front desk are quite helpful. But you have to remind them the places you're going to visit before they give you the corresponding discount voucher. Generally nice and tidy, a bit old in terms of decorations but manageable.

Service is excellent, and give us some vouchers on spa, skydives, and other activities. Just the room is a bit cold at night.

Should have stayed here for longer! We didn't even get to use the hot tub… but otherwise this was such a great place to stay, it was quiet, centre of everything, clean and spacious, and had such lovely service. And their funds go towards charity, very humble place.

Beautiful motel! We had a wonderful stay in our family mezzanine apartment, which was spacious, clean, and warm. Relaxing in the courtyard spa pool was a perfect way to end our day. The manager had exceptional customer service, as did the owner. We will definitely return here when we're next in Rotorua.

Spent labour weekend at the arista of rotoura the rooms where beautiful, warm and very comfortable. Plenty of space for a big family had DVDs to watch, sky tv, books, spa, Wi-Fi, kids playground and more… Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to town perfect location. If you want a child friendly, clean, warm place to say book now!

Great size, clean and staff were very friendly. One of the electric blankets was not working and while it didn't bother me the staff had it changed over without a fuss. They recommended a Maori experience which was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Totally exceeded expectations. The kids were blown away when we arrived with a cool mezzanine and lots of beds. The place was a great size, with modern fittings and even a hot tub outside which was a hit! Staff were extremely friendly with lots of local recommendations. Stayed there for 4 nights and would definitely be back if we come back to Rotorua. Only minor downside is the distance to downtown, but that didn't detract from our experience.

What a fantastic stay, amazing room for 3 ladies, each having our own bed! Enjoyed afternoon in hot tub with bubbles to drink. Faye recommended a great restaurant for dinner and suggestions of where to visit. Loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks x.

AWESOME… highly recommend this place to anyone. We had the pleasure of staying here. The owners came and introduced themselves on arrival. The staff always went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They gave good advice regards trips and eating places. This family is amazing over coming their own hardship and maintaining such an awesome holiday accomadation. They now support families of sick kids. So if you want a comfortable bed, friendly, clean and close to everything place to stay this is the accomadation for you… not to mention you will help them to help others who are going through tough times with sick kids.

I stayed here for one night. The owner met me at reception and was very friendly. Took my details, showed me around the apartment and gave me a great map of the area marked up with the key locations / pubs and restaurants. The jet tub put back was private and nice and relaxing. The room itself was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. Even gives a carton of milk for your tea or coffee during your stay. He remembered me on the way out and honestly I wish I'd been able to spend an extra night. Wonderful place, highly recommend.

The owners were plain fantastic, they let us get into the room to unpack while they were busy checking someone else in and came to see us to help and give us good tips for the area. The room was very big (two floors) and we had a private outdoor hot tub which was very nice. The room does lack AC because the sulfur in the air (normal for the region) could kill an AC unit quickly, but opening the windows before you go to bed, and the bug spray in the room worked well enough. The room came with free internet for up to 6 devices and 3GB of usage per day, which are both very generous and much better than the average elsewhere. If all places I had been to had so many positives as this one, my travels would have been bliss :).

The apartment is big and with all facilities one would expect. The private jetski and blanket warmer are good add ons. The owner is really nice person.
